Bedingfeld Arms in Breckland

Spontaneous decision to eat out, didn't book but we were welcomed in, table found and settled. Unrushed service, delicious food.. the garlic mushroom starter was fantastic, the brisket melted in the mouth ... and the cheese board!!!.... great portions... First class.... no complaints from us. We will be back ❤️

Fabulous food, lovely ambience. Always serve Woodforde’s Norfolk ales If you want a special meal this is the place…oh and dog friendly too👍🏻

The food was excellent we had the chicken supreme and my husband had the beef brisket which were absolutely marvellous. We then finished off with the Eton mess delicious. The staff were very friendly and we weren’t rushed just left to enjoy the meal. Would definitely go again. .

Had a really wonderful meal at the bedingfeld arms. Every dish from starter to desert was absolutely delicious. Highlights included the seared pigeon, the meat board, the venison suet pudding, the beef, the lamb & the sticky stout pudding. Service was also excellent, warm & professional. Had a wonderful evening with the whole family (23 people) celebrating a 70th birthday. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout the evening and Andrew in particular was very accommodating and understanding of the needs of all. We’ll done Bedingfeld Arms you gave us all an amazing time.

Have to order at bar, waited as staff were occupied with sorting out some table number allocation mistake and obviously some internal issues regarding someone being blamed for some mistake. Barman quite unfriendly, told me to read menu at end of bar when I requested one. Ploughman’s turned up missing the ham and very small piece of bland cheese and no butter for bread. Waitress returned with ham on a small plate . Ham was good .

The pub has been updated and continually improves. It has a pub garden with external heaters as well. Nothing like an outdoor beer in the afternoon, together with some excellent sandwiches and chips that we were served. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a nice meal tonight but it was not without a few problems. The service was great and overall the food was fine. It was just a few things test could be better. No wine list on the table. And when we asked we were told to go and get them. Both our fish dishes did not have the tartare sauce and we had to ask for it although it was on the menu as being included. My friends wife found s bit of parchment paper in her fish pie which put her off her meal. Only small things but it stopped me giving a better rating. However to be very fair the waiter had taken off the deserts and the fish pie. A very nice gesture which was appreciated. We will return again.

From start to finish we were well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. We sat in the conservatory which was comfortable and well decorated. It was great to feel so special. The food was good and well presented, the fish pie was a particular favourite of most of our party along with the mixed platter for starters. Overall we were really pleased with our visit and would recommend to future customers. Thank you for making our visit wonderful.
