Such a beautiful shopping centre in the heart of the city, I've been shopping here since the 1980s, and it's changed a lot over the years, but still holds the magic it always has had, good old Vic Centre

It's still a great shopping centre although the market has dwindled to next to non-existence is huge shame, it'll be greatly missed 😢

Far too many food places are creeping into here not many shops available but of a hit and miss place sadly

Victoria Centre is the biggest shopping plaza in Nottingham. It's located in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. It's better than before with more shops and clean and tidy

Would not use this TRAVEL AGENCY ever again I'm in Florida now as I paid 20k for a Holiday of a lifetime after booking it in February 24 for BOXING DAY 24, I paid extra for a Luxury villa only to be put into a AIRBNB WHICH is Disgusting No Games room mattresses don't even fit on beds place is Disgusting. I have contacted Barrhead TRAVEL loads since iv arrived and nothing done they Blame the Holiday Homes ppl here but it was Barrhead TRAVEL took my 20k they should have took responsibility and moved us but no they says sort it out when home WOOOW. I paid for welcome pack which gets you bread milk etc...but guess what MILK OUT OF DATE. TO MUCH TO WRITE. SO BE CAREFUL USING THIS COMPANY IM DAY 4 INTO MY HOLIDAY IN A DIRTY AIRBNB WHICH TRAVEL AGENCY AGREES THAT I PAID FOR LUXURY VILLA BUT STILL DOING NOTHING THERE BLAMING AMERICA HOLIDAYS AND THE VILLA PEOPLE. TOTALLY TOTALLY DISGUSTED

Has been improved over the past 10 years or so but still requires further investment to improve experience if it’s to become a real shopping destination. Has some nice shops but a lot of filler as well.

Very nice mall, the parking is very very tight

The atmosphere is nice and lovely Christmas decorations. Overcrowded Most of the time. But nice shops and lots of parking spaces both underground and upstairs. I’ve visited many times and tried most of the food outlets.

Very poor WiFi connection. Couldn't even connect to the system. Blank connection screen. Shouldn't have to put up with this level of Internet service in 2024.

Nice place a little annoying to go everywhere with buggy tho but if you know where the lifts are in certain shops it does make it easier

Fantastic day spent Christmas shopping, went to a beautiful Italuan cafe upstairs, cannot fault at all and I highly recommend stopping there for a break between shops. Christmas tree is huge and so beautiful, if you get the chance, make sure to go see the fountain when it's running.

Still one of the best shopping centres in Nottingham. Good variety of shops and restaurants. Parking is expensive and will put some off using the centre. I’ve used it both on the weekend and in the week day evening and never feel it offers value for money. Need to address the parking costs if this centre is to survive going into future.

A superb shopping experience in Victoria Centre. Very clean, bright and airy with friendly staff and many shops

Great place to park the car close to the city centre. It is better than Tram prices. Loads of stores on the inside. The market is slowly dying, but the rest is great.

I don't really like this shopping mall, Nottingham is let down by this place. A once vibrant indoor market once enjoyed many various stalls, now just a few traders, I imagine paying a lot of £s to the City Council who technically are bust. The normal high street shops in here, a big Boots, John Lewis (know as Jessops locally) Avoid it if you can

In need of a serious makeover, it's hardly changed in at least forty years.

Difficult to find things with lack of signage but staff are friendly and happy to help

There are plenty of shops and in a clean environment and undercover. Has a help desk with very friendly and helpful staff. If you park in the underground car park, it's easy enough to get a lift up into the centre and straight to the shops, so very convenient.

Fantastic shopping centre just sad to see some shops empty but on the whole has everything you need plus places to eat and drink

Undergound car park is a nightmare to get out of around 6pm. We were in stationary traffic queuing to exist for 40mins

Nice place to visit although it is always busy. I used to visit it with a friend of mine several years ago. It was a nice experience.

Lost of shops inside and all but it’s very busy, security guards follow you around for no reason.

Victoria Centre has taken a hit since Covid just like as the rest of the city centre but it's always a pleasure to go to alongside the market. Edit, the Victoria Centre Market doesn't seem to be open anymore, what a travesty for our city centre. I'd like to think in the future these empty spaces will become a bustling busy market once again.

A nice clean spacious environment with toilet facilities at one end

Very busy but lots of shops and the environment is pretty. Womens toilets were insanely busy. I'm unsure if there are another set of toilets in the place, but they should expand that if they can

It is at least 4 years since I visited the Victoria Centre due to being paralysed from the waste down. Really enjoyed visiting with a carer in my wheelchair will visit again in the near future.

Was so disappointed in this place didn't stay to buy anything

People were really helpful and friendly. Sadly the market is about to close and only has an excellent butcher and an excellent grocery stall left.

Despite what some folk say negatively about this centre ,I love it, and it always gets lots of visitors to the many shops and eateries, there's toilets too ,a car park underneath, great bus service with many buses stopping just outside the centre, it's a bright and airy place ,whats not to like

Park is the best place in England to run or walk

Great place to park for motorpoint arena. Enter after 5.00pm and fixed fee of £5.50 easy 9 min stroll to venue ...Good sized bays and swift exit

All the shops I need in one place, thank goodness there are still two department stores left in Nottingham. Was looking clean and tidy when I walked through yesterday morning. Buses conveniently stop right outside too.

Seems like there's more closed shops than open, parking costs are extortionate also now home to the homeless. Drive 1/2 hr up the motorway and go to Meadowhall instead. Free parking, more restaurants and a lot cleaner.

Very large shopping centre a couple of floors with loads of good shops in and the prices were very good there is loads to do around the shopping centre and all shops around that also outside loads of parking

They have reduced the disabled free parking allowance from 4hrs to only 2hrs!! Which is less than blue badge roadside parking allowance of 3hrs. Most disabled shoppers cannot do much shopping in only 2hrs, it takes much longer! 👎🏼 Dark and dingy shopping mall. Cramped in places so you cannot see shops to both the left and right of you. The Emmet clock has been hidden away at the back of the centre 1st floor instead of original location on ground floor outside John Lewis!! The toilets are also only available at the back of the centre 1st floor. There are too many loitering seats available where the Emmet clock once stood and the food court on 1st floor is pretty much empty.

It's a shopping centre. If not local, it has good parking, card only though. Many shops but sadly a dying market.

It's great to find a nice johnlewis.

It was okay. They had an issue with me being dressed like a baby despite there being nothing about this policy on their website

Loads of shops and the food court is small but the choices were good. The Thai/Japanese restaurant had amazing food. Lots to do and shop for all things.

Lovely as always. Only thing I think needs doing is the youth not be allowed to wander around with balaclavas on.. very intimidating, which is obviously the intention.

Always have liked going to Victoria Centre, plenty of shops to look in there is a new small food area on the 1st floor which the smell was lovely. Always clea and tidy.

Great to be back in Nottingham and visiting the Victoria centre. It was important to find out if there were places where we could go in my powerchair with my friend. Plenty of places were accessible so we has coffees plus a super time in John Lewis. It's lovely to be in a real department store. Coffee again with the Emmett water clock behind us. Reminiscent of previous times many years ago, although the water clock is now the opposite end of its original location. I enjoyed chatting in the open area, discussing my next book, and getting ideas from people passing. Accessibility is great. Easy to get to with the tram system nearby. The only downside was that access to the disabled toilets was via talking to attendant to get the key but we couldn't locate anyone. Didn't have time to mess about so went elsewhere.

Decent local shopping centre with a fair range of shops and food outlets. I used to really enjoy shopping at Victoria Centre in years gone by when it was much more buzzing and busy with customers than it seems to be today - it just feels a bit dated and unloved nowadays with a fair number of empty units and a lack of anything genuinely approaching designer shopping available. One of the major issues is that shops at Victoria Centre close early - typically before 6pm so shopping times are limited to the daytime hours really. The fact that they also charge extortionate amounts for parking is absolutely ridiculous - particularly when you have the 10x bigger (and 50x better) Meadowhall shopping centre a 45-min or so drive away. At Meadowhall you can park for free for basically as long as you want so you never feel rushed to get back to your car and can shop and eat and drink in their extensive food-court (Victoria Centre's food offering is fairly pathetic by comparison) at your leisure. In addition to providing free-parking, Meadowhall and most other quality customer-focused shopping centres provide late evening/night-time shopping basically every day which for many customers makes them much more attractive and accessible shopping destinations than the antiquated and out of touch traditional office opening hours operated at Victoria Centre. The people running Victoria Centre desperately need to wake up and move with the times - people with disposable income are likely to also have a car and will quite probably want the convenience of being able to drive into the city centre and park and shop at their convenience - without feeling like they are on the clock and being charged through the nose for the privilege. The majority of people are at work during the antiquated 9 - 5:30/6pm opening hours that most shops in Victoria still operate - shops that inconveniently close around the time that most people finish work and are free to visit and spend their hard-earned cash! Providing free parking - or perhaps validated parking whereby you are allowed to park for free if you can provide proof of a minimum purchase made in the centre - and providing late evening opening hours (potentially with a later start time in the mornings - seriously how many people are out shopping at 9am on a weekday morning anyway?) to enable nighttime shopping would no doubt be an attractive proposition to many customers and in my opinion would really help to increase visitor numbers. If Victoria Centre wants people to choose to come and spend their money there they have to make it as attractive and convenient a destination as possible for customers to visit. Fail to do this and the place will inevitably see more and more empty units as visitor numbers dwindle before dying off altogether like the old Broadmarsh Centre on the other side of town did a few years back. If Victoria Centre doesn't get with the times, customers will inevitably instead choose more convenient and cheaper online shopping, retail parks (again usually with free parking and late opening hours) or more attractive and accessible shopping centres elsewhere. Failure to arrest and reverse the continued decline of Victoria Centre would be a tragedy for Nottingham city centre which has already been decimated by the closure of Broadmarsh Centre followed by hundreds of shops in the area when customer footfall locally fell off a cliff - hopefully Victoria Centre can saved from a similar fate by it's owners waking up and smelling the coffee and learning from the success of other thriving city shopping destinations.
