Bit of a cavernous feel to place with dinner hall table layout. Defo has the feel of a hostel boozer but without the hostel prices. Decent enough place to pass an hour but probably not a main destination.

Went to watch the City game. There were tons of people on a Saturday night. Typical sports bar.

I wasn't that impressed. There's a tonne of screens in there but it was very overly busy. They shouldn't allow table bookings either. Virtually all tables were booked and staff began kicking people off 15-20 minutes before the booking began. It made no sense.

We kind of wandered in here on our first night in Edinburgh, looking for some food after a day of traveling and were pleasantly surprised. They make a mean cocktail & food was delicious for a weary traveller such as ourselves. Ordering and paying was easy, through a QR code. Would definitely recommend

Fun atmosphere and nice service but completely confused by the gluten free options - they offer a gluten free bun for their burgers but the patty itself has wheat flower added. Not sure what the point of offering a gluten free bun is if I still can't order a burger. Additionally, the only other gluten free option is the fries with hash browns and cheese sauce... Would be really nice to see a more inclusive menu.

Pizza didn't have any taste. Service was very poor.

Great Staff, Professional service, Good affordable food and drinks at the bar. Well done! I would highly recommend this place. The most comfortable hostel I have stayed in as of yet. Great location, it's clean and welcoming.

Was mediocre all around. The food was OK but not worth the ten quid per small dish. Supposed to be Blackpool's biggest and nest, well not too sure about the biggest but it's the one that me, my kids and partner liked the most. Not even 2nd best. I highly recommend The Golden Mile across from it as we had the best time there. Arcades are all there during the week to do after a certain time until 9 pm, then all is closed.

Such a bad time unfortunately. We went because the hostel offered 25% off but when you walk in, you are not greeted, and the only way to place an order is through your phone. it was incredibly unwelcoming and then since everything was done through the phone, we didn’t get our discount. The food was unfortunately really bland. Nothing unique about the vibes either. Would absolutely go elsewhere

Absolute rip off...£18.80 for two Kraken and draught cola...even bar tender was shocked

Absolute disgrace of a service.I called up an hour before arrival to ask if kidscwherevallowed in which I was told yes if they where eating.Arrived and paid the extortionate parking in the city centre to then be told by someone who claimed to be the manager Scott at the bar that they have just decided tonight they weren't allowed kids in due to the football being on.Dont know why that matters as it's a sports bar and we as a family only wanted to eat.Very ignorant and couldn't care less that I was advised I could bring my kid along.Will not be returning

Pre called up Edinburgh branch before turning up to double check kids were allowed in. Answer was yes to 8 o'clock. Arrived around 530pm 3ads 1child . Once seated was advised that kids were not allowed in. When I asked Scott who claimed to be the manager why and that we had pre called up. His reply was because there was football on. Which I would expect for being a sports bar. Kids were only allowed in with the acceptance of eating food, which I advised we were eating. He then replied he just decided kids weren't allowed in as he can't look after them. Which I wouldn't expect anyone to look after my child. Plus he would be sitting eating. His reply was he just decided that tonight no kids would be allowed him. I find this totally unacceptable and just rude. After just paying for city centre parking I think this is totally unacceptable attitude to have towards customers

Sports bar with staff that ignored us when we wanted to ask a question they was only interested in watching the tv’s, food however was lovely

Eine so schlechte Bewertung konnte ich noch nie abgeben. Der Service was grauenvoll. Wir bestellten Drinks, was aber als Familie nicht reichte. Nach 15 Minuten muss man das Restaurant verlassen. Wir hätten noch einen Snack bestellt, das war aber nicht genug. So wurden wir tatsächlich quasi rausgeworfen. Kein Wunder war der Laden leer!

It's not very welcoming, staff are all arrogant and greedy/disrespectful. Would not suggest to go there if you're willing to have a good time otherwise you'll ruin it.

Called in for refreshments the gentleman behind the bar kindly pointed us to Jake’s across the road, unsure what the food was like as didn’t have the opportunity to look at the menu. Had lovely food at Jake’s opposite atmosphere was non existent as only 1 person there. Jake’s however was very busy. Great customer service however poor business sense.

One of the best Buffalo chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had! Presentation was there as well as the setup of the burger!

Amazing bar! It’s near my work and I go all the time for after work drinks, it’s great. Fab staff, fab food and many a fun night had here!

Service was basically non existent; ended up ordering over the QR-codes and it still took half an hour just to get a pint of beer. There was only one server at the bar, the others seemingly disappeared in the back. My second shandy had a chlorine taste to it, which I've never experienced before. The wings were good but way too drenched in oil, which made them uneatable after some time (couldn't eat that fast since I couldnt reorder drinks!)

In a group? Want to watch sport? This is the place. Every seat has a view of a telly. Prioritises rugby over football.

Great portions and good discounts for hostel guests

We had our breakfast here which we bought with our stay at St. Christopher hostel. With in 6 bucks, it was good.

Used to be a really cheap nice place to drink when they were located exactly across the street. It was below a hostel or omething so prices were really hood for Edinburgh (I'm an Edinburgh local) since moving directly across the street I'm quite disappointed. It seems they have put around £3 on the price of everything!! Beers, spirits and cocktails!! Atmosphere is nice and staff are still nice

Belushi's is a good cornerstone for an affordable drink and good food. It has food deals throughout the week (rare in Edinburgh) and a fairly average price range on drinks, for a city centre pub. The location is perfect if you have a train to catch or just want to keep central. Only downside is if you're not into sport. It is very much programmed for watching sports. But generally with lots of screens not the audio.

I visited Belushi's for the first time on a night out with friends. I enjoyed the visit as there was a good selection of beer as well as a good vibe. There were plenty of screens on which to watch the sport. We didn't have any food so I can't comment on that.

1 ster, ballentent. We were looking forward to bottomless wings on Wednesday but we couldn't order them anymore. We even got there early so we were all annoyed that they ran out of the food they're promoting on the menu. At least the drinks are quite cheap

👎They got our order wrong, and didn't offer to rectify it. The food took ages to come out, the portions and burger sizes were very small, especially considering the price. We won't be going back. There was six in our party, so they had a good bit of money off us!

Football the way it should be. Opposing fans supporting their teams and having a laugh. Nice pints of Guinness, too!

Great bar to visit if you are staying at the St Christopher Inn. It is right across the street from it, with lots of spaces and great selection of drinks. They also have live music on most nights!

We had some nice burgers here and cider. It has good prices with the hostel discount. There is live music almost every night.

Me and a bunch of work mates went here on the 29th to celebrate the leap year (we all wore frog hats), Belushi's put on some fun tasks and some good food/drinks promo's and some music. Was a great night and the staff were super friendly and helpful!

Good breakfast and lots of entertainment and discounts for students and residents of St Christopher's hostel. Only downside, TVs all around the room which are a little distracting.

Fantastic sports bar. Really well laid out comfy seating and staff very friendly Spent several hours across a few days each day during our visit to the city and the drink choices and daily meal deals were fantastic will defo be back in future

The worse sports bar ever. Bought alcohol and food and the manager wouldn’t put the sound in for the match. Hardly anyone in the bar. At least 6 of us wanted to watch the match. Absolutely appalling and will never return. Take out money and advertise as a sports bar but left the music on.

Poor. Supposed to open at 11 am, but they tell you they are not open after you walk in and tell you to come back in about half an hour. Went elsewhere.

Gluten intolerant/Celiac sufferers please do not eat here. It states on their menu and was confirmed when the food order was placed that the preparation and cooking area was separate from main facilities. My wife was up all night and spent the day in bed and we have had to cut our stay in Edinburgh short and leave early. This is a common problem we have encountered with restaurant chains as they don’t understand the concept of cross contamination whereas small independent eateries do.

They enable men who treat women like garbage. Men in the hostel rooms are feeling themselves in front of women(this is multiple women accounts) and the staff do NOTHING about it. Awful service, awful management. If you’re a woman and you want to be safe I wouldn’t go here.

Cercavamo un posto dove mangiare e bere, siamo stati attratti dalla musica live, ma purtroppo la cucina aveva già chiuso. Abbiamo ordinato due birre al bancone, e dopo aver ascoltato il gruppo che quella sera suonava siamo andati via. Carino l’ambiente, le lampade al soffitto sono fatte con le batterie e i piatti.

Staff member who served us was a bit miffed when we asked what white wine they had. Poor form in my opinion.

Called in for drinks before going to the station…. No body was clearing tables and so we had to sit at a table covered in the previous customers leftovers. Yuk!

A great pub! The service was great, the offer was large and the prices reasonable. We are musicians and love the interior design there! We've never seen drums turned into lamps before! So beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't eat there. Next time!

Good place to dine while watching sports, they simultaneously broadcast different sporting events. However, the quality of the food is not the best in the city.

The hostel is connected to this restaurant/bar. The basic continental breakfast is very reasonable. Excellent selection, with the exception of the croissant. Breakfast is best eaten early in the morning before everyone else arrives. You can pick some privacy on the seat with the partition and get some work done before the frantic day begins.

Only spent a few days in Edinburgh but had to come back to Belushi's every night. Friendly staff, great beer selection and amazing wings.

We always use your Newquay venue and were pleased to see your Edinburgh one was right next to the railway station when we were there on Sunday. We therefore chose to delay our train back home to watch the 2pm kick off with you. On arrival there were tables booked for a large party at 4pm, which was fine as the 2pm game would have finished by then, so we settled on one of the tables and purchased drinks and food. At 3pm we were told the large party had called to say they would be arriving early at 3:30pm. We were asked to vacate the tables early because of this and when we asked if you were being serious, you said yes ! We chose Belushi’s because of our brand loyalty from Newquay experiences and because the table booking was advertised from 4pm and worked for our timings. To be moved (essentially asked to leave as there were no other tables available) half way through the second half was extremely disappointing and very poor on your part to say the least. A few other customers on other tables experienced the same. A more appropriate approach would have been to let the large incoming group know that there were a few customers finishing of their drinks but some tables that they had booked for 4pm were immediately ready. As I say, very disappointing and poor from yourselves.

After having a really bad experience trying to watch the advertised NFL games at the Golf Tavern but being refused despite booking ahead etc, we came to Belushi's and had a great experience. Multiple sports being shown on screens around the pub, all patrons catered for, helpful and friendly staff. This is a great option for a sports bar in Edinburgh. Golf Tavern take note!

Food was decent to be fair and the atmosphere in the place was really good, friendly. Service horrific and really let the place down. I've no intention of going back because of this. Maybe in a few months to see if the staff have improved but it was really off putting.

We were finishing a day-trip of exploring Edinburgh. Belushi’s was on our way back to the Waverly train station. We are a senior couple but that made no difference in being seated or served. Drinks came quickly followed by our meals. Good food at the end of an adventurous day.

Visited on Sunday 15th October to watch Norway v Spain to see Scotland qualify for Germany 2024. Despite a number of customers requesting to view and in excess of 8 TV's, the staff refused to put it on. A sports bar in the heart of Edinburgh , Scotland - unbelievable !

Went to watch the NFL today sunday 15th, great selection of beers on tap. And the loaded fries were the perfect combo! Service was quick and superb!

It's always disconcerting when you order food then you see someone in the kitchen smelling and prodding something in a tub and then calling someone else over to do the same. It might have been my haggis which didn't smell like haggis so I didn't touch it. Like the decor and sports tv's.

I went for the now historical Fiji v Portugal RWC 23 had an amazing time, despite the next day having a payment mix up which Scott very professionally, courteously and painstakingly solved my problem for me. Thanks again for the great service, I owe you sir. Cheers and keep it up.

Came for the football games. Which was good. Ordered the worst nachos I’ve ever seen. Cold, bbq sauce that didn’t work. Wow. Don’t order the food. Go Chargers!

How have I missed this little gem of a place?? A piece of calm during the busy Edinburgh Festival. Friendly staff, delicious food at fantastic prices. Plenty of TVs for sport viewing. We'll definitely be back!!

Nice little place with a good atmosphere and a bunch of tvs showing multiple sports. Each booth has its own tv and staff will switch between sports channels for you. The only downside is you can't hear any commentary. There's also apparently the option to rent a PS4 in the booths. The food menu is standard fare. Had the chicken wings which were about £30 for 28. A bit high considering how cheap wings are, but they were very nice. Chips were a fiver for a good sized bowl which is a bit steep, but nothing to write home about. Where the bar really let's you down is the price for drinks. £20 for 2 drinks is hilariously overpriced even by Edinburgh standards. Toilet facilities were small and messy too. Overall it's a nice venue offering very basic stuff and it's great for sports, but it's one of the most overpriced for drink in the whole city.

Yes, this indeed a sports bar, offering a pleasant selection of drinks and numerous TVs broadcasting sporting events. However, when it comes to the food, I can only speak from my experience with their burger. Oh my god, those burgers were disappointing! The buns were excessively toasted, resembling burnt coal, while the chicken patty itself tasted like leather. Who in their right mind toasts the buns to such an extent? Perhaps it would have been better if they simply didn't offer burgers at all, as it would have influenced my rating more positively.
