Food was delicious as always, but one of the curries delivered to us was wrong - we ordered a green tikka masala but got a regular one instead. That was disappointing as the green tikka masala is my kids’ favourite!

I recently tried a takeaway from this family-run Bengal cuisine restaurant, and it was excellent. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out — you can taste the quality in every dish. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, with each dish cooked to perfection. Portions were generous, and everything from the curries to the starters was packed with flavor. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious, fresh Indian food. Thank you!

chicken was old ( as if reheated) chewy! Had upset tummy last two days) despite not eating the chicken (must have been in the sauce) Would never order from there again. (delivery person looked disgusting; like on the Indian food videos fb; dirty and dishevelled) put me off before I started!

Nice shop, welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. Staff on phone were able to accommodate an item not listed on the menu. So thanks for that. Madras was good, although tikka masala lacked flavour. Would try different dish next time.

Sunny lunch had a looooovely bolognese here with my family. Service was excellent, thanks to Moni, she was so lovely and accommodating!

We decided to visit the Station pub as it is our closest pub on foot. We booked a table to eat for 7:00. Although it wasn’t very busy we were given a table right by the side of the bar which unfortunately meant that as one of the staff passed us whilst clearing another table my jacket got a big lump of mayonnaise. Luckily it was a leather jacket. Accidents happen and I didn’t mention this to the staff. We ordered fish and chips and asked if we could possibly have a green salad instead of the mushy peas and we were told it wasn’t a problem and yes we could. When the fish and chips arrived it was fine, nothing to complain about there. However the salad portions were served in extremely small pots, presumably the ones used for the mushy peas. By the third mouthful we had no salad left and ordered more salad which arrived at the end of our meal and for which we were charged. I would have preferred to be told that salad could not be served with our meal. Having said that my main issue with our evening at the Station was that although it was not busy at all when we arrived it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, by then we were halfway through our second drink. I wonder if the wait was deliberate to ensure we would have another drink. An altogether rather disappointing experience and the bill came to £48.73.

What a beautiful well thought out pub reminds me of classic classy boozers in london to where I was born, staff very well trained couldn't be more help full. What let it down was the food Sunday lunch potatoes not cooked hard in the middle had the lamb now I know it can be fatty but half of it was fat very disappointed my partner had the beef unfortunately no steak knifes provided couldn't cut the meat side Oder of veg the pumpkin well under cooked could not eat Now I know I should have complained at the time but the staff catered to our every wim we asked for more jus (thin gravey) which was return with speed one for beef and one for lamb Now I know they want to be a cut above the rest and my god with the deco and staff you have got that with out a doubt but Sunday lunch I could have got that for half the price and better and not paid £21.00 for a very standard bottle of wine sorry but the food doesn't match the pub but I hopefully this will Improve a very close friend of mine whom owns several businesses in Brighton felt the same. Lamb was chewy, sag ponir a bit tasteless I’m afraid.

We use this restaurant a lot as it our go to curry house and we are loyal. We have had issues in the past but this time it was shocking, not good at all. The fish curry was horrible, like mush, the brinjal bhaji wasn’t cooked and inedible, the bread was rubbery, the popodums soggy and all the food cold. I tried numerous times to call to let them know but no answer. Hugely disappointed as it is not the first time we’ve had to complain and am seriously thinking of looking elsewhere.

I didn't like their nan bread or Popadom, nan bread was not soft, popadom was not crispy.

WHEN I CALLED THE RESTAURANT THE IDIOT RESPONDED BY SAYING IF THAT'S WHAT HE SAID THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT AND LAUGHED! JUST EAT IS JUST AS USELESS WITH TRYING TO CONTACT THEM TO SORT IT OUT. I WILL NEVER USE THIS RESTAURANT OR JUST EAT AGAIN AFTER THIS, IT'S ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND NOT ACCEPTABLE! Food was fabulous but some items were cold such as starters, perhaps delivery too slow.

I’ve generally been a bit disappointed with most Indian/Bengali takeaway. Until now. The Tandoori chicken starter is fabulous as is the chicken Teaka balti and the Dall is great as well. In fact everything we’ve had from here has been delicious and I can highly recommend the place. Great value and good service too and very enjoyable food. You can’t really go wrong. Top marks. Green masala was absolutely delicious! Aloo chop was disappointing though - 4 bits of mushy/boiled potato in a yellow, very watery soup-like sauce! Perhaps this was my mistake as I had thought that aloo chop was meant to be potato fritters i.e. crispy? Regardless, overall we enjoyed our food and we will definitely order again from here - thank you. A heads up to order poppadoms if you want them as they didn't include any with our food.

I use Bengal cuisine regularly and from my experience it's consistently great. Fresh, hot, tasty, authentic, fresh ingredients , great value for money, friendly staff and always quick delivery. Satisfaction every time. Thank you Bengal cuisine!

The food turned up about 5 or 6 minutes earlier than the quoted time but obviously I don't consider that to be a problem at all...in fact the complete opposite :) I have been buying take away curry from the Bengal Cuisine for a long time now and I have never once had cause to complain. The food is always fresh and hot (which is great because I must live a good couple of miles away from the restaurant) at a very reasonable price. The order always turns up on time or sometimes a tiny bit early - what's not to like. Order and enjoy :)

Magic mushrooms were delicious but very small and only 6 for the price. Samosas and bhajis were great. Curries were a little too sweet and under-salted. Daal was a little too salty, though still very tasty. Overall not amazing but good for the price

can't understand how a delivery could turn up so wrong. ordered a chicken korma and it came as a vegetable one and also ordered a chicken tikka starter which came as prawns. won't be using this service again

The mint sauce recipe supplied with the meal has been changed from green which is what we have been used too for some years to a sand colour. It no longer looks or smells like mint sauce so we decided not to use it. The restaurant simply said they had changed its colour!

I’ve been using Bengal cuisine for many years,Order this evening was Terrible Totally cold upon receipt,Chicken was Dry such a pity, Tried to Fob me off!! I will not be using this takeaway ever again you have lost a good customer pit!!!!
