Biddys Burger Bar in Taunton Deane

Stopped off here for a coffee before our swim. It's was really busy, even so the service was quick, great and the best value around. It's always a nostalgic visit for me, having come here as a kid with my parents, I love that it still looks the same. If it ain't broke!

Excellent mini breakfast served in 5 minutes

Great place for friendly staff that remember the drink you had last time and bring it to you just after you sit down. It's a diner, so expect what you would from one. Food is typical of a diner. Honest and good diner food at a very good price. Can eat there for £10 for 2 people.

This place has not changed in over a decade. A solid cafe fry up with a warm welcome in an old school vibe.

Proper oldschool 'greasy spoon', cheap, cheerful and staff are very friendly. Cleanest greasy spoon cafe I've ever been to. Granted it's not fine dining however the food's good -- my only suggestion is I wish they'd butter the burger buns. Rapid service too, food came piping hot within 10 mins of ordering. Going in here is like stepping back in time, the sort of place your Nan would take you as a kid. 10/10 Edit: I went for the half pounder burger meal but didn't want side salad, so the waitress asked if I wanted beans in lieu free of charge, you don't get service this good in Mcdonalds

Omelettes are made to your liking with various fillings of your choice or an all day breakfast of varying sizes or maybe a veggie breakfast or brunch there's so much to choose from.

Will come again, Food and service was super quick, hot, not greasy at all. Great price and one of the best eggs, bacon, beans and fried slice i’ve had in a restaurant in ages.

This is a relaxed place to eat, the food is good, home cooked meals that are tasty. The staff are very friendly and as regulars will remember what you ordered. We use Biddy's at least once a week and the staff know us, we are like one big happy family.

A good ole English breakfast. Friendly staff. And a kind of feel like home feeling. Not many cafes around like this. Absolutely love it. 💪

Last of the greasy spoons era. You pay for what you get.. no high prices but ingredients reflect honestly to the prices... oh and its not greasy, that was just a term. Recommend if your hungry, working, or ski nt. I personally have been eating there for nearly two decades.

Great little traditional cafe. Really appreciated finding this open early in the morning for a hearty breakfast before I set off on my walks whilst staying in Taunton.

Had a sausage, bacon and egg bap absolutely disgusting egg was cold ,asked for crispy bacon didn't get it lots of fat on which i cannot eat hence why I asked for crispy will not be going there ever again

Fab simple breakfast. Bigger breakfasts available. Open early on Saturday morning which was great and is about 5 - 10 mins from train station.

I had an all day breakfast & 2 latte's, it was very nice enjoyed it alot, & the price was reasonable too.....oh I also had a banana split very yummy 😋 will deffo be going there again, well worth the money & the staff are very nice, friendly but not in your space 😁 really enjoyed it x

What a fantastic “real” cafe. We ordered the mega breakfast as we were hungry. It really didn’t disappoint us. One of the nicest breakfasts I’ve ever had in recent times. We will be back. Great staff too! Enjoyed muchly.

I go here for breakfast some Saturday mornings. Full English, low price, big meal. Early in the morning there are few people eating there. They don't accept card payments but there is an ATM nearby if you don't have cash.

Imaging visiting a Wimpy Bar back in 1970, which is what this place reminds me of. In fact I would not be surprised if it once was a Wimpy.It is great for breakfasts and all day food and reasonably priced too. I’m going to be picky now, but for me, who ever made the tea made it weak, the tea bag must have been in and out the cup in a flash and to make the tea look strong a small amount of milk was added. The tea bag needed to be brewed in the cup. But apart from that, pleasant staff and a good cooked breakfast. There is parking over the road at around £1.20 an hour, I think. 2019 prices.
