Best Western Clifton Hotel in Shepway

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. We had a lovely room. Everything is a bit on a quirky slant when walking to the hotel rooms but overall we will stay again. We enjoyed it.

Fabulous afternoon tea at this hotel

Lovely weekend spent with family celebrating my Mums birthday. Shared a twin room with my sister. Our room was lovely, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We had drinks and lunch in the bar and then an evening meal in the restaurant followed by breakfast the next day. All the food was excellent, with plenty of choice on the menu. The staff were excellent and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely relaxing stay, and we will definitely be back, a great place to stay.

It is extremely rare to find a hotel in the UK with such well-maintained and beautifully renovated facilities. I've been here in the UK many times, but in my opinion this is one of the best hotels here.

Only used when attending a monthly meeting. Much improved by recent IHG ownership. Lovely interiors. Ideal for long walks on the famous Folkestone Leas high above the North Sea. Walking distance from town

This establishment is top drawer in every department with brilliant staff.

I took this place because it had great reviews. The room was quaint and clean. I could hear every neighbour when they either left or came home. The walls are paper thin. The service was very nice. I had a great view. So I guess it depends what is more important sleep or the view.

Nice hotel. Very clean room. Super welcoming restaurant staff. On the other hand, that of reception. He will have to be more careful in his manner.... (for me he is just disrespectful..) Hotel parking on the road opposite at an additional cost of £5/day.

Seniors lunch absolutely delicious. Excellent value and such attentive service. Cannot fault this restaurant, never fails to impress us.

Yet again the delightful Clifton Hotel didn't disappoint ! In the midst of an upgrade the newly revamped bedrooms are a treat. Classy and bright. The reception is beautiful and opulent and very well maintained. Philippa on the desk at checkout was a real gem, super professional and helpful. We had a meal in the Marco Pierre White restaurant which was delicious and great value. Very pleased with our break and would highly recommend it for a stay in Folkestone, already planning our next visit.

Just got back from three days at the B/W Clifton, it's in the middle of being refurbished which did not bother us at all, always have a great time in Folkestone and this hotel is one of the best there.
