Beijing express in Kirklees

Avoid at all costs, this place is awful the food either isn't cooked, raw onions unseasonal salt and pepper chips, or salt and pepper chicken that you could break your teeth on and a curry that had slimy chicken that I wouldn't even feed to my worst enemy! Binning it and ordering from somewhere else because I want to wake up in the morning!!!

Just received delivery from here which took an hour & half to arrive then everything was cold, the won tons were rubbery, hard & stuck together as though they’d just been taken out of the freezer and thrown in the deep fat fryer! Just massively disappointed.

I love Chinese and was recommended here and I’m glad I was, the Cantonese duck is amazing, fabulous portion and always consistently tasty, chips are good, fried rice is very good but I did t like the hot n sour soup, ribs were inconsistent too

Absolutely digusted. Food arrived with a can of coke that has been stabbed with a pen. Therefore it had leaked all over my food. I wanted a refund as the meal was ruined!! They refused a refund and will not do anything to make it right! Digusting customer service! Wouldnt recommend..

Ordered from here a few times and the food is always on point! Would deffo recommend this takeaway to anyone.

I am absolutely disgusted that we had to wait 2 hours yes that's 2 whole hours for our food to be delivered...how appalling is that!! We ordered through just eat at 7.20pm and it said the food would be delivered by 8.30pm then it changed to 8.50pm but it finally turned up at and 9.20pm, we didn't really enjoy the food as we were past it since we had to wait so long for it. Maybe they should stop taking order's rather than just being greedy and taking on more orders than they are able to cope with or even turn off their just eat. If it was possible to give this take away a lower rating I would.

My usual takeaway was closed I called here after a recommendation ordered special curry plenty of meat and prawn but the sauce was totally bland and the chips that came with it very greasy they went in the bin!! Will not waste my money in future

The portions are getting definitely smaller, price and delivery are the same,false economy customers expect value for money

Always struggled to find a Chinese that I've enjoyed but this is amazing everything I've ordered was yummy and the spare ribs are by far the best

A good Chinese takeaway that deserves more good reviews that it has. Very good food and good deals for delivery and family.

Very large portions, the set meals very good value as they are massive, always quick delivery. Food is always really tasty and the meat and chicken is always really nice. So much better quality than all the other Chinese takeaways round here

Food is better than average, however delivery driver tried to short change me which I questioned so he gave me a pound coin from his back pocket which turned out fake, food is good but CHECK YOUR CHANGE

Prices are average as most takeaways offer now. It's our favourite take away - best full flavour. They never made mistakes with our order. Always happy to make custom made meal for my vegetarian boyfriend! It's not restaurant - just regular take away so you can't expect the same atmosphere as eat in pubs and restaurant.

I received a menu through my door today and i urge anyone who is wanting to order a takeaway to read the menu before ordering. A child could of written it better than you guys. Need i say more !! Poor grammar and poor spelling = poor service and food !!

Seems petty but ordered a takeout to be delivered and the women on the phone was rude but I let that pass then the delivery guy arrives on my doorstep with a half smoken fag in his hand; well thank you very much for wasting my money because I wont be eating food smelling of fag smoke oh and I should charge you for coming to my door and smelling my hallway out!!! Oh and by the way it is illegal to deliver food and smoke in the same vehicle and you could be fined!! NOT HAPPY

Great takeaway all the food was delicious and hot and delivered before the time given. Would definitely recommend.

I am writing this to say how lovely I have found the food each time I have ordered from Beijing Express. I am a creature of habit and don't tend to switch take away places, but having ordered from one Chinese takeaway for over a year I decided to live dangerously and try somewhere new...cue Beijing Express menu being pushed through my letterbox! When the food arrived it was delicious, very fresh tasting and plentiful - and a bargain to boot. I didn't experience any rudeness from point of order to delivery, just good service - would definitely recommend! :) *

I personally think Beijing express is a great takeaway. i have ordered from their many times in the past year and a half. the food is lovely, they have amazing value for money meal deals and the delivery guys are always warm and friendly. If Beijing express wasn't great then why did i break my vegetarianism this one time to eat their szechuan beef?

Firstly, the lady who answers the phone is so rude! She was abrupt and hung up before I'd finished talking. When the order was here, the chips were missing and they put curry sauce in instead of gravey. When I called her back to explain, she said we will have to come pick them up (even though it wa their fault). Our food went cold and there was no apologies, plus the food wasn't a good standard. I shall never order from there again!
