Bill’s Restaurant & Bar in City of London, Westminster

En general estábamos muy contentos con nuestra experiencia en este restaurante. Nos atendió el gerente Raia que era muy animado, amable y profesional. Tuve un problema con mi filete que pedí medio raro sin embargo se sirvió básicamente crudo. Raia resolvió el asunto inmediatamente a mi satisfacción e incluso fue más allá en la clasificación de nuestra ley. Sin duda recomendaría.

Grandes hamburguesas y papas fritas. Jugoso y de buen tamaño. 2 de nosotros probamos la hamburguesa de pollo con queso... fue maravilloso. Definitivamente volvería. No tuve una espera demasiado larga. El personal de camareros estaba apresurado, lugar ocupado, se olvidó de un par de solicitudes (es decir, ketchup, etc.) pero siguió después de preguntar de nuevo.

We had a wonderful brunch at Bills today. The garden plate is delicious, and huge! Would recommend, even as a non-vegetarian. We were served by Sandeep who was attentive and efficient. Lovely meal, also baby (and buggy) friendly and a perfect spot for an informal girls catch up.

Short walk from Buckingham Palace to Bill’s. Stopped in for dinner. Service was quick and the food was good. Menu offering was extensive. We had walked passed Bill’s at dinner time and it looked extremely busy. However, two floors for dining and the wait was short. Must be a testament to their offering.

Visited for lunch on 28 September and had a pre-reserved top level window table. Friendly greeting, quickly seated and received the food and drink menu but having looked online, I knew what I wanted from the set menu for £15.95 for 2 courses and a third course for and additional £3.00. Chose the ham hock terrine with flatbread and tomato relish and the fish goujons with fries and crushed peas with feta. Both courses were well presented, a good sized portion for the price and tasted great. I had a bottle of the Spanish Verdejco wine with my meal which was well chilled crisp and light and good value at £20.95. Service was polite, friendly, attentive and professional and I enjoyed my meal un an unhurried atmosphere despite being extremely busy at lunchtime. Visited the washrooms which were every clean and fresh. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend as probably the best value dining in Victoria for the price and ideal for a theatre visit.

The first time I went to Bill's restaurant was in August 2022. I was sat at the bar. The second time I went to Bill's restaurant was in August 2023. I reserved a private table months in advance. My 2nd experience was lack luster. The waiter was slow, not attentive to my requests. I ended up relying on other staff members. The food was tasty but not great. The bottomless mimosas did not flow due to a busy, somewhat not engaged, male, waiter.

Went to Bill's in Brewer Street W1. Had the worst meal ever. Ordered brunch. The food was cold and most of it appeared to have been cooked hours before it was served to us. Also visited the ladies toilets which were disgusting.

Celebrating a friend's birthday, we were going to a cabaret and only had a fairly short time to eat. Bill's was the perfect choice and our lovely server, Elisa, looked after us really well with a delicious array of well-cooked dishes coming promptly after ordering. And our friend even got a complimentary glass of Prosecco when they heard us wishing him a happy birthday. We will definitely return!

Made reservations the previous day for 11:15 AM and when we arrived, they announced to us that the reservation is for 11:45 AM. The host was rude, did not even consider that they may be a mistake from their part, neither did he try to accommodate us in any way. He had take it or leave it attitude. So we left and had a wonderful brunch at the restaurant right across the street. I am not sure how long this restaurant will be in business with this type of customer service

Arrived for pre theatre meal, also beloved daughters birthday. The staff made an already lovely night, very special. The food and vibe was fantastic, and hope to get back

We spent a great afternoon in Bill’s, Hammersmith. Our waiter Taylor was excellent - very attentive but not intrusive. It makes such a difference when the staff do a good job. We each had different meals and they were all delicious. I would certainly go there again as it is so handy for Hammersmith tube. The manager George was also very friendly and helpful. A good time was had by all.

My husband and I went here last minute and they were able to squeeze us in! The food and drinks were all delicious. The staff was very friendly! Definitely recommend, just make sure you make a reservation first!

We arrived to find that my friend had booked the table for the wrong time! The manager secured us a table quickly, which was a relief. The salmon was very tasty and the overall meal very good.

Good food but service was below average at best. Waiter took away our deserts and didn’t even ask if we wanted the bill, we were then left for about 40 minutes (I know people can exaggerate but working in hospitality myself I can promise we timed this) trying to catch a servers attention, not wanting to go hunting them down in a busy restaurant. At one point our waiter actually left the restaurant and came back 10 mins later, it didn’t appear that they handed over to anyone to take care of the section. We left a tip purely of not wanting to wait god knows how long for our change. Really was a shame since the food quality was great.

Disappointing. Having been to several other branches I have always really enjoyed a brunch at Bills but the Victoria branch fell well below par. Our table was great, as was our waitress, however when I requested to swap the tomato AND mushrooms from my breakfast for a portion of beans I was told this would not be possible and I would have to pay £1.30 for the privilege!!! I gladly declined. I was also told this was the company policy but having eaten at many other Bills' I know this to be an outright lie. When the food came, the whole lot had clearly just been launched onto the plate with no attempt at presentation, and also no eye contact or communication from the server who just put the plates down and walked away... very weird. We then had to request some butter for the toast which was delivered much in the same way as the meal, absolutely no interaction whatsoever. The experience put a downer on what had otherwise been a lovely weekend away, and sadly tarnished my perspective of the chain which until this point had always been consistently good value and great quality.

Walked in early morning on the 6th February, was greeted very rudely by the waitress/host. Very unwelcoming. Didn't bother eating there after that.
