Bistro du Vin Cheltenham in Cheltenham

Used the hotel bar. It's not cheap, it's a hotel!! But good service, nice atmosphere.

Great atmosphere servers are all very nice and kind decorated very well the food was amazing highly recommended the soup it was fantastic they are very good at getting the food out fast and super atmosphere

Inspected the hotel for a forthcoming special birthday party. Great environment and friendly staff

We ordered the chicken liver parfait as a starter and the bread came with mould on it which was acknowledged by the waiter so we left the restaurant

Served me mouldy bread. I was sick tonight. Staff claimed the mould was a fibre from from a cloth. I asked for the waitress to bring me the cloth and it was a white dishcloth. The mould was a green spore. When I asked for the bread so it could be independently tested they brought me a different piece of bread. Waiter acknowledged he picked up wrong bit. Manager super anxious and defensive about the whole situation and wanted me off restaurant floor. Mistakes happen but how they handled it was a problem and is concerning. Manager did not want me discussing it with waiter and shut me down at every opportunity. Eat at your peril and best of luck if there’s a problem

There for a lit Fest talk on fashion. Prosecco offered...... disgusting, but not Du Vin fault. However, those who arrived early were guided downstairs but the nibbles were only available upstairs...nothing downstairs. Very badly organised and service at the upstairs bar was one young girl who was pathetically slow and didn't seem to know what she was doing... usually happy with Du Vin, not today and have a feeling this is the future.
