Food was very nice, arrived earlier than estimated and very hot!

at 9:30pm on Saturday 3rd of may i purchased £30.00 worth of food from the restaurant i was waiting for over an hour and decided to call them up, i was assured by the staff that my food was on the way. at 10:53pm it said on just eat my food had been delivered and it had not i have since rung but it said they had closed and nobody answered the phone

Food was too salty, spicy wings not spicy, chips were rubbery. Gone downhill fast.

my food never turned up at my house even after the app said it had been delivered i spent £30 pounds and its gone to waste even after i have rung the restaurant over 5 times they are not answering my calls and are ignoring me i will be going there in the morning this was posted on Saturday 3rd of may at 11:02pm

the food is really good,huge pieces of meat, I recommend it!, but the delivery time is very long we waited 1.5 hours

Very disappointed with my order this evening. An hour and twenty minutes late. No apology. Food cold, bun hard and chicken dry. Basically one meal was inedible. We have ordered from here often and usually never have a problem. This time however was awful.

Ordered via UberEats. Turned up over an hour late, by which time we'd got fish and chips. They don't answer their phone and their voicemail is full. Food is nothing special. Will never use again.

I normally order from here but last night the wait time /communication was not at its best. The chips were cold and soggy

Great food but the service from the staff is so poor, they are so rude and it seems they don’t know what they’re doing. They never stick to delivery time either. Only reason I still use this shop is because the food is good. Owner needs to discuss this with his staff or they will continue losing loyal customers due to poor choice of staff.

After waiting for more than an hour I called the restaurant and the staff was really rude. He told me that he is cooking the chicken literally after more than 1 hour of wait. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I hang up the call and waited again for almost an hour, till now I haven’t received my order. The worst place I have ever orderd.

An absolute lying idiots I will never use them again

I was tracking my order and the delivery time got down to 4mins and then nothing for 15mins after. I called them too and the person asked me to wait 5 more minutes.

They didn't want to give me the pieces of chicken of my choice and told me I had to pay extra for the privilege. Chicken was very salty. Fries portions are small. Kids meal advertises Robinson fruit shoot but you get a cheap fruit blast version from aldi/lidl

Never received our litre bottle of Pepsi or the 2 cans that all come with the meal deal. The man said “if he can he will send” and we never received! Also the ribs meal is NOT worth £8.99. And the chips were hard.

first of all had to call the shop beacuse it said my order had been delivered when it had not then when it arrived 20 mins later stuff was missing from the order called the shop phone was put down on me still don't know if I'm getting this missing item

By far the best chicken shop iv ever had and such great value for money beats the leading chicken shop kfc hands down

There was a chickens head in my dinner in not at all impressed! Not sure about but i dont like chicken heads in my childs dinner.

Was supposed to open hours ago but still closed at 1.30pm been told by staff 10 mins till open 3 times 15 mins apart so far and still waiting

Thought I would have a chicken lunch last Sunday 13th and 20th October arrived at 12.15pm and it was shut? But their website says open at 11am? This is not the first time they didn't open on time. Not brilliant or professional 😕 Go to KFC at least their opening times are correct.

Insane chicken!! Better than KFC in my opinion We came back to the area 6 hr drive away and couldn't resist another trip to big dees Sitting by the sea with my chicken what more could I want? 😆

think we found the best chicken place in town. love the food tonight very filling. just wish there was a way to say no salad on the kids burger. we all gave it a 10 out of 10 we will be back 😁

Ordered delivery, took an hour more than the expected time frame (19:35-19:55). Rang the shop at around 8.20 to enquire when our food would arrive as it said it had been out for delivery since 19.55 and it’s a 9 minute journey between my home and the shop, the woman who answered (presumably the manager) had an attitude throughout the call and said it had only left 5 minutes ago (so why had it been marked as out for delivery 25 minutes ago?) then hung up the call when my boyfriend questioned this. Wrong drinks were sent and food is just like kfc standard (except kfc would’ve arrived faster) wouldn’t waste over an hour waiting for it when kfc would take 20 mins.

Food was a hour late arriving. Restaurant only a 9 min drive from my house, and was marked on Uber eats as heading my way for half an hour. Called the restaurant, was told the driver had only left 5 minutes ago? Was also spoke to rudely by the female worker who answered the phone, and she hung up on my boyfriend mid conversation. I work in customer service, and this isn’t how a business should be run.

Chips are hot and crisp. Chicken strips crunchy and not greasy. Best takeaway I’ve had in ages!

Only had delivery so can't give feedback on atmosphere. Great quality food. Food was hot ,burger bun toasted but still soft. Fries were crisp & clean . Speedy delivery. A lot for your money. Would highly recommed 👌

Delivery was a bit slower than expected but the food was worth the wait and the milkshakes are to die for!

KFC only wishes it was as good as big dee's. Unlike nearly every other takeaway, these guys do the basics right, it's hot, it's fresh and it's tasty.

Food was hot, chips were lovely as always but felt my bbq chicken in my burger was the days before and had either been reheated or been put in the deep fryer again as it was very dry and edges were very hard and chewy. A little disappointed.

horrible customer service my food arrived 2 hours late and the food was cold we asked the driver why it took so long and he said he starts at 5 no where on their website or uber eats does it say my order will be delivered after 5 and my order was due to come at 4:15 i called three times and every time they were rude and said my food was 5 minutes away

Ordered on just eat. Took over hour and half .I called they said ready. Then got message to say restaurant cancelled order. Called big dees they said we cancelled it. Restaurant is ridiculous. So hour and half wait and no food at all. They just said they too busy and we cancelled it which we didn't. Will never use again

Arrived 30 minutes late and cold. It was a Friday, but order placed at 6.30 so didn’t think they’d be really busy. Probably need more staff at busy times. We microwaved it but we all know how unpleasant microwaved chips can be, but we were hungry. Only used this place about four times and this is the second time this has happened, other times the food has been very tasty and on time. Guess it’s pot luck

Have ordered from Big Dee's several times now. Food is always piping hot, tasty succulent chicken, milkshakes are delicious & food is always delivered on time. Much better than KFC for quality & value. Highly recommend.

Order from here quite a bit. Usually they're great and the foods always good, unfortunately this time it turned up 2 hours after I ordered, it was supposed to be 45 minutes. Food was still good though.

Please don't deliver my order it's and hour late and I've ordered from elsewhere now. Every time I give this place another chance it ruins it. Quite possibly the worst takeaway in the country

My new favourite place, amazing service - They have their own delivery driver who delivers to your front door! (unlike justeat drivers). 3 orders in and every time its been on time, or early. Food is always piping hot. Food quality is excellent, everything tastes like it is freshly cooked, (no re-cooking). And the prices are amazing compared to most other takeaways. Thank you so much for taking such pride in your food & service, it is highly valued.
