Beefeater in Dudley

Went for both breakfast and dinner, although we arrived late in the evening for dinner they were still happy to accommodate and were overall very friendly, I has the spicy chicken burger which came with fries and coleslaw and was delicious, for breakfast had full English and continental and was again very tasty, even with allergies staff were helpful and happy to accommodate, overall good experience.

Booked for Sunday lunch today and was told that they had sold out very disappointing couldn't use voucher which ended today had to go elsewhere

Staying in the neighboring Premier Inn for the week for work, so after busy day this was the obvious place to go for food. Was taken to my seat and was greeted very quickly and cheerily by a lady who introduced herself as Kat, who was lovely. I was never waiting around to get my order in or get another drink, she was very attentive and also overall very pleasant and friendly! Food was very nice too, got some upgraded fries and a burger and it was all nice and hot, plated well and tasted lovely. Bonus points to Kat for not coming over and asking how my food was when I had a giant mouthful, but instead gave a thumbs up to get the same question across! No need for embarrassing talking with my mouth full 😁 All in all, a nice clean spot to eat, very tasty food, wasn't waiting around for ages and the service from Kat was fantastic. Will be back again for the next couple days!

Nina is an absolute treasure- super smilies, super efficient, makes everyone laugh and is most excellent at her job. What a credit to your organisation Food was spot on and the price is great value. Clean, tidy, organised, fast and super friendly - looking forward to coming back many times. Can't recommend the place or the the exellent service enough 😁🥳

Absolutely gutted to hear this place is closing. We have enjoyed coming here so much over the years. It has always been our go to place for family get togethers. We have always received the best customer service and excellent quality food here. There is one member of staff in particular who has always gone above and beyond to make our visits so great and her name is Kat. She is such a hard working lady and nothing is ever too much trouble. We wish this lovely kind lady all the very best for the future. I was just thinking recently what a lovely place this must be to work due to the same staff being there for such a long time. The atmosphere is always so nice which I feel is down to the brilliant team of staff. We will miss this special place where we were always made to feel so welcome and the wonderful staff who worked so well together. We wish them all the very best for the future. So sad I can’t say there is anywhere else we can go like this and we are losing such a great asset to the area.

It had a Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff, quick service and great food. The host was brilliant and we had free parking when you give your reg. The host was friendly and funny and praised her staff. The bar was clean and an excellent bartender knowing exactly who was next and offering their promotional drinks. We were told about Christmas bookings if we were interested. A good time was had by all.

It was too cold wet and miserable to even consider going shopping and then cooking, however today’s experience at the Kingswinford was far from cold and miserable. On arriving, we were instantly greeted and not soon after shown to a table. After being allowed to look through the menu our waitress (sorry I forgot her name) came and took a food and drink order. The drinks arrived promptly and were followed by 2 steaming-hot Sunday lunches. These were exactly what the doctor ordered! While we eating, the manager could’ve seen checking on the tables (including my own) in the restaurant. Made us feel like valued customers, as always. Although we didn’t intend to have a pudding, as I was full to bursting point, our waitress pointed out that I could have a mini pudding and a coffee. A perfect way to end the meal. The bill came promptly, although at no point did I feel I was being rushed out of the door, and I was able to pay (very good value for money for what we had), extra bonus of the reward points. Well done all at the Kingswindord Beefeater!

Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Food is always nice and also plenty of choice. The bar area is also comfortable.

Called in today (Saturday) for lunch.Two of us had scallops to start, they were cooked perfectly, third person had coated mushrooms amd commented on how nice they were.Main courses were Tuna, Haddock and Chips and Sirloin steak with chips and salad, could not fault the quality of the food, the service was also first class, f i could make one criticism it is that £7.29 for a 250ml galss of white wine is overpriced in my opinion

We went on a lunchtime and it was a funny experience. They did not have any rump steak or Rib eye! Because of this they did offer an upgrade, so can't really complain. Food quite nice, considering did not have the steak we wanted. Following this they presented the bill and charged me for four meals instead of two! We sorted it out and they did apologise again. Bad day at the office, and did explain the problem with the supplier etc. I will go back again at some point, hopefully a better day this time.

The Host was very welcoming and we were seated right away. The restaurant looked lovely and was very clean. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu as one of us had allergies. Our three courses were timed perfectly and the staff were attentive. The food itself was beautifully cooked and displayed. I would highly recommend and will be returning.

Clean and tidy, nice atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Food was good value for money, and the family enjoyed it. The service was prompt and pleasant. No complaints would go again.

Visited Kingswinford with the family for a meal. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was busy but they were attentive and went above and beyond for us. The staff at the Kingswinford are very hardworking and seemed to enjoy their jobs, unlike other places I have been. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, the other customers looked like they were enjoying themselves. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. The food came out quick and was presented well, good portions, reasonable price and tasty. I will certainly be going back and would recommend it to everyone!

Popped into the Beefeater at Kingswinford for a meal with friends and have to say I was extremely impressed. Both service and food were amazing. I can definitely recommend the set festive menu as the price and selection was fantastic. Will be recommending to all my friends.

We decided on a spur of the moment sunday meal. As we had been here before it was an easy decision. We chose from the festive menu. The food was very good, steak cooked well, burger good, starters and puds nice. Only let down was the waiting times , waiting for our drinks order , and food orders.The place was only half full but it still took quite a while.

We did visit this restaurant every week I but won’t be going back for a long time the standard Of food is not good we had wrong meals bought out and everything that was our first choice was not available, The staff did apologies but the manager was very rude .

A Christmas meal booked and we were told no Christmas pudding , waited ages to be served ... chocolate bomb sauce COLD !! Complained via email and they didn’t want to know .. don’t bother to book Awful.

Called into The Beefeater at Kingswinford at approx 5pm, hoping to get a meal, we were tired and hungry.

My partner and I stayed at the premiere in next door so we automatically came to the beefeater to eat a evening meal. I had steak, it was awful had to send it back. Presentation was not encouraging. Very basic pub food. My partners prawn cocktail has 4 prawns and a bit of green. Not good at all. The staff at the entrance of the restaurant was more interested in chatting to each other rather than showing us to a table. Not good value, like the premiere inn, very dark, and grubby. Would not recommend and never visit again

Visiting the kingswinford was a treat. Big giant steaks, as many chips as you like, great service. Drink selection is almost too much to choose from. If you have a taste card, very much worth your money.

Brilliant service from all the staff, very attentive, would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that I know! Keep up the good work guys! Oh and the food was to die for!!!!

Awful from start to finish. Floor, bar and tables were all dirty and sticky. Bar staff were ignorant and no hurry. Similar story with the waiters and waitresses.

Had a very pleasant evening with my friends we were well looked after from our greeting to our leaving. Our waitress Phoebe was very friendly and helpful and looked after us,our food was very nice (like to thank kitchen staff we had different food all hot on arrival) a small hiccup was dealt with instantly. Will begoing back .

Had a fantastic evening here.. waitresses were inviting and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.. food was devine and reasonably priced.. if your a pudding person I would recommend the chocolate bomb :)

So often with chain restaurants the service is not that good but this was exceptional. A waiter showed us to our table then we were well looked after by Katherine. Her attention to detail and her warm friendly service was second to none. Despite the restaurant being very busy (11th October) she treated us as if we were the only ones dining. She’s a credit to the company.

Went to the beefeater for a meal on my birthday. It was less than average to say the least and not at all cheap!

Recently dined here with 40% discount off mains offer. Generally the food was perfectly acceptable but the steaks were superb and cooked rare as we requested. It’s not cheap even with the discount but it seems you can always rely on a good steak. In the past at Beefeaters if we have something other than steak it has not been very good so we now stick to steak. Don’t forget to enter your car reg when you arrive otherwise you may get a fine!

Its always a huge delight to visit the kingswinford, chips to die for, perfect steaks, brilliant waitresses which have a flare for their jobs. The management must be doing something right.

Was previously booked at the himley hotel for a 50th Birthday to be told could not put up party decorations last minute decision to book at the beefeater in kingswinford where we met Hannah the manager who was of great help and very accommodating we had a great night they decorated the table and put banners up for my brothers 50 th birthday staff where excellent and food was perfect overall a great night thank you to all highly recommend Alison Heath

The service was very slow, waitress was polite enough but everything took forever, drinks..waiting to order...food... they had run out of a few things on the menu but didn't think to tell us until we were ordering which is always annoying. When food did arrive it was average at best, we used the meerkat voucher thankfully so the meal worked out quite cheap but unless you have a need to visit this place I really wouldn't bother!

Parked here, went for drinks. Saw no signage & staff did not mention anything about needing g to register vehicle reg. Completely unnecessary to have parking restrictions in Kingswinford. Never coming back

Visited in July with all my family for a birthday meal, my meal of Paprika chicken arrived burnt and black at the bottom. It had to be sent back. Visited today again for another family get together. The meals were disgusting. My sister had the Sunday roast at £14 which arrived in a dish swimming in gravy. I ordered The Paprika chicken this time which came burnt black again and raw inside so I sent it back only for it to be returned to me having just been sliced open and recooked. Could not believe they merely just cut the chicken in half trying to salvage this horrific meal. What a joke !!!

Came to the restaurant last night, the table was clean, the choices were pretty good although surprised no curry on the menu, the lady who served me was really friendly and was happy to get everything I needed, I had the best burger and it was really nice, I have seen complaints about the chips but mine were pretty amazing, overall I liked the meal. Some people just moan for the sake of it.

Triple cooked chips? I would have been grateful for once. Madam's fillet steak was at least appreciated by the dog when we got home.

Great visit, excellent food, lots of choice, nice atmosphere. Didn't have to wait long for food, and our server Jodie P was brilliant! Very helpful and professional. Will definitely return and recommend it to others.

There is plenty of choice. We went at lunchtime so you could order off a lunchtime menu too which is a lot more reasonably priced. The food was good and portion sizes were good too.

Restaurant empty but extremely slow service and frosty welcome. Hair in main meal but no one came to check on us to ask how our food was. Waited for over 5 minutes when food arrived for waiter to bring a small pot of tomato ketchup, we had nearly finished by the time it came. Only 6 chips on the plate even though chips are unlimited, was unable to ask for more as no staff to be seen. No offer of drinks even though glasses were empty even when food arrived. Very disappointing, poor quality, poor service. Avoid.

Just finished visiting my mom at her care home and decided to stop and have a nice meal at the Beefeater on Friday approx. 1730 hrs, stood at desk to be seated and informed by member behind bar that Manager dealt with tables and therefore she could not help. Another member of staff saw me waiting came towards me and then turned round and walked back where she came from. Never saw Manager and never got seated as I left due to waiting time. Very disappointing.

"Aww... has she forgotten about you?" said one of the waitresses after noticing me waiting for over 20 minutes to place my order. What fantastic service. Our original waitress was never to be seen again at that point! We tried to flag down several servers... which you think would be easy as we were sat right next to the kitchen door and opposite both tills. But alas, we were just in a prime position to watch them all ignore us as they walked past. There was no apology for any of the delays or even an acknowledgement that the server would be with us shortly.

Serious investigation needs to be taken in regards to the Beefeater restaurant attached to the premier Inn in Kinsgwinsford. They have had numerous reports of food poisoning and yet they continue to run..

Visited here very recently when visiting family nearby and 3 of us had the £5 value meals and one had a standard meal being lasagne. Have to say the meals again from Beefeater were really good and didn't scrimp on the portion sizes. The lasagne was of a decent portion served with chunky chips and garlic bread and again value for the meal. We sat in the conservatory part which was nice atmosphere and although it was raining on the day this didn't affect the experience of the visit. Would definitely recommend Beefeater in general after two visits here recently to two separate locations and would recommend this Beefeater in Kingswinford. Look forward to the next visit.

Must admit the food was average but the service was rubbish. We were made to wait ages before the lady took our order and equally as long between courses. No smile or any manners what so ever from our waitress. Don't think we will be going again

Everytime we come to Birmingham we always stay here. The food is always top quality and tastes lovely. Never had a bad experience here. The staff is always very accommodating and kind. We were served by Nina and we have been served by her several times Everytime we cone here. She's the perfect definition of amazing customer service! She's bubbly, kind and always has a smile. Booked table but arrived half an hour early got seated straight away me the wife both had steak which was excellent and puddings which were excellent the best steak ever and the sticky toffee pudding amazing. Great service highly recommend

Once again visit , Last time Mothers Day and now Fathers day We always find the Beefeater well this one is really worth the return visit And we were very impressed and satisfied with our Lunch the 2 Dad's had the Mixed Grills cooked to perfection and the 1 Dad a large Beef burger with Chips and salad with the Grandson Adult Steak with Chips and only 8 The Mom's Smothered Chicken and Scampi Etc' and still managed a sweet the New Cherry Sundae . Rocky road and Chocolate brownie ice cream Can not forget a 5 star service from Jodie A Lovely Personality Girl who was most helpful with serving us and the waiting time was very good with us all getting our Meals Together Thank you to all

Decided to try the new lunch menu, good value for money, however service is very very slow despite being the only customers in the building. Food was lovely however had to keep asking for a refill of the juice, perhaps a machine would be better like in other pub chains? Other than that would return again

Lobster burger and a mixed grill. Not just for me I might add.

My wife and i arrived quite late as it was a last minute decision. We were told they didn't have a lot of choice left, but they had all the steaks if that's what we wanted. We decided to have steak.

Went to Kingswinford pub which is our local beefeater restaurant in Kingswinford as we didn’t fancy cooking. Had lovely meal although not the cheapest of places... There is a staff/supervisor issue here as when we entered numerous tables were waiting to be cleared of plates and glasses. Waitresses would bring food out but ignore tables that need clearing on their return journey (inefficient use of staff?)...a little girl of a staff member was running and playing at the bar shouting “mummy mummy” which didn’t go down well with customers...we shall use again but pub needs to maintain standards if they want to attract middle aged customers for food...customer interaction was generally good.

The food was good when we were eventually served. We were shown to our table straight away but then waited over fifteen minutes to be asked for our drinks order. It then seemed to take quite a while for the drinks to be served and our food order to be taken. The staff seemed friendly enough, it is just a shame the service was slow. The restaurant was pretty quiet also, so we were quite disappointed.

So dropped in for a bite to eat on a weekday evening. Was greeted with the lady at the front of house, who was about as happy to see us as you are when someone raises another discussion referencing brexit! After being thrown in our seats, I know architects spend an age designing buildings to get the outside in, but bringing in the smoking shelter I'm sure wasn't the plan. As the woft of cigarettes passed during our meals. The smothered chicken was something even captain birdseye would be embarrassed about and the coke with no ice came with a complimentary iceberg. Seriously how hard can it be to get it right. Steer clear and head to the glass works 3 miles up the road instead. Such a pity this place has gone like this. Apologies is so down beat but in fairness I could have been so much worse.

staff were ok , place was clean but the food was rubbish . I wish we hadn’t went ,it was a waste of money. I wonder how much training , how much dedication and how much desire does it take to get simple food so bad . We should have gone to the bell a bit further down the road ( always great food )

Fantastic night,great staff & lovely food.Came Thur night for my friends 18th,there were 15 of us.I had the beef & chedder pie which was delicious.Not been here for a very long time but will deffo be visiting again soon.

Daughter Booked Very wise as a very popular Place for Mothers Day and There were many families out in Celebration Good time 1 30 pm but still as we thought we had to wait being A Special Day The Staff were very good showing us all to our Reserved Table and serving our Drinks and the Menu ….six adults and one child The men all chose The mixed grills and the grandson 8years old A Steak ( one disappointment t run out of 7oz Steaks ? ) The three ladies Lamb , Chicken & Salmon very wel cooked and served as we required Medium Well done etc' not all chose a sweet Cherry Sundae Ice cream etc'

I would say a pricey for what is on offer. But good service and great staff which is commendable these days..

Nice beefeater. Parking is ok although the adjacent McDonald can impair access. Great beer from the bar unless they runout. Food has always been good. Friendly staff.

Had kebab starter, was full of fat and gristle, main mean I had steak and found a sharp piece of plastic in my mushroom. Staff couldn’t help enough to be honest, meal was refunded. Wouldn’t be returning due to this.

We booked a table at this restaurant for our sons birthday meal...the visits was faultless from start to finish the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you...the food was amazing everyone commented on how nice it was...thank you to all the staff and the lovely manager at the beefeater Kingswinford keep up the fantastic work

We had an over night stay at the hotel next door and were greeted by a lovely young women whom was very helpful.

It was ok, and served us well staying at the hotel next door. The staff are excellent and worked really hard whilst remaining very friendly. On the surface, the place looks lovely but most of the chairs are heavily stained. They could do with a change.

We ate here last week when visiting family and have to say that we can not find anything wrong with the visit at all! There are 'value' menus that are just that - excellent value. One of us had a sirloin steak, sauce and Potato Dippers (starter) for about £14. The other had from a Valentine's 3 course menu and had Potato Dippers, Chicken / BBQ Ribs and an ice cream sundae for about £19. All of the food was excellent - my streak was just perfect ! Service was very friendly from the lady who greeted us to the young man who served us. The restaurant had many clients who I think were on business trips but we also noticed a lot of families (and I am told that many locals eat there too).

We called in on the off chance we could get a table. We were greeted by friendly members of staff and seated straight away. We both had a three course Sunday Lunch and the food was excellent. It was presented very good and it was hot. Overall we cannot fault this place. Thank you for your prompt service and friendly staff.

I Went in for a meal with my family and we were instantly greeted by smiling faces. The staff are amazing and want to help in any way, the food was delicious for pub grub too! Will be visiting again

Had a very pleasant experience today, staff couldn’t do enough and excellent choice of food. We went for breakfast and didn’t turn up until 1030, but staff didn’t let it bother them and bent over backwards to accommodate.

Table booked for 1700, met with a good smile from staff and shown to table.The only downside to this was that we were right by the kitchen doors, this was a bit busy with staff in and out.

Never been out for Christmas Dinner before, so agreed to go with close family. There were 9 of us altogether. Table was booked for 3:00 o'clock, we arrived about 10 to, and were taken straight to our table. Ordered drinks and sat enjoying the atmosphere with other diners enjoying Christmas. Party poppers were popped and crackers cracked, drinks arrived, and the preordered first course duly came. It was very enjoyable. Main course was plentiful and served in good time. Finally sweets and finished with coffee and chocolates. All in all a lovely Christmas Dinner, which we may well repeat.

This is the 2nd time this year.. I have been in this bar, while staying next door. No sparkling wine in November, and then told in December they might have ordered rose wine as it’s not been in store for ages.

We booked a table for an early evening meal the night before Christmas Eve. It was a very sombre experience. There were only a few people dining, the atmosphere was miserable. No music playing, no Christmas tunes. Food was just about warm. A very disappointing meal which was over priced.

We visited the Beefeater for diner with my cousin and his wife; they had eaten there before. I was, to be honest, quite surprised by the very big choice on the menu, since I had written of Beefeaters in my mind and carvery and steak restaurants. All four of us chose a different meal and all of us were more than satisfied. I had the steak and cheddar pie which was top class.

Staying in the premier inn joined to the beefeater, we had out evening meals here, 2 nights in a row and it didn't disappoint!

Staff are incredibly slow, food is below average at best and absolutely no effort in appearance of food from chefs. Quite concerning how bad the food is when they can't cook a poached egg. No pride in the appearance of the place, regularly filthy tables and chefs look dirty and scruffy (Not ideal for food prep)

Can not fault the staff or the service we received.. but the steaks where tough and chewy salad that came with it was limp not the best.. salad bar area needed to be cleaned as it looked very messy.. but as I said all the staff where very professional and very approachable

Having had a long train journey we were all requiring a really good meal and I am delighted to say that we got this at the Beefeater. Lovely food, good portions, service was very good.

we stayed at premier inn which was fine as you would expect, however, more parking should be available for disabled, as these were outside the Beefeater - not outside premier inn, which had only 3 spaces. The Beefeater attached to Premier Inn needs drastically updating - there are armchairs in the pub area which have stuffing coming out of the arms as they are so severely worn. The seating areas are dark and dingy with very little atmosphere. In the restaurant the chairs are heavily stained, so is the carpet and the whole area could do with refurbishment and re-painting. We had a meal of 2 beef pies and mash potato plus drinks which was quite expensive. Not having finished our drinks we were asked if we were finished and would like the bill, even though we had just finished out meal and were still digesting the food with drinks. We were asked yet again can we vacate our table and move into the bar area where we could pay our bill as the restaurant was now closing. Bear in mind this is only 9.30 in the evening and we were the only ones in the restaurant - not a very good advert.

Another beefeater restaurant that is on our list of regular places to dine. Always excellent service with a knowledgeable staff.

We attended for breakfast with family who were staying at the neighbouring premier inn. The breakfast was average at best, especially for the price. But the service we had is the worst I have ever received at a restaurant. There were about 3 tables being served in the whole place. It was as if we were an inconvenience in the waitresses day. She barked at us when we placed our order, didn’t explain the different options and was just generally rude. Every plate was slammed on the table. But the biscuit was when we asked for a Costa coffee (which was included in the breakfast), she literally shouted at us “the self service coffee is Costa too you know, why do you need me to make one”. Well, since it was served in giant silver push top dispensers, and you hadn’t told us...no I didn’t!!! Simply shocking service, which if somewhere is busy I can forgive, but not here. We hadn’t been back since our last rubbish experience and it’s fair to say we won’t be returning. Rant over!

Been coming to this restaurant for a few years now...the services and food is always fantastic.The staff are great and nothing is to much for them..never had a problem with food we always have a great meal and I would highly recommended the place

Visited the kingswinford with my wife I had fillet steak. My wife had chicken coujons. Both meals were excellent. The service from Jodie H. Was brilliant and the banter with Jodie and Tracy W made the evening a very enjoyable experience

It's good as a standard meal out, good choice of food and decent quality. A bit prciey for what it is I believe.

We have visited this restaurant twice recently, both times as part of a group of people, and on each occasion we have been disappointed

Food was brilliant couldn’t fault it or the service. But I think it’s a absolute joke that I was charge 65p per pint to have a dash of lemonade as well as the price of the pints coming to over £4 for a pint of carling

My girlfriend and I have just been in for breakfast and felt we had to comment on how kind and friendly the staff were. Brilliant service and our waitress couldn't do enough for us. Food was lovely too we will definitely visit again!

We are regulars at this restaurant and I do try to review as much as I can as the service is always amazing and our waitress deserves the credit, luckily got seated with her again this evening, sophie is a delight and treats us so well, was a bit of a wait on food this evening but she seemed to have her hands full so wasn’t too much of a problem, manager Hannah offered us some drinks to compensate which wasn’t expected but very kind. Some really good deals and vouchers out at the minute too which is an added bonus Thanks kingswinford beefeater!

Terrible would not recommend, long wait for anything, staff unhelpful and rude. In particular the seemed manager that showed up to our seats and refurred to my wife with gluten dietary requirements when address as who is the awkward one?!

We use this restaurant semi regularly and the only thing I would say is avoid on busy occasions, as they tend to overbook and subsequently understaff.

I was told on arrival at Premier Inn that the restaurant was fully booked but I could have my meal in the bar area . I went to my room and freshened up and went into the restaurant. They were very apologetic and led me to bar area for my meal. It wasn't a problem whatsoever ever it was certainly nice enough. I had the mushroom for starters and the veggie lasagne with chips. Both were very tasty indeed and washed down with a pint or two of Doombar. Happy days

Visited last minute mid week.Waiting time for meals to arrive was very delayed.Unlimited chips were limited as in arrived after we had finished our meals!!! Manager really obliging and tries her best but waiting time for meals seems to always be a problem here and is getting worse. Menu now limited and décor a little drab.Seems to be more like a drop in for people using the Travel Lodge(attached) would not recommend for a special occasion. Food was ok (used a voucher)
