Visited today first time for a while as I was disappointed on my last visit but thought that might have been a one off, but today I had over cooked sausages tomatoes luke warm and mushrooms not completely cooked...and if your going to offer crusty bread on a sunday make sure its fresh not the dry ends of a loaf. I doubt I'll go back again as for over £7 its expensive to not enjoy and have to leave some.

El hijo vive cerca y me llevó a mi esposa y a mí aquí para un almuerzo rápido. Es una auténtica cafetería, excelente comida honesta a precios diarios. Desayunos, además de una gama de ofertas especiales. El Bubble and Squeak es maravillosamente sabroso, los desayunos son abundantes y el moussaka, el arroz y la ensalada más de lo que mi esposa podía comer, pero delicioso, lo mejor que ha tenido. All the favourites, cooked well. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a varied menu. Valuable local assett.

Great place to have breakfast. I use to go here with my husband and is a nice place where you can have a full English breakfast with a few money.

We've been here a few times now and I have a huge soft spot for this café. I feel like it's a bit of a step up from the classic greasy spoon. You get table service rather than having to order at the counter which is a lovely touch. The food is exactly what it needs to be for the price and there's a lot of choice. You can get all kinds of additions to breakfasts if the menu doesn't have exactly what you're looking for and there are lots of different choices of non-breakfast hot meals. The staff are so so friendly and chatty which I think is why I'm such a fan of this place. We always leave with full tummies and smiles on our faces :)

everyone loves a good full English. A bang-on bargain too. I really enjoy coming here as a regular to get my fix of eggs, baked beans, fried bread, sausage and bacon. You can get different levels of breakfast according to your needs. Comes with a tea or coffee as well! Absolutely brilliant!

Had a lovely breakfast. There is even good breakfast choice for vegetarians and they serve soya milk. Good size breakfasts with incredibly friendly service! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We had an enjoyable lunch at the Big Breakfast café on the 12th. February. The café was basic but clean and warm. The menu was quite large with simple, inexpensive, unpretentious, British café favourites. Personally, I enjoy plainer food at times and was pleased to find that my cheese baguette was not spoilt by garnishes that can sometimes overpower the flavour of the main ingredients. It was nice to see some traditional items on the menu – the spotted dick and custard was ideal for a cold, damp day. Service was pleasant and efficient. There are separate ladies and gents toilets at the back of the café down a set of steps. If I was in the area again and wanted a quick inexpensive lunch it is likely that I would return to this café.

Miejsce idealne aby spróbować typowego angielskiego śniadania. Porcje są ogromne w bardzo przystępnej cenie. Śniadanie z kawa w zestawie można dostać już w cenie o 5-8 funtów. Obsługiwała nas bardzo miła starsza pani. Na podanie posilku nie trzeba było czekać długo. W porze śniadaniowej, przynajmniej w niedziele sporo ludzi. Wnętrze i klimat restauracji sprawia wrażenie bardzo rodzinnego. Gorąco polecam.

Well its no frills if that's what you want! For a pound or two more there are much cleaner and better places close by. I waited ages to be served then the wrong food came and the young woman got really short with me until...

Love the BYO breakfast. Good post hangover at weekends, reasonably priced and does a proper mug of tea
