So many good beers and the food is great too.

Lovely meal with girlfriend. Great service and food was excellent.

We didn't stay over night but popped in for food and drink. Very friendly service and a great choice of beers. Currently only parking on the street, but there is street parking.

Great little pub! Not many places stock sours but they had a lovely selection that seemed pricey but compared to shops were a fair price! Served by Oscar who knew all about the beers and was more than friendly and if it wasn’t so busy could have talked all night! Will be back! Thanks x

I’ve now sent two emails and used the contact form on the website, no reply to either methods. I’m not able to call. Very disappointing.

We did not stay in the hotel but had a great experience when we popped in for a bar meal. The staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and polite. Food was delicious, we felt well fed even from a bar menu. Atmosphere was warm, clean and inviting.

We had a great meal - I had a Stilton and beef pie - so yummy! My partner had lamb, which looked amazing. Also, the staff were very helpful when accommodating some dietary needs we had. Staff were very friendly, we spoke to 3 different people whilst we were there, but service was seamless. Beer and wine was 👌 All in all 2 very happy diners. Thank you

We came for our second visit this week after such a lovely first visit a week ago. However, it wasn’t quite the visit we expected. On our second drink, we asked one of the barman to top up one of our drinks as felt the head was larger than it needed to be, we were greeted with a response of why? And a face that look appalled that we had asked. The drink wasn’t topped up and we were made to feel very uncomfortable - luckily the quality of the beer made up for the poor attitude of the barman.

Ok, so just for your information, I've only rated as 4* because it asks about the rooms. As I didn't stop here I thought it would be hard to rate properly. We only really went In for a pint on the way home. Beer was nice with plenty of choice. Decor is really nice and well thought out. We didn't have food, but the people on the table next to us did and it looked lovely. Toilets are upstairs and I didn't see an accessible one, so I can't comment wheelchair or baby changing facilities. Unless I missed something, car parking is on the street outside. Really nice place in a nice town

Been here many times - good selection of beers - some are a bit weird though - but I'm not a fan of flowery IPA type beers! Weird can always be good!

Extremely friendly staff; plenty of vegetarian and vegan options - even for dessert! It’s quite cosy, warm and the atmosphere is just wicked!

Delicious food and the draft beers on offer are lush. I had the draught shandy which was more tasty and refreshing than any shandy I had before.

Good food and good service, shame about the troglodytes that sit right under the open window smoking! All we could smell were their disgusting cancer stick’s!

Great food and service, reasonably priced menu

Excellent 4 of us went for lunch, great food, everything home made, proper chips and scampi really well cooked and presented, homemade very tasty burger and excellent beer to top it off. Very reasonable prices. Great service will be returning again soon.

Excellent bar and restaurant with its own micro-brewery selling good beers at decent prices and interesting glasses. The restaurant is a real find, great food and perfectly cooked and presented with a good choice of wines by the bottle but also by the glass, again at sensible prices. Nice atmosphere and very good, friendly service both at the bar and in the restaurant, there’s also an outside seating area which is great for pre-dinner drinks or just a social evening. Altogether a great place to eat or just drink and I thoroughly recommend it

Stayed for one night while in Melbourne, friendly welcome on arrival, room was very comfortable and had everything needed. Had great night's sleep and didn't think it could get any better but l was wrong. The lady who served breakfast was friendly and attentive and the Spirit Vaults breakfast was delicious and with no exaggeration was the tastiest l have had. Many thanks to the Spirit Vaults staff.

Nice pub with a cosy feel, had a few bits of food, the scotch egg is amazing. Pints are also very good, selection of own brewed or guest beers on tap, also a selection of cans. all reasonably priced.

We had lunch here on Easter weekend and can't rate this highly enough. This is a clean, friendly, pretty and dog friendly venue. Lots of great microbrew options. Our meal was 10/10, the best fish and chips and scampi we've had. Staff were also lovely and helpful. It's tricky to get parked, but well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Everything about the Spirit Vaults is well thought out and immaculate. The food is incredible, the beer and brewery even better!

Food was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere only problem is parking in Melbourne can be tricky. Didn’t stay overnight so can’t comment.

Great surprise! Was our last night staying locally and wish we had found this place at the start of our holiday. Great service, outstanding food and drink in a lovely clean and tidy pub! Really was an enjoyable experience and lovely home made lager! Highly recommend booking as on a Thursday night, it was full.
