Disgusting needs cleaning and painting walked straight back out the small of mould ans damp was overwhelming

Top pints, top clientele, top music, even at 5 pm on a Monday. Great bus connections too. Not really a negative but I needed some stuff from Wilko's next door, shame it's closed... Would recommend to family and friends!!

Lovely traditional pub-catering for all ages-my husband and I were able to actually able to sit on a chair...not perched on a high stool as seems to be the fashion in most pubs nowadays.Staff friendly,good atmosphere-definitely will visit again.

We walked in and I saw my long life friend James, Bret and Enoch where really, nice and friendly they are all good bartenders and where very welcoming. The old dog is very nice.

We popped in on a Saturday night whilst visiting Nottingham and found it to be very friendly, and very busy! There was a decent selection of real ale and it went down nicely. There was a disco going on, which some visitors might not like. The pub crowd was mostly older local people out for the Saturday night, and we found it to be lively and very welcoming. Cheers!

Landlady helpful hoped me with app

Been going in this pub for 30+ years and I've never known it this bad ! The last landlord was great but this new landlady is killing this pub quickly ! DONT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS on here or anywhere else because I've personally heard them asking customers to write them many many times , the truth is the early doors staff are cold , rude and abusive the land lady is never there and when she is she couldn't care less about customers concerns, I got falsely accused of being racist by the landlady and when she found out the truth they couldn't even say sorry , TRUST ME ITS NOT JUST THE TOILETS THAT ARE BAD SO STEER WELL CLEAR because sadly this once warm welcoming people's pub where we all felt at home and part of a community is now a cold bland unwelcoming place where you must be careful of every single word you say for fear of it being taken out of context, its a sad joke as to what this great pub has become in under 10 months ! GREENKING WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT ?

All are welcome in here. Dawn and James were fabulous last night with the busy Christmas rush. Can have sports on or music/karaoke nights, there's a good range of drinks/spirits and plenty of seats to relax in. A lovely looking establishment and you can feel like it's a home from home here. Close to town & Victoria Centre.
