Had dinner here with friends on a Saturday night. Booking on line didn’t work so booked face to face in the restaurant in advance. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and genuine. The food is cooked within a couple of feet of the seating area. Loved the authenticity. Guessing that this is family owned and run. Good value as well. We will be back.

After the disappointment of the England v Denmark game, dinner here revived our spirits! The menu is limited, I guess because everyhing is freshly made and so a huge menu is impossible. The eat-in area is more like a cafe than a restaurant - but what matters is the food and the 3 of us all said it was one of the best Asian meals we've had for a long time. Fresh, tasty, aenouh 'heat' to enhance and not hide the flavours. I would have given it "excellent" except for the wines which were no great - next time we will stick to beer - but we had already had a few pints during the match. The marinated lamb chops , which I guess is their signature dish, were superb.

The food here is amazing and has been every time I’ve visited. Lovely people and I would highly recommend especially if you’re looking for some lovely authentically cooked dishes

This is not your standard, three pot British Indian restaurant. it has a relatively short menu of cooked from scratch modern Indian dishes. The lamb chops are absolutely stunning, the biriyanis delicious and the pokoras tasty and unusual. Great range of beers, modern decor and cosmopolitan music playlist.

Went to collect 2 x Too Good To Go bags, despite having seen some negative reviews about the quantity & quality of the food. Waited almost 15mins to get one bag with 2 boxes of rice and some meat. One was hot, the other was cold. This did not equate to good value for money (TGGT was advertised as food to the value of £12 - so apparently I had £24 worth of food in my bag) I had previously seen the server walking around with a blue glove on - which from my experience should be a one use item (ie, you prepare what you need then dispose of the glove/s, and put fresh ones on for the next prep). I was put off by seeing her open the shop door with her gloved hand, go elsewhere to bring some items in, decant food and then serve customers, all while wearing the same glove, did make me wonder about food hygeine..... I did also notice while waiting that the fabric seating was stained - a bit off putting. In fairness the food quality may be fine, but seeing the way that staff were prepping did not make me want to risk anything. Sadly a negative review but I hope this is taken on board.

Decent Indian restaurant. The fact that it has been around in various incarnations for the last 40 years (that I know of) is a testament to the consistency in food and service. We had a 7pm table booking on a Saturday night, and it was BUSY and therefore noisy! Every table was occupied, and as soon as a table cleared, it was being dressed and occupied by another group of diners. Food selection is good, and the quality is excellent. It took slightly longer than usual between courses, but given how busy that could be expected. Price for dishes are where they should be, and overall, the experience was enjoyable. Would recommend

Alright I've given it a 5 in all categories given it's probably the most banging curry house in the land. Word to the wise though don't stay past 9pm as one of the delivery drivers did a huge shit which gassed the entire place out
