Beefeater Restaurant in Stockton-on-Tees

Dined on a Saturday night with a family group of 6 adults and 2 children. Food quality and service was to the usual high standard. Shout out to Ronnie for her excellent attentive service.

My wife and I visited The Talpore for a meal and an overnight stay at the Premier Inn next door. We found a table in the bar and we're greeted by a lovely member of staff called Abi. She took our order for drinks at the table and came back later to take our food order. Throughout the night Abi kept coming to our table to see if we needed more drinks and to see if all was ok. I feel Abi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and is a credit to Beefeater. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great, there was even a singer performing the night we were there. I have no hesitation in recommending The Talpore.

Stayed the night at the premier inn, we had a wonderful breakfast the highlight being the attentive host Bev a credit to the restaurant. Bev even remembered us from 3 years ago!

What a fantastic server Abigail was. She met our every need, and we are simply delighted about the quality of service her attention to detail and the exceptional attention to my specific order. Normally there are issues with my order however Abby was absolutely super. The order was perfect The service was with a smile who can ask for more? What a lovely evening and I will be back soon.

Bev was soo lovely . Greeting you with a smile and always there if you needed any help. Breakfast and dinner is always amazing. Quick service. Highly recommend

Just had Christmas dinner here and it was excellent. Food and atmosphere was lovely. Staff was attentive as always, couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you all for sacrificing your Christmas Day to enable us to enjoy ours, Everything went like clockwork, this is down to a well organised team. Thank you again. 10/10.

Met our friends for dinner, lovely welcome & all staff were so nice. 3 of us had the festive menu, 2 of us had the vegetable wellington which was really nice, the other 2 had steak which was also nice, desserts were delicious & we enjoyed our evening.

Had breakfast both mornings of our stay, our waitress Bev was so friendly and attentive, she was dressed for the festive season, she made our visit enjoyable. The food was excellent value and a great selection of items for breakfast.

The staff was so lovely especially bev, even when it was busy they still put the time for you and created a family energy..

Booking in was excellent showed us to our table( we hadn't booked. Straight away asked us for drinks. Came Straight away. Everything was organised& the food was delicious. We have been to alot of restaurants in our time. This 1 is up there

Fantastic restaurant. We visited on a Friday early afternoon for a family meal. We found this to be great quality food and service. I had the chicken makhani curry, Mum enjoyed the grilled salmon and my Uncle had steak pie. We tried to register online ahead of our meal, to get the advertised 25% off voucher, however no voucher was emailed to us. Nevertheless, there are some good value meals for £8 available. Well worth a visit, particularly if you can team this up with a walk by the barrage.

Stopped at the white water campsite so we visited the pub a few times. The pub is dog friendly inside and out, great large outside beer garden. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the pub but the food we saw looked nice. The only negative we could see was the menu was not really aimed at light bite for lunch times. More an evening meal menu. The drinks selection was good and the lager was cold and nice as well as reasonably priced. We will defo return.

Went for Sunday lunch. We walked in the carpet was filthy and covered in hairs the table was sticky when we sat down. The food came quite quickly. However when we started eating it became apparent that everything tasted burnt. Which must have been down to the gravy the Yorkshire puddings were frozen with two tiny pieces of beef. The service was poor nobody came and did a check back at the table. I complained at the end of the meal to be told we'll mine was OK with not as much as a sorry. I left still hungry and disappointed. The best thing about the meal was my pint of Guinness. It was awful

Excellent welcome from the moment we entered by the manager and all of the staff! Food, superb and relaxed atmosphere. However, I would like praise Bev who was working for her friendliness and kindness when we were there - a breath of fresh air in the hospitality trade! She provides a service with a smile as do all of the staff. Thank you

Shout out to Bev. Great experience, she is caring and efficient. Visited for breakfast while staying next door. Worth the visit.

Often visit the Talpore for various reasons & am always welcomed by Nat, Del and the team. So friendly and accommodating, no matter what time of day you come. Pleased this isn’t one of the ones to close (sad for all the others though).

Premier Inn breakfast did the job after an early start. Easy access off the A19/A66. Food coming out nice and fresh and really lovely service from Bev

I have been staying over for work last 2 weeks. Breakfast great selection of food and drink, can't fault it. Special mention has to go to Bev , she can't help you enough making sure to check dietary requirements and asking if you have stayed before. Very bubbly for half 6 in the morning.

Had a fantastic meal served by a waitress called Ronnie absolutely fantastic can't fault her passion for the job great credit for the company keep up the excellent work you do

Had a lovely meal here tonight, service and food was second to none. Staff were very accommodating and we will definitely return. A special thankyou to Ronnie who looked after us from the moment we walked in.

Visited here today to take advantage of the "eat out to help out" and have to say what a brilliant experience. Despite being extremely busy the staff very polite and welcoming. Everyone seemed to have a particular role and it ran very smoothly keeping everyone safe following guidlines. The food was delivered hot and delicious. Couldn't of asked for anything more. Fantastic lunch. Would definitely recommend
