My partner and I have visited Bella Luna regularly over the past year and the food, service and atmosphere is always perfect. The staff are really friendly, welcoming and polite. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Friendly welcome. Good selection on menu and specials. Food ordered was delivered quickly, of very high quality and good portions. Very happy. Had been once before and it's been excellent. Looking forward to going again.

Bella Luna is a wonderful little spot in the heart of Thatcham, the service and food are absolutely wonderful - I would HIGHLY recommend their pistachio croissant, it's always an absolute winner!

Visited with a couple of friends and the food was excellent, my freind couldn't decide so asked the waitress for recommendations and she was very informative about the dishes. (The creme brulee was to die for). My only pet hate is adding service charge to the bill, not everyone is confident in asking for it to be removed. You should be allowed to leave a tip yourself which I always do.

Food and service excellent, been dozens of times, never had a bad one.

Came here with my 11 year old son and to be onist the staff was staring so much making us feel rushed and uncomfortable being over charged and ask for a potion of brocoli 2 peices at 4 odd pounds and a basket of bread which consist more olives that we did not like just said a basket of bread tried charging 7.95 as we was watched while I was looking at bill the manager straight there he did sort it out but if the food was really good I would give another go spaghetti bolonaise a little watery and small potions

We had dinner at Bella Luna. We had a fantastic evening and meal. The food was really nice and great choice on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back again!!!

Disappointing. Loud, bordering on roudy. No atmosphere or decor. Slow service, petulant service. Forgot part of our order and blamed us! Poor presentation and small portions of food that do not represent good value. Seems that they have over-stretched themselves moving to new premises and book in more tables than they can cope with.

We often frequent Bella Luna as a family and it never disappoints. Pizza, pasta and other mains are all excellent so it’s quite hard to choose. Great service and great food!

My dining experience at Bella Luna Thatcham was simply excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured every detail was perfect. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Overall, Bella Luna Thatcham exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal.

Ordered Polo Milanese and my partner another chicken dish. Both were stated to come with vegetables and roast potatoes. Chicken was fine but between us we were served not one a potato and and less than one carrot and some calabrese. We complained and were brought out about half a potato between us! Were brought the dessert menu and when my other half went to order were told they had no desserts due to a freezer problem! Complete joke! Had we gone to the Szechwan just a few doors would have got a better meal, which is where we’ll go next time. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Bella Luna was always great food but rather small premises. They have now moved nextdoor and the restaurant is twice the size and they have a nice cocktail bar. The service, atmosphere and food was all excellent.

We have been coming here for the last 5 years and never had a bad meal or experience. The Fillet steaks are the best in Berkshire.

This was a cracking choice for our son’s birthday. It was midweek so the newly reopened restaurant was not busy but the service seemed relaxed bordering on slow. The menu was extensive giving plenty of scope. All the dishes were well presented and proved to be good value.

Bravo Bella Luna! Food delicioso and atmosphere great and decor of the new revamped restaurant (next door from the original site and extended). I look forward to the café (on the site of the original restaurant) opening soon. Hard work paying off!

We came on a busy Saturday night but the waiting staff were so attentive and our food came so quickly! We went for dessert, some were all sold out (the place was packed) but the manager serving us let us know in advance so we could pick from what they had - we had a lovely creme brûlée and a generously sized tiramisu. We had a great dinner, will be coming again.

Outstanding staff, great atmosphere - best restaurant in Thatcham by far! 7 of us went out to eat last night and we were looked after by outstanding staff, who went out of their way to ensure our evening went smoothly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just love this restaurant. Staff and food are great. Always a lovely atmosphere. The evenings with live music and even a bit of kareoke are fab. This type of restaurant if just what Thatcham needed! If you haven’t been yet get yourselves booked!

We had a meal in the new and larger restaruant. We had another excellent meal. The food was amazing and beautifully prepared. The service was extremely good and we will always happily return for more excellent Italian dishes.

This was our first visit to Bella Luna. We managed to park opposite the restaurant, which was a bonus. We had booked a table, and were seated in a corner, which for me, being Autistic was essential. The restaurant was a good 95% full, so the waiting staff were extremely busy. Overall, the service was not bad. The young lady serving us seemed a little overwhelmed and almost came across as being aggressive at times. I ordered the garlic bread, which was slightly burnt and unfortunately did not taste of garlic. My main course was Pene al Forno, a favourite of mine. Unfortunately, again the dish came out and the top was quite black and very dry, so I can only assume it had been left in the oven too long. Whilst I would usually send a dish back, I put it down to how busy the restaurant was, and decided that I would come back again and give this restaurant a second chance so to speak. My dessert was the lemon sorbet, which was absolutely refreshing and very delicious.

Really lovely place with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Portions are large, the pizza was delicious and so fresh - not at all greasy. Roast potatoes excellent and we had a mini shot of Limoncello when we paid the bill. Saturday night they had a live singer who was great, lots of old time hits and not too loud

This is the second time I’ve been to Bella Luna and it certainly won’t be the last. There isn’t a restaurant locally that gives you that feeling like you’re on holiday like Bella Luna. The venue, food and service is so authentic and fantastic, it really does deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait to come back!!

100% the best Italian in the area. Whether eating in or taking away the food is always amazing! Eating in atmosphere and experience is also very authentic! Would always recommend!

Food was great all really tasty. However the evening was a little let down by the welcome by the lady on shift. As we walked in no hello or smile from the lady working on Wednesday 5th April with blonde hair. She didn't smile the whole evening and was very blunt with any communication she made with us. She looked miserable and quite frankly like she didn't want to be there I think she needs to work on her customer service. Everyone else was lovely and very friendly ☺️ thanks

Bustling and warm, the Bella Luna is rightly highly popular. No matter how quickly the place fills up, and it does, the speed merchants in the kitchen and the hard working floor team seem to pour out the food without delay and it is food worth having, with the menu showing a large number of pasta/pizza choices with just that extra tweak to add interest. That was plenty of time for us to enjoy a delicious fish dish and a pasta. The tiramisu topped it up nicely. Staff were effective and friendly, and the prices were acceptable although not particularly cheap. Especially a glass of house red wine for £7.50 felt a bit excessive. Nevertheless, not a bad Friday night out.

We were greeted to a very warm welcome December 22nd , twelve of us sat down to a very delicious meal and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the special sea bass was amazing !

Unfortunately we had the worst pasta ever. We have read all the online reviews on the website and definitely decided to go for it , people had such an amazing experience great food reviews. So we ordered for delivery lasagne, carbonara and linguine al scolio. I’m so sorry I cannot post the picture of the lasagne( not only it doesn’t taste good nothing to do with a lasagne dish , it looks really bad ), but literally if you buy the M&S ready pasta for oven or microwave you get a better taste and food experience, carbonara was made with ham ( not even close with pancetta ), zero taste of Parmesan cheese, probably because was no Parmesan cheese left in the kitchen, It shouldn’t be any difference between dine in and delivery, really disappointed and huge discrepancy on the website reviews and what you actually get.

This restaurant always appears busy, has excellent reputation locally. We booked in advance and could only secure an early table. We received a warm welcome, attentive service and the food was excellent. The best Calzone I’ve ever eaten and tiramisu was superb. Absolutely loved this...

Been here three times now and the food and service has been constant. Not five stars because it can get incredibly hot in there. Not too sure that the air-conditioning is working but they do open all windows and sometimes the door. Reasonable price too and the food is exceptional. Will be regular customers I think. Not used the loos so can't comment on them.

Takeaway-tastic! Power cut meant we had an extended run of takeaways. Feeling apathetic about it all, Bella Luna had alot to live up to and absolutely smashed it out of the park. It really was like they'd put extra love into the preperation of the dishes knowing it was takeout. Even the presentation was to the standard acceptable if I were sitting in the restaurant. Thanks team, you made our night!

Me and my partner ordered from Bella luna the other night and we’re shocked to see a bit of plastic saying “1min” in our pasta, the food was lovely but was disappointed by what we found.

Booked a table for 4 and loved the decor and the food. Waiter was a hit (half Italian half Albanian).
