10/10 experience all round, attentive staff, brilliant customer service and the atmosphere is amazing. I visit at least once a week just for the food alone not only for the quality but for the speed of service too, I can absolutely hands down say this is the number one spot in our city, a tiny minority of these reviews seem to be extremely misleading and setting a bad precedent and I’d like to confirm that these are definitely not the case in my opinion and it’s sad to see a place so many people hold in such high regard being torn down with such negativity. I’m very critical when needs be but have never had a bad or even average experience on my visits and I visit multiple times a week as this is a usual spot for me and my friends.

Awful place won’t be returning. Staff are rude and being the atmosphere down. Had a booking and rang the door bell and the ‘security’ ignored me whilst watching the Tyson fight their phones and when i knocked on the door i got given a disgusted look. Ive paid to be here and get treated like dirt. Music was mid and vibe was dead what a waste of money. Another table added shots to our tab and we only got a discount and not those items removed from the bill. Toilet didn’t flush and didn’t even have a lock on it and floor was vile and sticky.It was my friends birthday and this place ruined her night. Always heard bad things about this place but now i have seen it for myself. Will never be coming back and will let my friends , family and clientele know not to waste their time visiting.

The service was absolutely shocking, all the stuff apart from one lad were rude and seemed disinterested. They were standing by the bar talking instead of asking if we even wanted a menu! The food was okay nothing special at all but was reasonably priced. Cocktails were very good to be fair. However, the toilets were completely unacceptable. The sinks were filthy the toilets were all blocked and the toilets did not even flush. Not sure how they can be dirty at 8:30 on a Sunday when there is 3 tables to serve. I will not be coming back!

Music was loud so you had to speak with loud voices in order to hear each other. Starters ordered but bought up at the same time as the mains? Left our mains under a heat lamp and before the table had finished their starters the mains were back out. The bottom of the burger had gone soggy as it had been sat there while we had been eating our starters. Croutons on the salad were no longer crispy and chips tasted old (most went back). Paid on ordering and when asked if we were splitting we did but the split was completely wrong and didn't get an itemised bill to decide what we were doing/how we were splitting the bill. At the time it was not busy and 10+ staff on and stood behind us arms folded or smoking behind the bar. Was really excited about trying somewhere new for my 40th but feel disappointed by what was meant to be 'lavish' and a 'fine dining experience' being slightly intimidating, not transparent and sub standard food... such a pity. To be honest, the start wasn't great in the extreme security, removal of opened sparkling water and a personal card game? Not sure what security risk that would pose... unnecessary in my opinion and immediately provides a 'unwelcome' feel.

Thought this would be a nice place because it has a lot of hype. We got there and there was not a single person in site. Staff were not attentive at all, the food was a really long wait and was very bland. Will not eat here again.

Horrifying from start to finish. Paying £20 pp as a deposit. Having an extremely intimate pat down from the bouncer and license scan/photograph taken to enter *at dinner time*. Being reminded continuously of how long you have to use the table. Getting all food - starters and mains - simultaneously. Servers all wearing black rubber gloves like a prison cafeteria. Trashy clientele who can’t maintain their personal space. Pounding music and smoke everywhere. Cold food and bad wine. Getting in a fight with the manager, who blames you for not fitting in with their business model. This place a complete joke. Just don’t do it.

The real disappointment, however, lay in the drinks. Imagine our dismay when a Long Island order resulted in a glass dominated by ice, drowning any semblance of the cocktail in a sea of white rum, lacking the promised mix of other alcohols. Our experience here leaves me with no choice but to advise against patronizing this place. There exist far better options elsewhere that respect their patrons and offer both quality fare and beverages worth their price.

My experience was awful , went with a group of my friends for new years . The server was rude , he kept getting the orders wrong. Food was nothing special . It could’ve been better if I actually got what I ordered but when I told the server about the wrong order he refused to take responsibility and wouldn’t correct the order. The music was extremely loud I couldn’t even hear my mate sat right next to me.

The staff was rude when their system made a mistake that cost us a lot of money and had no sympathy for the money we lost because of their system. The waiter we had also walked away in the middle of us ordering at one point. Food was not worth the money, nothing special about it. Drinks were also not mixed nicely.

Everything is great except the DJ who changes songs every 5 seconds and plays siren sounds and can’t mix.

Great place, great music with great staff. Something different that nottingham needed. People are complaining about prices when it's clearly meant to be a high end bar/experience. It seems like a lot of the bad reviews could have been resolved if they just spoke to the staff - not waited until you got home. The fact its busy often shows most people are happy with the service 👌

Nana the head of floor on Thursday afternoon (28th of December). Has 0 customer service. This place needs staff with compassion and a smile on their faces.

The aesthetics of the place does not add up to the standard given when attending. The staff are lazy, rude, not attentive and approach you (if you are lucky and not having to flag them down) like you are annoying them. They do not greet you and set expectations so when you get approached to pay after you order is shocking and targeting. The only good thing about the place was the lovely bouncer The menus are dirty, sticky and falling apart, it's embarrassing They have all these offers available but fail to discuss them with customers and say at the end it is your fault for not paying attention THE WHOLE PLACE IS A MESS

Went to billionz for my friends birthday. A table of 8 required a £200 deposit. I personally ordered spaghetti bolognese, I asked if it was made fresh which they confirmed it will be, however it did taste as though it may have been microwaved. The others on my table confirmed their food was tasteless and bland. The service was terrible, the lady serving us looked moody the whole time. I asked for some cheese for my food, my friend also then asked, the waitress asked if I had cheese left in my pot to give to my friend instead of going to get a new pot for her. Some of our plates started to be taken from the table although some of us were still eating, but then some plates were left for the remainder of the time we were there, in which we had to put them on the empty table next to us in order to eat our desserts. We asked if they did anything special for birthdays, they brought out a cake with a sparkler, however didn’t advise us prior that we would have to pay for this too. We also ordered a white chocolate cheesecake desert. When we were eating it, it tasted like something different and I started to get a reaction. I asked who I believe to be the manager what desert we had been given, he asked the kitchen who confirmed we had actually been given a banoffee pie cheesecake (I am allergic to banana and we were not asked prior to being seated if we had any allergies), when I told them this, the manager didn’t seem to be too bothered. When the bill came, we told them we are not paying anything more as we had to leave due to the reaction I was having from the banana. The music was on a repeated playlist so we heard it around 2 times whilst we were there. Overall, I would not recommend this place, service and food were awful!!

Came tonight for my friends graduation celebration. We were greeted at the door by the lovely security then seated by the host despite not having a reservation. Served throughout the night by a lady with a fringe and wearing a white top. She was so lovely and her service was impeccable. Went above and beyond to decorate the plate for my friend. Such an amazing person to have at your establishment.

Nice place to go for a drink and nice food ,very affordable and good atmosphere but their service is too slow ,we waited for almost one hour just to get our drinks (2 pints of larger and two doubles of jd.)

Such a disappointment. After I ordered my £30 steak to be cooked medium rare, it came and was not cooked correctly, so I asked for it to be sent back and done how I ordered it and they bought it back saying it was fine. I disagreed and they cooked a new one & it was wrong again. So everyone had finished eating at this point so I said I would rather have a refund. The manager then came over and got in my face, arguing with me about it. I asked that he move away from my face and then also became aggressive to my friend on the table, shouting “are you a chef”. Apparently it is not their policy to provide refunds so he bought me a third steak and put a thermometer in it to prove this one was done correctly. I had to help him remove this as it got stuck and he walked away. Disgusting.

This is not to beat Billionz down but genuine customer experience —Billionz is an aesthetically pleasing conveyor belt.. we had gone as a group of 6 for a birthday £150 deposit (Sat 22nd oct) If youre looking for a pit stop before your final destination this is it purely because of the Dj but a 2hr booking for drinks food/ shisha isnt enough time and just when youre vibing enjoy the moment , the manager comes over to tell you time is up even though the waiter service is slow.The food is okay not worth the money though chips came luke warm but the burger hot and the steak came well done even though it was medium rare request, This was changed but then we’d all eaten. menus are beat down and not up to date we asked for mac n cheese we was told we dont have this, not they ran out but it doesnt exist but its on the menu so that wasted time changing/ rethinking our orders. The greeting host is lovely great customer service. The venue was not full and yet they were itching for our table.. ruined the vibe. The Only saving grace was the DJ. The policy stated liency if its not busy.. it was not and when asked ‘well her food has just come’ the manager shrugged and said 10 more minutes. You’ll also notice they favour male patrons/friends over girl groups in priority of service, seating and sitting over their time. Either way noted and safe to say we won’t be visiting Billionz again, if we hadnt paid a deposit we would have taken our custom elsewhere. (Atmosphere= DJ)

food is crazy expensive and is just not very good, paid almost £18 for wings and chips that were dry and bland and the music was far too loud, i couldn’t even talk to the person next to me

First time i be in Billionz and everything was perfect. I was in Sunday all the staff was very kind everyone shows you respect and feel good. The decoration is very beautiful. The music is just amazing. I can’t understand why people write about staff is rude and didn’t treat well on them. The next when i’ll be in Nottingham i am going again to the billionz.

The food and atmosphere as in other good, they even made a cocktail I requested. However I will not be returning this is the second time I’ve came and was greeted with hostility from the workers we was seated right next to the speakers could not even hear each-other speaking, told by management we couldn’t move. Then after spending £300 + had a waiter come and shout at us “your table is finished you have to leave” (bearing in mind we had not booked a table & had been there 1and a half hours)

The music was a tad loud so I wanted to give it 2 stars cause I couldn't hear anything. The only reason I bumped it up a star was solely because the DJ was pretty epic.

Came here on 13.6.23. me (17 yo) and my boyfriend (19)booked for 6.30 as the website said under 18’s couldn’t stay past 8 so we gave ourselves an hour and a half to eat before having to leave. arrived and had our id’s checked, to which the security guard had to go and speak to the manager/workers due to the fact i was 17. didn’t think this would be an issue as we booked for 6:30 with the intention to leave before 8 like the website said. looked like the staff were debating not letting us stay due to this, bearing in mind we had already paid a £20 deposit which was non refundable. decided we could stay but not for long. told us we had to leave at 7:30 despite the website saying 8. seated us in the inside restaurant as the outside area was a bar. it was too warm in the restaurant as it was about 27°c outside and there was no open windows or aircon etc. we didn’t want to eat here anymore but as the deposit was not refundable we had to anyway. waiter was ok he took our orders and food took around 10/15 mins to arrive. food ok not the best but ok for the price. the bar lady gave us excellent service. she came over and checked everything was okay with our food. questioned why we’re sat inside because of the heat, informed her we were not allowed to sit outside due to my age. she provided us with take away boxes and water when we asked her, lovely woman.

Very disappointing. Food was ok. There was no check up to ask if everything was ok or if we needed any drinks. Plates were left on table for nearly 1 hour. Waiter walked by staring at our plates and didn’t even think to take our plates. We spend nearly £40 on a meal for this rubbish service. Will not be coming back! Staff need better training

A nice venue, the decor is very beautiful and food was pretty nice, however the staff were not very welcoming and actually pretty ignorant, also the prices are ridiculous for food and drinks (although the food was very good ) the cocktails on the otherhand weee awful for £12.95 per one drink.

The atmosphere was really lively. They have a DJ that played popular music and throwbacks but it was too loud. Too loud to the point where you can't hear the people you came with or interact with your staff to order anything. If you're coming with a big group (5+) to order food forget it. We went as a group and all our food and drinks got mixed up. The music made communicating impossible. The staff were really polite and hospitable. It's a shame. If you're coming with a smaller group/only going for drinks/date night it's good. It's more of a sit down bar than a restaurant. The vibes are there but the food isn't the best I've tried. Billionz seems all about the aesthetic.

Ordered sirloin steak, done medium. It came out as a ribeye, not seared and greyish. One side was rare, the other side was well done. Even the sauce was lumpy. Told the waiter I got the wrong steak, he gave me an attitude, told me to come down and speak to the chef. Terrible customer service, terrible food and the room was cold. I would not recommend coming here.

The place in general is ok, the customer service was very poo, very slow. Took too long to take orders. But when the food arrived, it was amazing. As for the atmosphere, well the variety of music played was amazing. Overall it's an ok place not as fancy as it's been hyped.

wish i could give it zero stars, bouncer shouted at all my friends nearly got into a physical altercation just because “he wasn’t getting paid” for this short time we just wanted to take pictures, he told us it’s his job to be rude after we were just trying to take pictures for a friends birthday, cant order food past a certain time and we wasn’t told this until after ordering drinks, desserts came (that’s all we could get) and they all tasted like something from Aldi. the ordering system is stupid and confusing as you paid as soon as you order, the staff wasn’t really helpful as in not taking away the plates just keeping them there and just standing about doing nothing. DONT GO THERE IT IS BAD
