Nice little Italian place, The food is nice but it is nice and has decent flavours. The staff are curious and professional. It is quite expensive, especially with the pastors and the calzones are a little bit small. And a glass of wine is nearly 10.00. I normally go to Italian places with the mindset of being there for a few hours having a some decent wine and having a bit of a platter to eat. But it's just a little bit too expensive for me to be able to do that comfortably. But if you do have a little bit more money in your pocket then it is a nice place to go.

Good service for a party of 12 all served together in a short spa e of time.

I hadn't been here in a number of years but it was still the wonderful food and atmosphere I remember! Very attentive staff and lovely surroundings! My friend and I had a fab time!

Food was freezing cold! Order said it was being delivered at 7:40, drive collect at 7:45 and food didn’t get to us until 8:27 rang to ask where my drink was and was told it was the drivers problem not there!

Only logging this becuase it's the third time in recent weeks a delivery driver has been unable to find Sandford Close on Peachcroft. Tonight he was in Duffield Close, then tried to deliver to number 6 Sandford despite me waiting on the end of my drive.

Really really amazed by the bread which comes with the soup! Absolutely delicious and stunning! Large portion for the pizza and risotto was also just perfect size for me:) my husband and I enjoyed our lunch here very much and would definitely like to try here again🥰

A lovely lunchtime meal for four on Good Friday, one of our party asked for significant changes to a chicken dish which was accomplished easily. Great food, service, intimate atmosphere and will definitely be visiting again.

Went for Mother's Day lunch. Amazing food, lots of choice. Made from scratch so it can be customised according to choice eg no chilli. Brilliant service - we sat for ages chatting after meal and no hurry to get rid of us. Will definitely be going again !

Always looks nice from the outside. Nice atmosphere, service and food, only down side is the value for money could be better. Pasta dishes were around £14 and there wasn't much pasta. Nearly £10 for a glass of wine makes you pace yourself to only have one during your meal.

Best Italian in Abingdon without a doubt

The food was absolutely delicious and the waitress was very professional.

The food and service were stunning. Best pizza I've had in years but the mussels were stupendous. Loved it. Throw in great service and what an evening!

Customer service great. We were told what were not available even before we placed orders which was very good. I will highly recommend? Work colleagues enjoyed their meals too.

Lovely atmosphere, and food was gorgeous the four of us had a great time. Bethi our waitress ( she was the only waitress) was amazingly helpful. We had starters mains and pudding, all very delicious.

Came here for a quick pick me up after work craving a pizza. There didn't seem to be any other notable options in the area so this place seemed logical.. Being a weeknight and on my own they had no issues seating me. I opted for one of their outdoor seats just outside the entrance as it was a lovely evening. The table was prompty wiped down, menus were provided and my order taken. I very quickly knew what I wanted and that was the olives and calzone. The food took around 20ish minutes but it was worth the wait. The Calzone was plump and the encasing bread was delicious. The filling could've been a bit more loaded with the advertised toppings of chicken and pepperoni but that is a minor complaint as the overall taste was great and it was a very satisfying meal. I didn't see the need to order anything else as the Calzone was filling enough. The service was quick and efficient and they provided me with a whole bottle of tap water to myself which I massively appreciated. What I will say is that the place is a bit pricey @ £15.25 for the calzone but where isn't at the moment? How can restaurants not raise prices without compromising on quality given the apocalyptic econonic climate? So with that in mind, I'm still happy to give it a 5 and would recommend anyone who likes pizza to visit as you won't be dissappointed. I will certainly be coming back for the calzone picante! Update - came back for the Calzone Picante. Shame I can't add more stars to my rating because it was incredible!

I love the food here, really fresh flavours, with a real home cooked feeling. I always try a different main when I go, and I'm never disappointed, delicious. Desserts are also not to be missed! The waiting staff are the fantastic, always happy and helpful and keep with that homely atmosphere. Such a warm beautiful gem of a place! Thank you.

Best Italian I’ve had in the UK.

The pizza wasn't undercooked, but the dough was quite pale and would have benefited from an extra minute in the oven. There was a lot of flour dusting on the bottom too. The toppings tasted good.

Pasta was tasty Clams and spicy sausage worked surprisingly well, nice clean taste of a creamy sauce with occasional kicks. But I personally didn't like the pizza dough or the mozzarella on it.

Continues to be a favourite for family supper. Very welcoming, but not oppressive service.

My partner had the pizza and I had a calzone. The dough was so light and crispy, one of the best I’ve had in the UK.

My other half took me here for my birthday earlier in the week, quaint restaurant with lovely staff, food was amazing other half had the n'duja linguine and I had the chicken and Parma ham both meals were lovely and would 100% recommend.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I had the Pollo Milinese, and substituted the chips for roast potatoes.

We were holidaying near Abingdon and were undecided about going into Oxford to eat, glad we didn't. We had a lovely meal in a friendly restaurant. All freshly cooked and piping hot. Best tiramisu I have had in ages. I also recommend a side of truffle and parmesan chips.

Excellent starters and mains. A little disappointed with the dessert. Many items not available, and what was available wasn't great. Service was slow and had to ask to take our order, but food came out in a timely manner. Overall loved it and yes definitely going back.

I cannot thank this restaurant enough for how beautiful our celebration was here for my mother's 50th. We were not the best guests to say the least (we were late as we got the reservation wrong and we therefore had to rush straight to the restaurant without our cake). They showed no frustrations to our tardiness and even gave my mum a little dessert with a candle in, remembering the reason for our reservation. We ordered ahead some vegetarian options from their menu and made some alterations to items on the day and all requests were fulfilled with no problems. The dishes were divine. Would absolutely recommend this little gem in Abingdon to anyone. Even the atmosphere is brilliant here. Warm, cosy and welcoming. Thank you again!

A lovely restaurant with warmly welcoming service and fantastic food. The size of the dishes are perfect for lunch or dinner. I got a calzone picante two glass of red wine and a cheeseboard for dessert( like a size of a main course) for £32 it was one of the best experience in an Italian restaurant ever.They makes everything freshly, and (you can taste) with care and passion. Not just pasta or pizza, everyone could find something for sure, and the desserts are heavenly. I felt the place is a bit hidden for the value what it's represent but luckily we found it.

Large family booking handled well, food all out quickly and all together, nice and hot. not all places will manage a 25+ people booking so we'll so thanks, recommended fully as a place to eat.

Spaghetti and meatballs had no taste to it, not enough meatballs for portion size. Pizza was stale and over cooked.

Worst takeaway experience for a long time. I ordered a 12" quattro formaggi pizza. It arrived fairly quickly, but was disappointing. There was hardly any tomato sauce, so it was very dry, lacking flavour, and quite hard to swallow. It was also much smaller than expected – I measured because I was surprised how small and it measured 10.5". Feeling ripped off and quite hungry.

By far the best dish I have had this year. Starter was divine and perfect amount of tiger prawns. Main was absolutely incredible I had the spaghetti Frutti di mare and seriously this dish was the best dish I’ve had this year and I am picky! Carbonara was slightly too creamy and definitely needed more garlic. I would highly recommend anyone to come here it is the definition of fine dining.

Bella Napoli has become one of my regular places now. It's such a sweet, homely setting (even if some of the decor is a bit eclectic.) The staff are always very friendly and I've not had a bad meal there yet. The only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is that I wish they had better gluten free options, and that occasionally the food takes a bit long to come out.

In our view the best restaurant in Abingdon. Really friendly and the food is simply delicious. A restaurant should be as much about the ambience as it is about the food and Bella Napoli ticks all the boxes.

Food arrived half an hour earlier than the expected delivery time and the pizzas were delicious.

Absolutely amazing service every time and proper authentic Italian restaurant leaving you wanting to come back and try more off their menu. Their food takes me back to Sorrento in south Italy such tasty food.

The waitress was very attentive, hence the 2 stars. The food was bland and a table of 10 very loud guests really made it an awful experience

After spending all day renovating the kitchen we decided to have a takeaway from our favourite Italian restaurant. As usual the food was first class and left us dozing in front of the tv. Another triumph for Bella Napoli.

Cycled from Oxford, stopped for pizza here. They have some outdoor tables which is great on a sunny day. The toppings were good but the base was not great. Couldn't eat the corners. I wish they can make the base better then it would be fantastic.

Pizza crust wasn't very good, at least for me. Wayyyy too crispy, and I like more generous toppings.

Really cute restaurant perched on the corner. Simple margarita pizza which was fine for a lunch time treat. Polite waitress. The dishes look amazing and the decor is really welcoming.

Two of us ate here on Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was all home cooked and beautifully made. My wife is half Italian and know Italian home cooking well. The prices are very reasonable and it is clearly quite popular as it was full at 7pm! I had pizza and my wife had lasagne. I just had to have cannoli for dessert - they were delicious.
