We booked a table for Sunday lunch with a group of friends and it didn’t not disappoint! One of the best vegan roasts I’ve ever had- absolutely delicious! The meat eaters were very impressed too. Nice atmosphere, good service and great selection of drinks. Can’t wait to go back :)

Accidentally made our booking for a different day but the staff were very nice about it and managed to find a table for us. The Sunday roasts were amazing, all tasted homecooked and fresh. Very impressed with the drinks range too. I am not drinking and they had a tonne of interesting alcohol free beers, kombucha etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If we're in the area again we'd definitely return.

So I have worked in this industry for 17 years for 2 of the largest pub companies in the UK. I came to this pub because my friend is having here birthday here, they do not take cash and I said f&£) sake of course you don’t and was asked to leave which I did. I know some places don’t take cash but this place is in Bethnal Green not the west end. I am tied of pretentious places opening in working parts of London yet still think they won’t here the occasional swear word. Simple answer take cash The two other pubs I went to both took money.

One of my locals. Delighted that it seems to have survived coming in and out of all the lockdowns. Went early Saturday evening and there was a really vibrant atmosphere inside and outside under the heaters. Always a good selection of beers and the cocktails looked pretty decent too. My favourite thing though is probably the mix of people from students to older drinkers. It also feels very LGBT friendly, which you’d expect in Bethnal Green, but great to see nonetheless.

This was the first pub I visited after the latest lockdown and being back was even better than I anticipated. This was thanks to the friendliness, attentiveness and efficiency of the lovely staff. The beer selection is great, the food was delicious, and they let us bring the dog into the garden too!

Had a particularly delicious Krapow tonight (minced pork, chili, rice, basil). Will definitely be back very soon for the food. Beer and drinks as expected for a London pub but the food made it special for me.

First time here since it was a W-spoons. Sat outside under some well needed heaters. A great range of beer served by friendly staff. Will return - when everything re-opens.

I've been twice since lock down ended and have enjoyed both visits. The garden is lovely and chilled with well-spaced tables and the beer list is good. The take away beer options are also great value with 2 litres priced at £10 for bitter and from memory, around £17-£18 for the more expensive IPAs.

It's never nice to see any business fold but the writing was on the wall as soon as they tried to make a hipster pub in Bethnal Green. They got rid of the oaps who relied on a cheap pint and a local chat by putting up the prices and selling dreadful ales to try and make money quick in this part of london. Decor was good but with no sports, crazy prices it lacked everything. I knew it wouldn't last. Let's hope who takes it over brings it back to its former life with a few exceptions. Keep the hipsters out and you make money. Good luck

So this has been a fantastic place since the refurbishment, great staff and more importantly some really great local people to meet, weather on your own, in a group or as a couple. Absolutely gutted it’s changing hands, let’s hope the new people make this as great and don’t try and fix something that just wasn’t broken, also let’s hope it doesn’t end up like it was before!! Fingers crossed the new team make it awesome.

This place had an outdoor seating area for a Sunday evening G&T. Friendly, no queues and later a live band played which was great fun :)

This pub has a great menu (specially on Sunday with delicious Sunday roasts including vegan ones) and very lovely staff. Perfect location not far from the flower market, brick lane and the museum of childhood and nice prices - the roasts are so generous that you can share them with someone.

Spruced up former Wetherspoons. But if you’re going to sell cask ale, have staff that realise when a pint is off.

Fair prices, good service, no regrets. We spend here parts of our holidays and always had a good time, would always recommend.

This was my first time here and I felt welcome as soon as I entered, staff talk to you like they're your friend. The beer garden is great for the summer and they have a wide selection of beers and spirits. Highly recommend this place!
