Bintang Wok in Preston

Arrived much earlier than expected. Good portion sizes for the price.

I have been many times and they've even helped me out when I've been in a bad spot, lovely staff and the food is beautiful -tom/jack

Bintang Wok is always absolutely delicious, arrives super hot, the people who work there are always extremely polite and lovely, the best Chinese & Malaysian food in Preston and I always recommend it to everyone :)

Order was ready for collection and was of the usual quality

my food was delivered and i wasn’t informed in time that it was delivered so it got cold

Soups (Hot and Sour) lacked any heat or tang (perfectly nice soup, but failed to live up to its name). Black Pepper sauce hadn't seen any black pepper - pleasant savoury meal, but where's the bite?? Noodle was dark, almost black with Soy, but bland.

Busy Christmas Eve and we ordered from our fave Chinese took a long time to arrive but when it did it was hot, flavour was awesome as always - great portion size - thanks for kicking off our Christmas with a bang

Special fried rice, wasn’t special at all, hardly any meat or prawns, massive disappointment, curry sauce was like water consistency and the salt and pepper chips were horrible, poor quality potatoes full of eyes, definitely won’t be ordering again

Absolutely awful. The beef chow mein was so salty, the beef was grey and mushy and looked like it had been cooked on a radiator. Salt and pepper chips cold and hard, no flavour at all. Chicken balls tough and cold, sweet and sour sauce was watery and tasted like vinegar more than anything else. Prawn crackers weren't as bad as everything else but still not worth the £3 I paid for them. Would never order again

I will not be ordering from here again. The salt and pepper chicken was cold and like cardboard. The rice was cold, and the prawn crackers were hard. The spring rolls were nice.

The food was good however ordered beef with black pepper and got black bean instead. It was nice just not what I ordered.

Love the food. Unfortunately they forgot our prawn crackers. We enjoyed everything else.

the meat and rice were on the dry side and there was a bit of an odd smell around the tupperware. the latter might be a cooking oil used so I don't think that's of concern but just not to our taste.

I was expecting this to be very good, unfortunately it was very average. the egg fried rice had no egg in it and the prawn curry was extremely watery with far too many onions in it. wouldn't recommend.

Ordered a munchie box. It didn’t include egg fried rice, veg spring rolls or curry sauce like most Chinese normally include. Delivery driver friendly. The curry sauce was a pot of liquid and to runny. Chips a bit soggy and the delivery time they put was well over an hr seemed ages but even though they weren’t late to the estimate they put it was over an hr

I am Malaysian. My hubby & I were happy to find this restaurant in Preston. We ordered Malaysian curry chicken & char kway teow. The dishes tasted authentic and delicious. Highly recommended !

I finally managed to place an order again after it stating 'not taking orders right now' everytime I checked on here. Food is very good, been a few times now fresh and tasty. Quick delivery also and friendly delivery driver.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty but the chow mein was oily and the curry was salty. Both were still tasty, but not quite perfect

Dried rice was quite tasteless, other than Brown coloured rice there was about 4 peas n nothing else. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was ok but not worth the money. King prawn curry was fabulous as we're the 2 prawn spring rolls. The site have an approx delivery time and I was about to get in the shower when the order arrived! Delivery times are not updated which is very bad!

Good portion sizes, very nice food. Its a shame you cant order Wonton's unless its part of a bundle. I would have liked to order them but you cant add them separately as they're not on the menu :(

Rice and pork was very good , but salt and pepper ribs over cooked small and not much meet lots of rubber . Chicken wings where soggy burnt and tasteless . Cook needs to realise there meant to be crispy and fresh

Food arrived 5 minutes late but was still hot. I ordered the salt and chilli chips, chicken curry and satay skewers. The flavours for the curry and skewers is different to the normal flavour. The chicken satay was spicy. The chips were really good though

Food arrived on time and was hot but the chicken curry was the worst I have ever tasted, came in a gravey sauce not curry sauce, egg fried rice was eggless mush and revolting, such ashame as was a birthdsy tea 6/10. Bbq ribs and chips ok

The meat was overcooked, very chewy with an odd taste. Packaging was extremely soggy with grease. Wont be ordering again.

Absolutely delicious food. I ordered Crispy Shredded Beef, noodles and beansprouts and rice and it was all perfect. Really good quality food that was fresh and hot. Looking forward to trying more dishes now. A***

Good take out food. Have ordered family meals a few time & everyone was happy. Gets busy & they stop the online stuff so you have to ring. Also only takes cash, nearly caught me out the first time.

First time ordering from here...Had the special curry, ribs and house special Malaysian curry. Everything was so tasty. Recommend the Malaysian curry for something abit different to an original curry, slight kick but very tasty!! Plenty of ribs. The beef in the curry melted in your mouth. Definitely going to order again

Food arrived late as I didn't think to check, and it went to the wrong address by accident, food was still warm and very tasty despite being 15 mins later than planned, delivery guy was also very nice despite the error

Food is amazing but the delivery person is an underage child who doesn't speak a word nor seem emotionally present which leaves me feeling concerned for their welfare quite honestly.

Food was delicious and hot, we had the sweet and sour chicken and it was cooked perfectly and the flavour was bang on. Food was 20 minutes late on a Monday night so I can imagine the wait would be much longer when they are busy.

I think it’s really hard to find a good Chinese in Preston, but the food I ordered from this takeaway was really good. The ribs the meat fell straight off the bone. Excellent 👍

Although the munchie box was missed first time round the restaurant were more than apologetic. The food is amazing as was the service. The chef brought the missing box himself. Definitely my go to Chinese now!

Long delivery time although the driver explained that our order was sent to the wrong address (in fairness we wrote the wrong post code) and they cooked it all over again to deliver it fresh. The food was warm and amazing, the munchie salt & pepper box is a bargain. Recommended 🙃
