I visited the restaurant while I was staying in the area. I had one of tge best steak meals I've had on this occasion. It was just perfect. Abd the value from the Evening set meal price is very good. Service was excellent. It was very disappointing to learn this outlet is one of many Whitbread have decided to close. Over many years it has been a very popular venue for a good value meal and will be much missed. If only Whitbread had invested more in and it's other restaurants instead of closing so many. Very short sighted

Booked as part of a meal deal whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door, The staff were extremely courteous helpful, polite and provided assistance as I am a wheelchair user. The manageress Sue and Ev ( a member of her staff) could not have done anything more to make our evening enjoyable and are a credit to this company. A slight disappointment was the fact that certain items on the menu and some bar drinks were unavailable. Not sure if this is owing to the forthcoming closure of Beefeater restaurants and possible running down of stock???

Absolutely brilliant. Well done to the chefs and staff. If all Premier Inn outlets was this good quality and presentation you would do well. Thank you.

Arrived to see the car park busy with a dozen or so work vans in the car park, dotted about in various places. Not sure if they were all guests of the adjoining Premier Inn or permanently using it as a parking area, some definitely looked like they hadn't been moved for a while. Staff pleasant and attentive enough. Food hot and plentiful but that is where it ends really. The food was overcooked and very dry. Nothing really stood out. It was okay, considering I didn't have to cook, not somewhere I'd choose for a special occasion. We had a voucher that meant it was affordable. Wouldn't pay full price as it wouldn't be worth it.

We booked on line and the lovely girl on reception at the adjacent Premier Inn checked it for us. We were seated immediately and the service was good. Orders taken promptly and despite a list of unavailable dishes we were able to order. My friend had the salad but was a bit disappointed as it was all cold, broccoli and steak should have been hot or at least warm.There was very limited choice of desert but we were able to find something sweet to complete our meal. We had a beefeater grill rewards voucher so had £10 off the bill, realised after we left they hadn’t charged us for everything we had. The Prosecco cocktail was flat no fizz at all but can’t complain as they didn’t charge us for it.

We visited for a midweek lunch and although I had booked it wasn't really necessary. There were two menus offered to us - the main menu and their lunchtime menu (2 courses for £8.95 or 3 for £10.95). We all chose from the lunch menu and had a starter and a main. My starter of Breaded Mushrooms arrived very quickly and was piping hot. I am not usually a fan of barbeque dip but I enjoyed their version. For the main I orderd the Fish (Pollock), Chips and Garden Peas. Again it arrived quickly and was very hot. The portion size is more than adequate and both course are very good value for money.I couldn't manage a desser but did have a latte. Our server Olivia C was very friendly, efficient and helpful. There is loads of parking and covid measures were in place. Yes there were things missing from the menu due to the ongoing delivery issues but we would certainly visit again.

We appreciated that the table we were at was not too close to any others, although we had purposely booked late afternoon to miss the lunch and evening rush. The food was ok, but lots of things not available, including Sunday Roasts - whilst we appreciated the server was new, the service was incredibly slow, if the staff are new then surely somebody more experienced should be making sure they are coping, especially as it was quiet in the restaurant - 20 minutes after finally taking our order, the server came back to ask a question about how we wanted one of the dishes, saying the chef is just starting to cook your order - the food was average, ok but overpriced - took almost 21/2 hrs to have mains and desserts for 6 people - we weren’t offered coffee, but wouldn’t have bothered as we didn’t have another hour to wait - had to be somewhere else .

We visited on a weekday with friends and were immediately made welcome by the staff. We were shown to our table by Alisha who looked after us throughout the evening and was very attentive. The food arrived, was perfectly cooked and a good size portion too. All great here, with a particular thank you to Alisha and Michelle. We will be back.

Me & My husband have visited the glegg on many occasions and sometimes the food is very hit and miss! But we have visited twice this week late evening and the food has been amazing so well presented and cooked to perfection my husband had the Mixed grill and commented the steak was incredible full of flavour and the other meat was just as good, I myself had a hunters chicken again piping hot right through and beautifully served hats off to the chef this week hopefully this is the sign of a good turn around for the kitchen

We travelled to The Wirral to visit our old stomping ground having grown up here until our mid twenties. The Beefeater at The Glegg Arms was lovely and welcoming, Abbi our waitress was excellent and the chef Dennis cooked a perfect steak, rare to medium. Well done team and thank you. We will return

My Husband Gary and I have stayed in the Premier Inn, Heswall many times which is next door to the Beefeater Glegg Arms and have always enjoyed our stay there. Wev always eaten in the Beefeater Clegg Arms Restaurant and had a Lovely meal. A special mention to Alycia who We cant Thank enough. She is always Very Happy and Brilliant at her job. Nothing is too much trouble to her, shes always been Pleasant and Smiling and so Lovely and has explained everything regarding the Menu. Well Done Alycia for giving Us a Lovely Experience from Jan and Gary, Liverpool.

We visited the Glegg for a birthday lunch with my elderly parents. We had a very enjoyable lunch. The only reason for the 4* rather than 5* ratingis due to a number of the dishes on the menu for both main courses and desserts were not available.The service from Alyssia was exceptional, she was attentive without being intrusive.Food was lovely and the whole experience was very enjoyable.

This was a return visit after a long break away!. I had booked online and this process was very easy to do . We were shown to a table in the conservatory which is quiet and very airy. There are two menus at lunchtime but we actually chose from the daytime menu. There is plenty of choice - something for eveyone's taste and pocket. I chose the Open Chicken Sandwich - strips of chicken breast, crispy bacon, tomato, shredded lettuce and mayonnaise on an open, warm ciabatta served with skinny fries. My partner chose the haddock with triple fried chips. The mains arrived fairly pronptly and were hot, tasty and very good value for money. For dessert we decided to choose the mini pud and coffee. We both selected the lemon drizzle cake and it was lovely and tasty and just enough after the main. Our server Olivia was friendly efficient and most helpful ( if she didn't know the answer to a query she went away and found out the answer). Another very good experience.

Arrived at Premier Inn around 20:00 on the 4th September and then went over to this restaurant to have some tea. I am not exaggerating when I say we were stood at the 'please stand here and wait to be seated' sign for 20 minutes where no staff whatsoever acknowledged us even when walking past, and we just walked out and went elsewhere. The bar man said someone will be with you after being stood there for 10 minutes, did someone greet us? No. Few young waitresses working and not one of them came to us and said sorry we are a bit busy we won't be long however they chose to just blank us. The customer service was absolutely appalling and whoever the manager is of this restaurant should be training these young waitresses what customer service is. We ended up just walking out of the restaurant and going elsewhere, where our custom was valued.

After a four nigh stay in the accompanying Premier Inn, I cannot praise the service we received high enough at the Glegg Arms. The food was wonderful, we actually thought Jamie Oliver was in the kitchen, the service we received each morning and night was exemplary. Nothing was a bother, A credit to the team managing at the Glegg Arms. Well worth a stay in one of the most beautiful parts of the country the Wirral is wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

We stopped off here on our way home from a weekend away. We were so pleased that it wasn't packed. We were shown to a table straight away and offered drinks. Our server Alyssia was very friendly, pleasant and professional. She returned to ask if everything was to our liking ( which it was ) and again to see if there was anything else she could get us. The food was delicious and the portions generous. I had the smothered chicken and my partner had the cheese burger. We both polished off the lot. I highly recommend the slaw! The atmosphere was fantastic very chilled and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our little stop off and will definitely return.

We used to visit regularly before Lock down. I took my Mum for an early Tea today as she hasnt been out at all. Ekielina our waitress and Lisa were brilliant the food was lovely

Our visit started off with a less than welcoming lady tutting and looking at her watch because we dared show up 10 minutes early. I’m guessing she was the manager as all the other staff were in uniform. We were shown to our table and served drinks and our food order taken promptly. After 15 minutes we were told the food my wife ordered wasn’t available (why would it take 15 minutes to work that out?) so she ordered something else. We waited a full 45 minutes for our food. I had ordered the 16oz t-bone and expected it to be huge, it wasn’t. For £25 you would expect the sides to be generous, they weren’t. A handful of chips, 2 dry looking mushrooms , a small grilled tomato and a mushy thing (I honestly don’t know what it was). After finishing our food we waited for a good 15 minutes and never seen any waiting staff so I eventually had to go find the bar man and ask him for the bill. The waitress (who had been nice if not attentive) eventually appeared and I paired the bill. The food was expensive and of poor quality, I will not eat here again.

Stayed over next door amd I don’t normally eat on site as always away a lot, but for change I popped into the Glegg . On entry was greeted and made very welcome. I had the chicken with ribs and the ribs were mazing and washed it all down with a cold beer . The waitress that looked after through my meal was Lisa and she couldn’t do enough for me and made the whole experience worth the visit, would come back again.

Visited yesterday with a friend , would have like to have had a more interesting choice as a vegetarian but would visit again just because of the lovely waitress Lisa , so smiley and chatty , great service !

The vegetarian options are very very limited, and I hardly think they should class themselves as vegetarian friendly. The lunch menu has one vegetarian option on it, which I find awful, and it's a spicy option which not everyone likes. I feel like the menu is miles behind the times when it comes to vegetarian/ vegan options

Came in with our family and was greeted by a waitress called Lisa, Start to finish she was fantastic, Made sure all covid guidelines where followed and really made us feel at home. Service with a smile. The food was 10/10 and was very fairly priced. Compliments to the chefs.

Great food, great service, great value for money.It was a very busy night for the staff, but despite of that Evelyn made sure this didn't affect our experience. She was very attentive and always with a smile on her face. Food was delicious, hot and good portion sizes. We will be returning and recommending to our friends. Overall excellent night!

Pros - Charlotte our waitress was absolutely lovely. Very smiley, helpful and has a pleasant demeanour. Drinks came out promptly. Cons - The lady who seemed to be overseeing the service seemed grumpy and could do with some customer service training re etiquette around greeting people warmly on arrival and when they leave. My dish, the Chili non Carne, though lovely, was a child's size portion and definitely not worth £11.00. Would struggle to justify another visit in the near future when there are better establishments available locally. Would suggest the business owners employ some secret shoppers to gauge the ambiance and levels of service.

Called in with friends and granddaughter for a late lunch. Waitress welcoming and friendly. Drink order taken promptly. Food arrived on hot plates and was delicious. Will visit again when back in the area.

Just come back from taking my son and myself to the glegg for lunch I've eaten here before and always enjoyed it so wanted to take my son as the kids play in the garden is brilliant. When our food came I was disappointed as my son's kids meal had more on the plate then mine but it was tasty so I ate it but my son said his bun was burnt was black burnt but well done then the burger brunt his mouth some kids can eat spicy but my son can't stand it so he couldn't eat it then he went to eat the salad and said it didn't taste like he normally tastes so he only ate a small amount of the meal and I've had to give him lunch once we got home . I spoke to the team about it and to be honest the lovely young girls didn't know what to say but the man on the desk said nothing just looked at me and I waited for a reply even just to say sorry to my son who was telling them his mouth was tinging they didn't say a word and I felt very uncomfortable especially as when I left I could hear them speaking . My son was given a free drink with his kid meal too . I think if they tried to explain them selves and said sorry I wouldn't want to write such a review but I can't say it was a nice meal experience I have photos but won't upload

Called in here on the off chance they had a table as we hadn't booked. Food was delicious and service was outstanding throughout our visit. We were greated at the door promptly and shown to our table over looking an impressive beer garden complete with playgound which the kids absolutally loved. food arrived quickly and efficiently and was cooked to perfection. would without doubt recomend this restaurant and we will be back soon.

Quickly greeted and seated, I ordered a coffee whist I browsed the menu The manager was very helpful and recommended some dishes to try. The food was beautifully presented, hot and delicious! Lovely clean surroundings just perfect look forward to popping in again

We visit here as a family on a regular basis. They never fail to exceed expectation. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much for them. Food always hot and quick. We always enjoy our visits to this site.

REALLY DISAPPOINTED.Food (trio of fish) was so bad I returned it for something else which was mediocre!Companion’s meal was same and left half of it.As we walked in it was very obvious that the whole place inside and outside needed updating and freshening up. Carpets looked dirty and ancient and interior sad!My companion said it was a glorified pub!Our waitress was fine and apologised.Will certainly not recommend it!

I find it a shame that none of the food establishments in my local area have anything good to offer that stands out... after eating here the first time I knew I had to revist despite the comute... as before the food was beautifully cooked and staff went above and beyond to make our evening perfect... I had 1 minor issue with a spilt drink on my desert which was replaced for me before I could even ask at the houses expense with thanks to Mr Burke and Darren the managers who dealt with the issue very quickly.. all said I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience... well done ill most definitely be back

The Premier Inn here is fine. The adjacent pub - The Gregg Arms is awful. The food was over cooked, choices unavailable and is was awful. Evening dinner was a joke and was cooked into oblivion. The manager thought it was ok! Breakfast started with “the sausage is on recall” so off the menu. It was again cooked until all flavour was gone!!

We called in with friends without booking and received a warm welcome and were seated quickly. Our drinks orders were taken and arrived soon after as was our food. Excellent service from the staff without being intrusive. Definitely would recommend the Glegg for perfect service and excellent food. We will be back. Thank you.

Visited the Glegg Arms twice for dinner recently while staying in Parkgate. Missed it in 2020. It still offers a good selection on the menu and sells one of my favourite cask ales, Sharps Doombar. It wasn't particularly crowded on both occasions and the servicewas very good and attentive from my server Charlofte. Recommended for a visit.

We ate here on thursday for a late lunch with 4 children and grandparents, we sat outside and the kids had so much fun at the playground, it’s excellent for all ages and well worth a visit if you have children with energy to burn!We all ordered off the lunch menu and kids menu and our food was super tasty and with very generous portions, the children enjoyed all their food too and our waitress was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating with quick service, will definitely be visiting again.

We had food here over two days. It was ok. Not the same standard we have had at other beefeater but OK. The manager said they were expecting a food delivery so they only had skin on fries, and had to go begging to get other fries from a fellow pub, I didn't need to know!The wait was looong for dinner. Breakfast was adequate, but the fried eggs were like the joke rubber ones from a joke shop. The staff were obviously trying, but extremely short staffed, and it didn't help with customers who booked meal deals through the Premier Inn but not booked a table causing pressure on them. Not some where I would go again, but it served a purpose.

This was our first evening out and The Glegg staff did not disappoint. A very friendly welcome was given to our party and we were quickly shown to our table.The menu was excellent, plenty of meat options for those of us who enjoy a superbly cooked steak or grilled chicken, after all, this is a Beefeater and it is what they do best! Our servers were very attentive and we were really well looked after.Highly recommended for those that enjoy great meat dishes served in a homely setting. Well done!

A super return- this was our first meal outside of our home since last year. We were met by smiley happy staff ready to reassure and ensure that we had a safe enjoyable meal in a clean welcoming environment. The meal was great- we shared a starter and a dessert interspersed with a generous tasty and hot main meal- I had smothered chicken with triple cooked chips coleslaw and salad husband had a rare juicy steak with the same accompaniments. We couldn’t find fault with anything so needless to say we will certainly be visiting a Beefeater again. Thank you to El and Evie for all their attention.

Went on impulse to dine inside. Ordered Makhani,curry and steak in flatbread. Waitress charming and efficient. Food hot and tasty. Drink waitress also friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

Only visited here today because my dad wanted to eat here.I do not eat meat but there was one option on the menu called Chilli Non Carne, obviously a meat free (soya) chilli. Me and my son both ordered this.When ordering I asked the waitress (who, by the way, was very friendly, competent and attentive) twice to ensure that we would get the meat free chilli.It looked meaty, and as soon as I tasted it I knew it was beef. I dissected a couple of pieces and could see that it was in fact beef.After not eating beef for over 30 years I felt sick to my stomach.Yes it is a beefeater restaurant, and again, I went there because I knew my dad would like it, but if you have a vegan in your party, completely avoid this place.

We came for dinner at the Glegg Arms whilst staying at the Heswell Premier Inn for a film project the following day. We were served by Charlotte, who in-spite of the bad weather and the difficulty of serving with the current restrictions was polite, friendly and attentive and made the whole experience fantastic. She is a great credit to the organisation. The food and drink were also excellent, well priced and service was fast. It was definitely the first class service that made our evening though. If you are staying at the Premier Inn or in Heswell or the Wirral area in general, we couldn’t recommend the Glegg Arms highly enough.

We went as a group of 4 for afternoon drinks and bite to eat. Leesh checked us in with a friendly smile and then showed us to our table and double checked everything was ok and also asked if anyone needed the allergen menu (which I did) so greatly appreciated. We were asked about drinks and food quickly and received all in good time. The vegan burger was really yummy and everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. First meal back out of lockdown and we felt really safe and at ease and all tables well socially distanced. Massive thanks to Leesh who made us feel welcome and gave us a lovely check in. Thank you

Not very well organised. Manager doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. Messed up our booking and then had to wait 25 mins waiting for someone to take our order. Felt like we were put to the side and forgot about ☹️

Just awful. Never underestimate the power of the Glegg to totally mess up an evening you’ve all been looking forward to.

Pro: Meal itself was pretty decent; spoilt for choice on the menu, drinks were fine.Con: Service was slow without explanation, one of my drinks orders was completely forgotten by the staff and just never arrived (at least it wasn't put onto the bill). My mother ordered a glass of wine which had a hair in it and therefore had to be replaced (in fairness, the staff were very apologetic and understanding about this), and at the end of the meal we were given the bill for the table next to ours. I would guess that maybe the staff were quite stretched due to service having to be outside with the ongoing restrictions so I can definitely empathise with this.

Went at the weekend. Service was a bit slow which was fine. It was busy and we were so happy to be sat with friends catching up. Ordered the garlic flatbread for £4.99and was told it was garlic bread slices and was that ok? I said sure that’s fine. When it arrived it was the cheap garlic bread slices - around 7/8slices. I thought the portion is probably bigger cos it’s the rubbish garlic bread.When the bill came I was charged for 2 portions because the waitress must of misunderstood when I said our baby could have some. So I was charged £9.98 for a few slices of cheap garlic bread. I can get that garlic bread for 80p for 10 slices from aldi!!

Booked online, first place we’ve eaten out since lockdown so was looking forward to it. Arrived at 1pm prompt, quickly shown to our table. Menus brought and coffees ordered, great. They arrived quickly and then it started to go downhill. Waited a good 15 minutes before we had to ask if we could order. Starters we wanted had sold old so just had mains - smothered chicken with chunky chips and salad. Lots of people arriving but we never saw any meals going out to any tables - strange. After a further 40 minutes we asked if our meals were on their way, and they arrived after 5 more minutes. Meals were ok, nothing special but tasty. Asked for our bill. After waiting nearly 10 minutes we decided to go to the outside counter and sort it out there. From arriving to leaving took an hour and 15 minutes. Also noticed that when people left their tables, no one wiped or sanitised the table before next customers arrived.

This was our first meal out since the restrictions had been lifted and I have to say it was a lovely and pleasant experience. From start to finish the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was also very good and my daughter especially loved their chunky chips.I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning again soon

Awful never again, waste of £220 !!! Frozen potatoes, veg , no pigs in blankets as advertised. Microwaved tasteless Xmas pudding & no Festive spirit at all . Totally put a dampener on our day .

Disappointing doesn't describe our lunch. Dirty shabby tables, dirty carpet, dirty cheap food, couldn't eat our food, left before we reached the coffee. Should of stayed home an just flushed our money down the toilet 😭💰🚽

During these difficult times I've been very wary of visiting restaurants but ive been here several times now as the layout is great, there's sanitiser stations throughout, a one way system, screens and lots of space. The staff are all super friendly and fun. Tonight I was served by Suzanne who laughed and joked with us, kept checking we had drinks and just made the whole night so easy and enjoyable. Shes not the exception by the way, they're all like that! The food is lovely, big portions and always very hot. Theres often deals on and the rewards scheme is definitely worth doing. I feel very safe at the Glegg.

We have decided to come out and have a dinner as we haven't been out in a while. We were seated quickly. We had children’s sausage and mash, chicken and ribs and hunters chicken, all delivered steaming hot by our server Chloe. In this strange time it’s the service you get they makes all the difference. Great service Chloe thank you. 🤪

We stopped by for the evening and were greeted by friendly staff. The retsuarant felt completely Covid safe and we could see what was expected of us. The food was beautiful and great value and the service by the staff was first rate.We will definately be back and can highly recommend the Glegg.

We were greeted and seated quickly, our sever Suzanne was really friendly, made a fuss of our daughter and was very personable. Food was lovely, hot, cooked well and very tasty. We got a reward card and discount for signing up before our visit online so really good value too. Easy to find, good parking and a really nice meal out. We will definitely be back

Stayed at premier inn 2 nights had breakfast here in morning’s, lovely staff and food good and plentiful. Had an evening meal here also food was amazing I had trio off fish off festive menu and partner had surf & turf both delicious and staff lovely and friendly

I booked a table by phone and Chris answered, he ask all the pertinent question re Covid.When we arrived all measures to keep us safe were in place and it was also explained to us.We had a lovely hot meal in a pleasant atmosphere despite Covid. It was a little normality but we felt safe and relaxed from start to finish.Chloe looked after us, returning to the table to ask if everything was okay and then taking our order for dessert. We have been coming here for years but this was our first time since Coronavirus. We felt really safe, all precautions in place and really well looked after by all the staff.The food was great and we had excellent service by Alisha. We will definitely be going back!

Brilliant restaurant with amazing staff and food! Our waitress for the evening meal was Ewelina and she couldn't do enough for us even though she was clearly rushed off her feet. The food arrived quickly and was very filling. Our breakfast the next morning was again lovely no complaints about this restaurant! The same goes for the premier inn we stayed at next door, Daniel on reception when we checked in was lovely and very helpful, unfortunately in the night my daughter had a small accident and the morning staff were very understanding and didnt make us feel more guilty or embarrassed than we already did.All round an enjoyable stay

Visited The Glegg on Saturday 17th October 2020 for an evening meal whilst working. Fantastic and friendly staff as always, Alisha, Paul and Sue attended to my every need. Had the Mixed Grill which was grilled to perfection by resident Chef Dennis. Would highly recommend; always leave this restaurant fully satisfied.

Came here for breakfast a few times when stayed next door at the premier inn. Due to covid they have a menu from which you chose your cooked breakfast and/or a continental breakfast from. I loved the toast, a great cuppa and the cooked goods were great too. £8.99.

Fantastic food and service once again. Chloe served the food with a smile throughout. With present times considered, she, and the rest of the staff working last night, are a credit to the restaurant.

Great food and the lady Chloe was ace . She helped with all orders and came to us often to ask if we needed anything else and very friendly.

We decided to pop in for a quick bite on the way back from an appointment. A nice lady called Lisa J greeted us asked us wether we would prefer a booth or a table (it being early tea on a Monday it wasn't too busy). We got a nice table, Lisa took our details for track and trace, then returned for drink orders. The drinks menu doesn't have much for me on it, as I am a rum and cocktails fan, bt I decided to try the new wine seltzer (spritzer?), which was OK, for a wine. We had been given lunch and main menus and decided on a few items from the main menu, slightly chaged to suit ourseleves, which was no problem whatsoever. The food came out in a timely fashion, and was delicious and perfectly cooked. We have been several times before, but every time they outdo themselves. The seaside potatoes in particular are a must. Ieven went for a desert, which I tend not to do and it was perfect, even though it was chocolate it wasn't overly sickly, but just finished of a perfect meal. The bill was quite cheap for the standard of service and quality of food. Thanks to Lisa J for being so friendly and professional, she made us feel right at home.

The service was exceptional by Chloe all staff polite and thank you to the kitchen staff for a tasty meal.

We had a delicious lunch today to celebrate our anniversary. We were served by Suzanne and found her very friendly and helpful. We would most certainly visit again.

We booked a table on way home from Wales. Easy to book and the two children were entertained with crayons and play area. Server emma was very efficient and friendly, she got the order spot on and food was very tasty and came quickly. 👍

Another visit to The Glegg and we were well looked after. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and obviously well versed in Covid training. The food was exactly as we had ordered and great value. The staff were very attentive, and Sue made sure we were happy with everything we ordered. We'll be back again very soon! Well done!

Haven't eaten at Beefeater (or any other restaurant) many times this year (for some strange reason), but this was the best for ages.Nice to see that the menu seems to be slowly expanding (based upon the number of desserts available between the current and last menus) so there was lots of choice.My wife chose the Premium Sharing Starter (as a main, to herself) and I chose the Double Short Rib and Maple Glazed Bacon Burger. She declared that her starter/main was the most enjoyable she'd had for ages. My burger was lovely too although I couldn't manage all the bread.Special mention to our waitress Chloe who ensured we were OK for drinks, etc, and made us feel really welcome whilst maintaining social distancing that wasn't too obvious.

Had the 8oz steak with peppercorn sauce chips peas and watercress very good caramel and apple + custard lovely Chloe very pleasant and efficient good.

lovely atmosphere and service. Delightful waitress called Emma who my 9year old though was very cool. Food was hot, tasty and nicely presented.

Last sunday we had a lovely meal and were served by Chloe who not only respected social distancing measures, but did it in a way which made us comfortable while feeling attended to. Even when there was a problem with the kitchen she kept us informed and was polite throughout. Lovely food, a welcoming atmosphere and Chloe was the icing on the cake (just to be clear we didnt have cake so I am not sure if there is icing on any of their cakes.)

I had a vegan burger, my friend a mixed grill. The burger was delicious. My friend enjoyed the mixed grill. Bottomless chips which we both took advantage of. The waitress, Chloe, was very attentive kept us well lubricated 😉

We came for out lunchtime meal on Monday, 21st September and Suzanne, our waitress, was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good and tasty. All four of us enjoyed ourselves.
