A little Gem of a place. We recently moved to the village with our 4 month old daughter. We found this place nestled behind the church in a beautiful location. Upon arrival Sarah (tge owner) and her assistant were so warm and hospitable welcoming us from the first moment. The decore is very inviting but the food is out of this world! Not your typical cafe food, this is restaurant quality with a twist. Everything on the menu has an interesting twist but there is something for literally everyone. If you haven't visited here already come along and bring the family, you won't be disappointed... thank you to Sarah and her lovely team. See you again soon.

An absolute hidden gem! Excellent service, stunning food and such a relaxing, cosy atmosphere! Hands down one of my favourite places to come for food, whether it's breakfast, lunch or Sunday brunch. If you like working your way through a menu each time you visit, this is definitely the place, so many delicious unique dishes to choose from. Also perfect if you're wanting to visit with little ones, the staff are very kind and accommodating and just overall fantastic with the kids, my 3 Yr old loves our visits to Find, if it was more local to us we'd probably come every week!

Beautiful hidden jem! The lovely ladies were very attentive and happily accomodated for us vegans! We had the lentil Dahl and the chef made an off menu 'vegan extravaganza' open sandwich for us, both delicious! Gorgeously decorated and located in a quaint little village with parking round the back. Definitely recommend for vegans in and around Derby.

The best place to have a breakfast or brunch in East Midlands! Everything is perfect and carefully prepared, resulting in an unique experience!! Do recommend 100%!

Find is our favourite place to eat and ‘fill up our cups’. The staff are lovely, the food is amazing and the fresh bakes are delicious!! All freshly made and wholesome. We always leave feeling full up and content 🥰

The owner spends time researching her food choices and has a fabulous menu which is definitely worth a trip to. Head for the church at Findern to find ‘Find’ cafe for something a little different.

I come here all the time! The atmosphere is gorgeous - if Scandi vibes is your thing. The food is so fresh and delicious, you cannot get anything like this around here. The staff are lovely and friendly. It’s a unique gem and I will continue to come here as long as I can. My only issue is it states closing time is 3pm but there have been many times I’ve come for a coffee at 2.30pm and they’ve been closing. I have a few friends who’ve said the same thing.

Little bit of heaven in a lovely quiet place that doesn't just do the normal pannini and toasties. Will definitely be back soon

First time here, lovely ambience but very disorganized service. I'd eaten half my toasted tea cake before I got my coffee. For the price charged I was disappointed. Not somewhere I'd go with a large group again.

A lovely gem of a cafe, hidden away from the main road. Delicious, healthy & imaginative food with polite staff as well. Add to all this a relaxing atmosphere & you end up with a winning combination.

A cute little Café. Some of the food is really lovely, some has been a little dry, perhaps need some side sauces or something. However, there are some great choices that are slightly different from average. Service is marvellous and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Modern interior and have seen people working on laptops there too. A large room upstairs and some tables outside too.

Gorgeous. I went with friends as a birthday treat for Sunday Brunch. Lovely setting, staff are wonderful and very helpful. Food is delicious and there's a wonderful choice. I'll definitely visit again.

Warm welcome and very Clean.We had a bacon sandwich each. Fresh soft bread and had well done crispy bacon. That's what I asked for and that's what I had. We'll certainly visit this little gem again. Thank you ladies

Popped in today for takeaway drinks and cakes whilst out on a walk. The cafe is lovely inside and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks and cakes were excellent. We will return in the future and eat inside at which point I will do a full review.

it Was very nice to see this small business being able to Re open again (unlike so many others That sadly haven’t) Since the whole awful Covid thing started in the U.K. and all non essential trading had to completely cease for a few mthsSince re opening We have visited Bees tearooms quite a few times and it continues to provide really good hot drinks, ice cream milkshakes, locally produced quality ice creams, several savoury food options and various home made cakes/scones....all available as take away or to sit inside/outside. The food savoury food is made to order so it’s really fresh. All the food is delicious & portion sizes are generous. The homemade cakes and scones really are soooo very good. Plenty of choices (although it’s a very popular tearooms so obvs as the day goes on the choice might be reduced because everything is freshly homemade so when it’s gone it’s gone. The scones are always fluffy, light and very tasty. The Staff are very friendly, helpful and aim to please. The tearooms are very clean and staff are clearly following all government Covid guidelines to make customers feel as safe as possible. Well done to everyone at Bees for working hard and cheering us up with delicious cakes 100% worth a visit for some lovely homemade food.

6 of us had afternoon tea here yesterday .From when I made the initial booking to all staff on the day Lyndsay and her staff are all friendly and helpful.we were upstairs which was warm and cosy .The afternoon tea was amazing and brilliant value at £12.95 each no one would go hungry and any left they give you little bags to take it home. There were 3 of us who are vegetarian and we were very well catered for. The tables are decorated with flowers and the china cups,saucers and plates very pretty.we had a wonderful time and I can't wait to go again ,thank you Lyndsay

A little gem of a find nestled in Findern. Cakes are fabulous. Service is lovely and friendly. Will be back for sure, the afternoon tea looked amazing so that might be next! They also serve lunches.

My partner and I made a quick stop here as we were visiting relatives in the village. We were highly impressed by the quality of what we were served; the Peak District loose-leaf tea which arrived promptly was rich and delicious, served with lovely little china cups which is a wonderful touch. The Tuna Melt Panini I had was very tasty and had an accompaniment of crisps and a side-salad which seemed very fresh and was presented with pride. A variety of food is on offer including a soup de jour that I shall be making a return journey for to try when we next visit. The ambient music was at an appropriate volume and the atmosphere of the place was calm, allowing you to relax and forget about the world for a while. The lovely staff were polite and professional, and you could tell they enjoy working there, which gives the customer confidence that the service is going to be good. The tea rooms are situated in the Parish Council offices next to the village green and are not difficult to find. Overall, a wonderful little place.

Absolutely delicious food ...Apple and Parsnip soup with a warm cheese scone is to die ..for my favourite 😀 always a nice warm welcome..it is our once a week fix .😀

Visited last Saturday with friends . We were having a meeting upstairs, some of us pre ordered and paid downstairs for our drinks. When the lady brought our drinks up one of our group asked if she could order a drink, she was told she would have to come downstairs and order and pay despite the cafe being empty.She asked if she could pay the member of staff there and then and carry on our meeting. The person seemed very put out and disgruntled and I thought quite rude .... she reluctantly said ok but it was obvious she didn’t want to.The drinks seemed to take ages to come like I said the place was empty.I would say wrap up warm if you come in winter as it’s freezing cold upstairs, after sitting there for an hour I was chilled to the bone. Not very pleasant. I will be returning as it’s handy and the coffee is good but if you want the customers to be comfortable turn the heating up !

We regularly pop to this lovely tea rooms on a weekend and today we had afternoon tea there for a family members birthday. Once again the staff where really friendly, attentive & offered good service.The food was beautifully presented and as usual really excellent quality. All the homemade cakes where so tasty and fresh. The homemade scones and flapjack are always a favourite choice of ours and every time we go they are well made. Really can’t beat proper homemade produce so We continue to visit this little tea rooms due to the consistent good quality.**Special Thank you to all the ladies working today for making mother-in-laws birthday afternoon tea so lovely. ;-)

I visit regularly with my family and absolutely love this quaint tea room. The staff are lovely and friendly, always baking something new and delicious to get your mouth watering! Have been for breakfast, lunch and even had my baby shower here, highly recommend.

My wife and I came here for afternoon tea . The place is very clean and really quaint, it's in a very nice place on the lower green . The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent with a smile . We had the afternoon tea each and there was plenty . The cakes were all homemade and very delicious. The price was very reasonable to , we will go back again for something else off the menu which looked good . Thank you ladies for a very pleasant visit. Would recommend this tearooms to anyone who likes a nice quite place to have a pleasant little snack or afternoon tea .

This is a lovely place to meet with friends for a delicious slice of home made cake and coffee. Very clean, light and airy and kitchen is on view as you walk in.

We went today for just two cups of tea. We had to wait 20 minutes for this small order to arrive. Enough time for a power nap.

Popped in here for lunch today. This is a lovely little tea room in a picturesque location. Apart from a couple of tables that had been reserved, all the indoor tables in both upper and lower dining areas were full, and for good reason! The food was delicious, the cakes were gorgeous (making choosing very difficult) and the coffee was excellent. Fabulous home-made, freshly made fayre. Despite it obviously being a busy time the staff were warm, welcoming, very friendly and very attentive; the service was excellent. The menu choice on offer and the range of cakes and drinks available was good and great value for money. I will most certainly be coming here again and would highly recommend it. It's clearly a very popular place and It's definitely well worth a visit.

Beautifully run tea shop by a really lovely young woman who clearly has passion for what she does. Great upstairs area, light and airy with some tables giving a view over the village green. Not an overly complicated menu but everything we had was done perfectly. Gorgeous bread for the sandwiches. Would return in a heartbeat!

I've visited Bee's several times recently and it's been great. We have had breakfast, met friends for coffee and cake and also had an afternoon tea which was delicious. The food is always of great quality, fresh and so tasty. The cakes are homemade and are always so fresh and tasty. The staff are very welcoming and attentive and service is always very good. They have a lovely room upstairs suitable for larger tables and there are highchairs available for children. I would recommend Bee's for anyone looking for a local, friendly tea rooms for good food and excellent service :-)

Another lovely visit to Bees this weekend. Met some friends for breakfast here and we love the food and atmosphere. Lovely Bagels which are a great change to the usual “sausage bap etc on every other breakfast menu. I had the “ Go Beenanas Bagel” with Nutella and Fresh fruit which was amazing!! Fabulous service with a smile as always and very welcoming even with 3 toddler in tow! xx

We recently visited Bees for my friends baby shower. They put on an afternoon tea service for 10 of us and it was perfect. The food was lovely, of excellent quality and there was plenty to go around. The service was excellent and the staff regularly came to check if we wanted any extra tea and coffee. They we’ve very welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely afternoon. Thanks very much , hope to be back soon

Ok so I owned a cafe in Australia and we made a bloody good coffee if I say so myself! So to the Uk!

Visited the venue for a family party and was very disappointed. We were seated upstairs and the service was poor to say the least! The service was slow and minimal. The venue basic with no atmosphere, the picture on google is deceptive. When the food was served the sandwiches were ok, the cakes were good but by no means value for money.

Lovely food and staff. I had a jacket potato with tuna which came with a good sized salad and coleslaw. The soup went down a treat for my friends - who also enjoyed the cheese scone accompaniment. I didn't get to try cake, but was very very tempted because they looked delicious! We sat upstairs where the was lots of room. I hope to be back!

A true gem of a tea room, small but beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and staffed by lovely, helpful girls. We had toasted sandwiches which were served with salad garnish and crisps and they were excellent. Tea came in a proper teapot! There was plenty of choice on the menu and the cakes looked tempting but we resisted that day. It was our first visit but certainly won't be our last.

Went to this lovely tea rooms today with friends, staff were warm and friendly. Good selection of light lunches and we even had room for some of the Lemon Drizzle Sponge it was yummy. Loved the quirky teapots and the food was served on vintage china,

I love Bee's, because the staff are super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help my mother who has mobility issues. Couple this with the superb homemade cakes and freshly prepared food and we couldn't be happier!

Lovely little tea room - the staff are so friendly! I brought my mum for a coffee in the morning and we ended up staying for lunch as well! Mum struggles with stairs, but this place has a lift that takes you upstairs, so it's very accessible for wheelchairs/pushchairs. Will definitely be back soon

Bee's Tea Room is great. It is always full of people but not so full that the experience is unpleasant, just a popular place because it has such nice food, drink and decor. I have quite enjoyed the sandwiches and the staff is super helpful. The pastries are also delicious, and the baked potatoes are nice and filling. Very glad to have found this place.

We have visited Bees several times and every time the food, drink and staff are just fabulous. Staff are very friendly and helpful & The homemade cakes are simply divine. We absolutely love our trips to Bee’s & would go more often if our waist lines would allow it.

Absolutely love this small tea room in Findern. As the title of the review says this was our 3rd Sunday afternoon visit there and it won’t be our last.

Six of us came for coffee and cakes, each having a different slice, all were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the coffee cake. Wide selection of coffees; wasn’t keen on the decaf but that’s being picky!

We visited these tea rooms on the occasion of the Findern village fete so they were busy. However, we still received friendly, efficient service and our drinks were excellent.

I will definitely be visiting this tea room again! My friend took me as she loves it and wanted to show me, and I can totally see what she means. It is in a quaint little setting and is beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and up for a chat, we didn’t feel rushed at all, even when we were still there past 4pm. We had cream tea and the scones were delicious! As was the coffee! What a lovely little gem of a place!
