Ordered a takeaway its absolutely shocking the prawn on Puri starter you need A magnifying glass to see them I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s like mush I ordered a chicken Jalfrezi I would think Stevie Wonder had prepared the chicken its so small about 5 tiny bits of chicken in the curry the curry was the same texture as the prawn Puri not edible it’s the worst curry I’ve ever had Ate 1 piece of chicken... Its mush texture..

Website says free delivery within 3 miles but we were charged £4 delivery when we are only 1 mile away, driver was very rude about it and had already been over half an hour late making one and a half hours in total. Food was below average at best, never again!

Can’t believe how much I paid for this, dry over cooked naan bread and dry chicken. Stay clear, only ordered from here as spice connection was shut, never again! My family also ordered curries as well as naan breads, there was about 4 bits of chicken in each curry and the naan breads were also not up to standard.

Curry was lovely and note on order was accepted but I ordered a garlic naan and was given a plain naan so money wasted.

Enjoyed Thursday set meal. Excellent quality and service. Will definitely order again very soon

The spicy chips tasted vinegary, didn’t eat them, don’t recommend. Wasn’t the quickest or hottest delivery ever but overall the actual curry was nice, even though mutton could’ve been more tender. Would have it again though, just not the chips.

Absolutely stunning! The food was piping hot when it arrived and tasted unreal! Even the delivery driver was incredibly friendly. Can’t fault this place at all. 10/10.

Ordered food at 5.10pm and didn't arrive till 7pm. The curry had leaked everywhere poppadoms were stale and the massive potato in the curry was not cooked through. Everything went in the bin. The driver was so late then called me to ask where to go because he clearly didn't read the road signs and door number at this point I could of cooked for myself.

I didn’t receive my order. I called the restaurant twice as my order was already late. Then spoke to the delivery guy, who was lost. I had to be elsewhere by the time the order would be delivered,way past the delivery slot. So no food for me, but they took the money. 🤨

I’ve just eaten food heaven. From first bite too last the food was exceptional.

This isn’t ‘the last days of the Raj’, it would be your last day. I’m sorry, but this isn’t indian food. It was just food colored curry that is not edible. The naan tasted like a spongy cardboard. I wish i was exaggerating, but it was so bad we ordered from another restaurant after taking a bite. I wouldn’t recommend if you have ever tasted Indian food.

Arrived hot, order correct. Delivery driver pleasant. 3 empty plates, would definitely recommend.

Abysmal food. £12 for 6 pieces of tough gristly meat and 2 ladles of soup. Zero authenticity. Zero flavour. Below zero quality. The 2 curry’s were inebible. Biriyani was below average. £10 for 4 cold, stale poppadoms and 4 small pots of thin, tasteless gruel being passed off as pickles is disgraceful. Mixed kebab was a onion bargi and a Keegan sausage normally tandoori chicken and lamb and cold poppadoms cold and stale Keegan nan cold and Keegan tasted fishy bombay aloo so hard couldn't bite into it

Delivered sooner than expected so I was able to get stuck into this gorgeous meal sooner than I thought. A lovely starter and main course of Chicken pathia and veg rice hit the spot. If you love Indian food then you've just gotta give these guys a try.

My first and last experience I’m afraid .Neither me or my husband ate it .It all arrived freezing cold & an hour late . The korma was so sweet it was inedible & the pathia was exactly the same (who eats a sweet pathia) Absolutely dreadful food ,you should be ashamed of yourselves for charging £30 for that

Food arrived on time but the main course consisted of a large container of sauce with only six small pieces of chicken and the naan bread was damp as it was sweating in the paper packaging. The rice and bajis were OK. Will not order from Last Days of the Raj again

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here for about five years and my partner has been coming here since he was a child and we just can’t get enough. It’s always our favourite treat

Food was stunning. By far the best Indian food I've had from any restaurant. Not one part of my order was a let down. Definitely recommend this place. Outstanding!! And also, the girl who delivered my food was beautiful. So that's an added bonus.

Fantastic food ever I had just loved it

Took 3 hours from ordering to delivery, despite it only being 1.5 miles door to door, and the food was cold. Knew there was a 75 - 90 minute delivery time when ordering but actually took 3 hours. Tried ringing the shop on the number provided on Just Eat, no answer. Did answer when we found a number in the local directory. Not a great experience and as such, would not recommend.

This is one of the most friendliest places with the most tasty food I’ve ever had. The lamb korma is amazing, creamy, fresh ! Just yes! We always get it with the garlic nan. Love this place so much, don’t understand any bad reviews as this place is so perfect.

Ordered prawn vindaloo, got beef instead. This was for myself, a vegetarian so it couldn’t be eaten. Ordered a traditional murgh makhani (butter chicken) and a cheap and nasty chicken korma arrived instead! Absolutely appalled that any takeaway would even attempt to pass a chicken korma off as a traditional, authentic butter chicken! Disgraceful!!! REFUND REQUESTED THROUGH JUSTEAT. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!

Nan bread and onion Bhaji was dry and over cooked -

Haven’t received my order, yet it has been listed as delivered. Been ordering from this establishment for over 20 years, have never had any issue’s before. Even at busy periods they would normally contact us to let us know there would be a delay, nothing heard this evening. From what I understand the father, who was a wonderful man that could never do enough for his customers has retired. If this is true and the service he had instilled has dropped to the levels we have currently experienced then our extended families custom to this previously wonderful location will soon end.

Food was amazing as always. One dish more spicy than normal but still delicious. Even told about a privilege card at collection!

Can't remember the last time I had a takeaway from here so I thought I would give it another go. Can order online which was an ok site to use. Thought about using Deliveroo but decided to do a collection instead due to not being able to specify meat on some dishes. The chicken Balti naan wrap was decent. As was the tikka chicken rogan and garlic naan. A decent price with the online discount but I would happily pay a bit more for better quality meat. And I wish they had lamb instead of mutton. Again, happy to pay for lamb. A low price isn't everything. Will likely use again if I want quick, quite tasty and chicken based.

Missing popadoms we paid for, which is a let down. Aside from that, food smells amazing and looking forward to tucking in.

Despite the wait for delivery the food was delicious and varied.

Excellent service and food wow ldr hasn’t changed since 1992 when I was 16 and going to Gateshead college same quality and service as you would expect!!! Well done food was exceptionally delicious and hot I opted for the dansak mild and was beautiful and the peshwari nann was out of this world. Very glad you now deliver well done!!!!will be definitely ordering food from you again soon!!!!

first order from here my rundown of order mixed kebab very poor onion bhaji burnt and dry, half tandoori chicken poor for £7.95p very poor value, beef phal good, veg bhaji good, lemon rice good, tandoori keema rice good, all in all not very good value better Indians out there i would not recommend this Indian MARKS OUT OF 10 I CAN ONLY GIVE 4😒🤦‍♀️

Outstanding. Arrived quickly still piping hot, nothing missing. Each dish full of flavour, the meats cooked beautifully and the ingredients fresh and crisp. Haven’t eaten here in years but after that performance it’s now the new favourite with this household.

Ordered takeout when arrived cartons had burst open & spilled all in the bottom of the bag. Phoned to complain was very abrupt & would not admit it was there fault. Took photo to proof. Waste of money went straight in the bin.
