food was supposed to delivered half 6 food isn't warm just come too not happy as expect hot meal

Very nice as usual but the chips were just a slight bit warm. It wasn't a Chapatti either & my friend Andy said it was a Paratha or something like that. A bit surprised at those 2 things I've mentioned. We ate our meals as we always do without leaving anything. 💁‍♀️

Really tasty food, we had three mains and two starters. All very nice, only downside was the onion bhaji didn’t come with mint yogurt so was very dry.

Garlic king prawn starter was mush in a loose water based mess; put it in the bin. Onion bhaji starter was over cooked and dryer than the Sahara, the HALF a tub of sauce didn't make it any better. Mushroom pilau was bland and non eventful, the dansak tasted ok but the chicken was akin to the onion bhaji origin, dry as a nuns......peshwari nann wasn't too bad. All in all, awful food, never again.

Never had a takeaway from Bill Quay Tandoori for a very long time as it went downhill big style. But I was told it had turned things around under the current ownership. I'm pleased I gave it a try, I've just had one of the best takeaways I've had for a while, could not fault any part of the meal. Would strongly recommend.

Lush food, earlier than expected. Tikka Pakora is the best in the North East

The staff was friendly , but food was very bad, lamb grisly , onion bhaji rock hard looked terrible , just ate some of the rice, it was put in the bin, first and last visit,

Me & my pal from Newcastle are trying different curries these past couple of months & everything is absolutely delicious! 🤤 This Indian Takeaway is far better than the popular one on Sunderland road. Always hot food when arrives. Usually 10 minutes early the deliveries. Will continue to get our curries from here & looking forward to something new again next time we order. Food was good but not up to it's normal high standards, only slightly below. It took 19 minutes from ordering to turning up at my door.

This is the best Indian takeaway in Gateshead! 👌🏼Arrived early as nearly always. Decided on trying something new & it was delicious. The carton of vegetables was cooked to perfection! Cauliflower is my favourite. 😁 My friend has falling asleep after eating his meal. Will be trying something new again in a couple of weeks time. Delivery guy is a pleasant chap. Must give him a canny tip next time! Happy again tonight. Full belly = happy customers. 😉

Puts most takeaways to shame. in general it's delivered earlier than the suggested time. The food is always piping hot and delicious.

The best Vindaloo curry I've tasted in a good few years! 🤤 DELICIOUS My friend loved his Mixed Balti curry with chapati & the chips are lovely big tasty & chunky which I love! Top nosh for very reasonable price's. 👍🏼 Will definitely order again. 🙂

The food arrived piping hot, and on time, we ordered a mixture of starters, sides and a paneer curry which was all delicious and full of flavour, I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Madras was fine but the masala was very watery again. Even put a note on when ordering to make sure rice is drained as thought it might be that last time . The masala sauce was so watery and not very red it actually had watery pools on the plate and had no flavour. Twice now Very disappointing.

Always a beautiful meal , have used this restaurant for more than 30 years! Sadly they forgot to put in my 6 poppadoms last night which were paid for on Just Eat :(

Received order early but the meat was cold.

Everything tasted reheated, chicken was tough and tasteless, chips were the same. Normally amazing food but it wasn’t this time.

Everything lovely apart from the Mutton Tikka, bland and very tough, left most of it as couldn’t chew it, it was that tough, but my wife enjoyed her Biryani and chips were lovely.

Mix up with meals I didn’t realise that they had put rice in with main meal. I rang them up thinking they had missed rice dishes. The man I spoke to was so rude and didn’t let me explain how it was misleading. He put phone down on me. Anyway the dishes looked disgusting and didn’t taste that good either. Don’t know what’s happened here but used to be a great takeaway. Unfortunately I won’t be visiting again!!

Disappointed that the chicken Bhuna was basically a carton of rice with a small amount of curry. Unsure why they were not separate items.

A very disappointing meal was presented. this followed a completed note requesting poppadoms that were missing from a previous order. we were given only 2 items and no sundries that were promised following a telephone call to inform the takeaway of the error. also the two main dishes tonight (11th July) were very disappointing and a poor quality of chicken tikka. not to the normal standard at all. and certainly not value for money

Order was let down by very poor balti, way to hot and very perfume tasting. Couldn't eat it.

Chicken sag was surprisingly delicious as I normally a madras eater chicken was cooked perfect, onion bhaji fresh not overcooked 😀

Bill Quay Tandoori used to use better quality chicken and always offer tender chicken breast meat. Sadly the chicken used now is in chunks which are quite tough and dry. This spoils the whole meal

Have changed samosas and now don't even look like meat. Disappointing as the samosas are my favorite part.

Rang up the restaurant as the order came wrong. I ordered garlic naan and spicy chips. Both items came plain. I rang the shop to be screamed at and called a stupid bastar* down the phone from the manager as that was what I ordered. My order was almost £42 so I expected it to come right. I will NOT order from here ever again. The food inside was soaked in consensation as they had wrapped everything in 2 plastic bags and the food was nearly warm!!

Used to be best in the area, but this was watery, weak tasting. How can you get masala weak and tastless.

Very nice take away Indian meal overall. Chicken in the curries was tender and the curries were flavoursome. The rice was done nicely and nans, chips and onion bhajis all pretty nice. We will return. Only complaint was the guy on the phone didn’t tell me it was cash only so I had to go to the cash Machine.

Still my favourite curry place 3 years after moving here. the bhajis are amazing and I've never been let down by them once. one of the best.

Absolutely gorgeous curry and rice, only downside was the nan was a little hard in places which meant I couldn't eat a lot of it, but enjoyed the rest of the meal.

My partner said best sag she's had from Bill quay, my madras was heaven big chunks tender beef . Cheers guys 👍

Never again ordered here many of times and on this occasion staff was so rude on the phone. Customer service in the industry is key and unfortunately they no longer deliver.

I can honestly say I've never had a bad order from here. food is fantastic every time, delivery is fast and overall a really good indians. I won't go anywhere else. thankyou again for lovely food!

Super food much better than last time

I’m really upset with the quality of our food yesterday. The chicken was dry and the Bhuna was watery with no flavour. The poppadoms were soft and we paid £1.20 for one pappadom so expected way more than this. The mutton was chewy and I couldn’t eat the watery sauce it was horrible. I’ve had a lot better from here so I don’t know what happened but I’d like to discuss a refund for the watery curry and the poppadom.

Up there amongst the best we've ever had, a little more expensive than some, but well worth it.

Poor tonight, chicken was chewy in madras & nan was soggy when arrived, missala was far to sweet disappointed as normally spot on 🤔

Food is quality. Bang on time . And delivery driver was as you would expect polite chatty and always a pleasure to open the door too . Great as always.

Took over an hour to arrive. Arrived stone cold. And of poor quality. The meals had barely non existent sauce. So ended up with a plate full of plain rice! Absolutely awful
