Had half a dozen items from the menu and was pleased with all of them. Will definitely be my go to Chinese in Chesham.

Been eating here for years.. a smile once in while would be nice. Husband lovely , wife(cook) rude.recently raised £15 minimum order . So that’s single people out priced as it’s £1.70 delivery... greedy!!

I have had takeaways from here many times in the past and although not the best I’ve ever had, the food has always been enjoyable. I haven’t eaten from her for a few months and our takeaway on Saturday was very poor, the only enjoyable part was the rice and chilli beef. The prawn toast was soggy and had an odd taste, chicken satay seemed to have thin layer of soggy batter around it but hard to tell as it was so covered in the sauce. The chicken balls had far to much batter in and tasted odd but the main complaint was the sweet and sour sauce, my partner is the only one who likes it, having poured it over his food he he said it tasted weird and vinegary, I tasted it and it didn’t taste like sweet and sour, it was vile, having poured it over his food he ate it( silly man) and 20 mins later was violently sick, 36 hours on he’s still got stomach cramps and the runs. We called them, first the manager kept interrupting so he couldn’t explain, then when he did explain they just said it’s made fresh everyday and no one else has complained, we offered to take the left over sauce back so they could see for themselves that it wasn’t right, she declined, repeating that no one else had complained. I will not be eating form there again

I’ve eaten in many times & prefer to do that though it’s not really geared up for “eat in”. The food is magnificent but definitely better fresher so try to pick up if you can rather than wait for delivery (although that’s good too!).

More of a takeaway than eat in these days (which is a shame as I love to eat in there) but the owner will accommodate eating in with a) some notice & b) if you don't expect much... they don't have a lot of glasses, no booze licence etc but Mad Squirrel is practically next door so you can bring beer/wine with you. The food is so good it doesn't matter what the ambience is like. It's pretty basic but delicious & a family run business so nice and friendly too...

Without doubt the worst chinese I have ever had with the cheapest tasting ingredients that must have been from a packet. I cannot believe the other reviews as I've honestly never had anything so tasteless.

Without doubt the best chinese in Chesham! The staff are delightful and can't do enough for the diners. I have never been disappointed with a meal here and eat here regularly alone, with a partner, friends and family. Delicious, fresh reasonably priced food. Note: they're not licensed so if you want then BYO alcohol and remember cash as they don't have card facilities... yet!

This is the second time I have had a delivery from here. Only problem I had was a bit too much batter on my sweet and sour chicken. It seems to be more batter than meat but well worth the price and the delivery doesn't take too long

Ordered a takeaway at 5:30pm and arrived just over half an hour later. Very reasonable priced food and got some tasty prawn crackers thrown in for free. Delivery driver along with staff member on the phone, very polite. Food was very good! Roast duck Cantonese style was lovely and the crispy shredded chilli beef was very nice also. No complaints at all. Very good!

There are three types of Chinese food : good Chinese food, good bad Chinese food and bad bad Chinese food. This is unfortunately definitely the latter.

Absolutely terrible. Low quality ingredients thrown together with no care. Buy a ready meal instead. Would be amazed if I am not I'll in the morning. True rubbish

The food was average. They don't offer large versions of popular dishes such as rice meaning you have to buy two of everything. When we ordered they forgot some of our dishes. When I called them they argued in the kitchen (heard everything) only to be to it will be up shortly. They delivered it within 15 minutes but I had already finished my meal. I would have appreciated an apology or even free prawn crackers but nothing. Won't use them again.

They do the best Egg fried rice here - loads of flavour, rice cooked perfectly, and a good sized portion. All the dishes I have had from here are very good, but my favourite is the large, crispy chicken balls with a pot of sweet and sour sauce. The family who run this restaurant are all very friendly.

This restaurant was really good for lunch. We had the ribs, hot and sour soup and rice. The hot and sour soup was really good. It wasn't too spicy and the portions were large. Friendly staff.

Absolutely disgusting. Tasteless slop. Meat was all mush, no bite and certainly no flavour. Horrific. Sauce-based dishes all tasted the same. Speedy delivery and nice delivery guy.

Cannot fault the food, quality, nor flavour of the dishes I've ordered. Rarely find Chinese that actually has nice 'curry' and not a tasteless gravy. Enjoy the satay chow mein too, very nice. Overall, a place that I can give my business.

Top class. We’ve been struggling to find a decent Chinese since the Flower Drum in Watford closed. Will be regulars from now I think. 5 star.

Lovely meal at Chef Zhu - perfect prawn crackers, and good individual service as we picked meals. Happy to swap tofu into a meat dish for me. Food was really tasty, the vegetables were perfect and as fresh as you like, and my husband raved about the Beef with Ginger. We'll be back.
