Tall Orders catered for our wedding. Absolutely delicious food, and nothing is too much to ask for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Their veggie sausage rolls are incredible! Thank you for being a part of our wedding day, we will be back for some cake!

We had Tall Orders catering for our wedding on 27th May 2023. They provided afternoon tea for the wedding breakfast, salad for the evening food and our wedding cake which was a brownie tower. The customer service and food was absolutely faultless and everyone complemented just how lovely it was. We have always been happy customers when coming in on weekends and will continue to do so!

Tall Orders catered for my parents anniversary celebrations. Everything was so nice and the waitresses such lovely girls. Nothing was too much trouble. We had afternoon tea served to the tables with delicious sandwiches scones cream and jam plus a yummy selection of cakes. The girls went above and beyond to help and can’t recommend them enough. Thank you for making the day so special. Everyone was full of compliments x

After a long wait, our ciabatta and baguette were both very disappointing. There wasn't enough filling in either to taste it and the baguette resembled an under-cooked long roll. There were no condiments on the table and I had to ask for cutlery. Our table was next to the baby high chairs which were very dirty and obviously hadn't been cleaned properly for some time. It was our first visit to the restaurant and it will be our last.

Friendly place & busy but then there’s not much real competition. Was offered a choice of tables which was nice however the flat white was average. Bottle line: for ambiance better than the big American chains especially in this town, but not for the barista part. Make sure you visit in company so as not to focus on the coffee. BTW they do meals as well but it was too early in the morning for me.

Very busy coffee shop. Friendly a Staff amd food nice and hot . Would highly recommend. Will visit soon

The staff were very friendly and the place was busy with tea and cakes We had a full English breakfast and pancakes with bacon an maple syrup. The food that came out look ok but was only Luke warm We asked for the full English to be reheated which they did with a fresh egg. The problem I think was the plates were cold which made the food very cold.

Very little filling in baguettes,limp lettuce,not value for money...seated facing the wall.will not visit again ..wondering why they are busy

Tall Orders provided catering for a family wake, at short notice just before Christmas. Sandwiches and cakes were delivered exactly on time and all the food was presented well and was delicious. I cannot fault their service.

Stopped here today,for a snack,my god what a treat it was,portions are very big,you won't leave hungry!!!! Only down fall the tables are small,but hay ho uou

Only had a coffee here which was reasonably priced, but it was so hot it burnt my mouth! Other people were eating and appeared to be enjoying their food, I noticed a table of four people all having scones which looked so pale and unappetising.

Sadly we were advised “ no jacket potatoes, beef or pork” after we had looked through the menus and decided! So we had to revise our order. My food, avocado with poached eggs and crispy bacon was cold and mush. Eggs broken, bread not toasted bacon cold disaster. Never again will I want to eat there. Service not great, cutlery not brilliant and overall no for us.

We had a delicious breakfast here. Coffee was good, poached eggs perfect, hubby had full English which he says was the best he's had. Not at all greasy. The staff were friendly and professional. Cafe was very clean. Definitely worth a visit.

Today Myself, My mum, Sister and Nan came here for lunch, we have been before and always have found it hit and miss and we ordered a lovely afternoon tea delivery from here in Lockdown so now restrictions have lifted we came here for lunch.We booked a table, however when arriving we were told to just take a seat & we explained we had booked a table so any preference and the waitress replied with “we haven’t put the reserve signs out” so we sat down. We ordered our drinks which were 2 Apple juices, a diet coke and a normal coke with 2 glasses, no glasses where offered with the cartons of apple juice and my glass given to me for my diet coke was filthy with dried food on the bottom. I approached for a clean glass and 2 more glasses for the apple juices.. one of the glasses given then had a bug in the bottom so again I had to approach the waitress for another new glass. Our food that we had ordered then came. My sister asked for no tomatoes in her sandwich and coleslaw- she got no coleslaw and tomatoes in her sandwich. The waitress just placed the plates down without asking any sauces or anything else and just walked off and this always gets asked when putting plates down in any place to eat. I then had to get up out of my chair to again approach a waitres asking for my sisters coleslaw and some mayonnaise. The waiting staff were so unapproachable. No one came and asked if our meal was okay and when we had finished our meal we waited 25 minutes with dirty plates infront of us including 4 other tables who had the same and still wasn’t asked if everything was okay. My Nan & a women from another table had to wave to the waitress and ask to have the table cleared so we could order some cakes. It seemed a problem anytime we had to ask for anything and had to wave down a member of staff to get any attention. There was an unfriendly atmosphere and we felt like a burden. Never have I ever had to try and approach a waitress so much for some service. My mum went to the toilet and there was no toilet roll and no soap and when my mum approached (again) a waitress regarding this they ebruptly replied with “ yeah we’re gonna sort it” and turned away. I went to another local cafe recently which was much bigger and much busier and had excellent service and excellent hospitality. My sister is a manager at a hotel in Sheringham and was appalled by the service received today for such a simple lunch out. I have never met such unapproachable and unfriendly waiting staff and service and I myself eat out a lot. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

I love tall orders they do lovely cakes and latte unfortunately today I was torn between cake and flapjack and the flapjack seemed wet very crumbly which was disappointing and not like their usual standard

Popped in for a coffee with my wife as we thought it was starting to rain, and ended up having lunch. Had a homemade beef chilli jacket potato with salad and coleslaw. It filled a large square plate and was delicious.The portions are a full meal size and incredible value for money. Coffee came in a good sized cup or mug and was very good. Staff are lovely, service quick. I live in Dereham and wish I had come here years ago.

We were at home when the door bell rang and on opening there was a very large plater that our granddaughter had done as a surprise I have seen platters before but this one was the best we have had with every thing from ham, beef, two types of cheese fruit very nice rolls butter well every thing very pleased with this and would willingly recommend TALL ORDER for service and delivery When in lockdown treat your self, or others it’s worth every penny Thank you all and our granddaughter for thinking of us.

Great club sandwich. Visited Saturday lunchtime as a party of 3 . Covid restrictions in place. Typical cafe style menu and food pleasing to the eye. All of us agreed food and drink of a good quality and fresh.

Popped on for a sandwich and wernt disappointed. Due to the present restrictions some tables have been removed and they were in short supply. We managed to get a table after a short wait. Food was delicious and was in generous portions. Prices were good as well. Staff were friendly in spite of the fact that they were rushed off their feet. Well worth a visit. They also do take outs.

We visited as a group of 6 during Help Out. Phoned to book and they managed to squeeze us in with proviso we had the table for an hour. Watched numerous people being turned away as they hadn’t booked.Staff working hard, moving tables to keep distancing. Door open as Gov guidelines so wrap up!We had tasty ciabattas, which cane with salad and crisps. There is a great selection of cakes. We took a boxful home- carrot cake, lemon cake, briwnues and Victoria sandwich. Huge slices and delicious.So important to support local businesses, we will be back.

I've yet to have a bad experience in Tall Orders and my latest visit was no exception. Despite the Covid restrictions, the staff were friendly and welcoming as usual and my order was spot on again. The sandwiches are always on the generous side, especially with a side salad and coleslaw, while the takeout menu offers a great range at great value. The only downside is the lack of ambience within the seating area, which is rather cold and could do with some background music or something similar. Still preferential to some of the food chains that operate in the town, in terms of value and quality.

We managed to visit at a quiet time and we didn't feel hemmed in with the threat of covid 19. Our cakes and coffee were delicious. The staff were using face screens. The second and third attempted visits, it was full, except for one table - which I am pleased for them but we couldn't enter, it was too crowded for us! Sorry girls.

I like stopping here for lunch. You get good portions and they use quality ingredients. The ciabattas are good.

Had lunch here today, Food and service excellent, but oh! the noise. A smallish room with a tile floor, full of people chatting: it was deafening. I found it hard to hear what my companion opposite me at the table was saying - and vice versa. Even worse when a party of six scraped their chairs over the tiles instead of lifting them. We left after eating and went elsewhere for coffee as a result. Please install some soft furnishings - even curtains would help - to deaden the acoustic. A shame, as the food was very good indeed.

Stop in this nice cafe for lunch first time in Dereham. Nice find we had a chicken club sandwich, chilli jacket potato and a cheese and baked bean potato. These were all very good the chilli all home made asked for sour cream on one one of these which was no problem. Chicken sandwich very good too. Cakes looked nice as well quite busy as doing something right.

We've recently spent a few days in Dereham on business and what a find. Friendly staff, great food and what a choice. It was just before xmas and the festive menu was exciting and original - well done. During busy times there was a wait but it was worth waiting for.

Nipped in for a quick coffee in the morning & ended up staying longer. Lovely atmosphere, cut above the rest. The flat white was very good and the cakes looked very tempting so selected a slice of a coffee cake. Generous size enough for two without doubt. However it was pure sugar so unfortunately the agreeable time was somewhat marred; certainly not for diabetics.Other point to note, you pay first at the counter and then its served to your table.Will return as the alternatives are unpalatable.

Always friendly and service is always good. Awesome selection of handmade cakes to suit everyone's eating requirements. I had a blueberry bakewell slice!! Glorious as always Always busy which says it all

We popped into tall orders the other morning for coffee and scone..... they were delicious, fresh, home made and still warm from the oven After I used the loo, which was clean, as I went out, I had to comment again how nice the scone was. Very good.

Being in town and having a lot to do I decided to visit Tall Orders for a lunch. Unlike so many cafes they do the wonderful Brie, bacon and cranberry out of the festive season. Served with a salad, this was a real treat. Service is always good as is the food on offer.It's obvious the food is good as there are always plenty of people eating there. Ideal spot to meet friends.

Visited for the first time finally after walking past several times and always wanting to try it. It did not disappoint! I was so happy to see french toast was on the menu; I haven't had this in years as hardly any cafes serve it. I was surprised but pleased by how cheap it was too. I had the french toast with bacon & maple syrup; my partner had the same but with cheese too. It was presented beautifully and tasted great! We also ordered a latte and hot chocolate and they have an extensive range of flavoured syrups. Service was really friendly, the girl behind the counter was helpful with checking prices for me. A great little coffee shop and I look forward to returning in the future.

My wife and youngest had discovered Tall Orders a few months back, but this was my 1st visit, I had the full English with a coke and my wife had the cheese, bacon and red onion, stuffed and loaded potato skins with coleslaw with a laite, the food was lovely and the staff friendly and definitely will pay another visit next time I’m in Dereham.

It started raining so I popped into the cafe for a coffee. They had some delicious red pepper soup, which was very welcome in the cold. Service sppedy and friendly as usual.

A very efficiently run cafe serving both snacks and bigger meals at very reasonable prices. A delightful establishment.

Have been here twice recently, once for coffee and a scone and once for lunch. The staff are friendly and the coffee and food delicious and very good value. They have some very tasty alternatives to the usual sandwich/panini/jacket potato fillings. The only negative was my fruit scone which was generous in size, freshly baked and very tasty but it only contained 2 pieces of fruit which I thought was a bit ungenerous considering it was described as a fruit scone. Probably won't put me off revisiting though.

Situated in a part of the Old Eagle pub this place has a welcoming ambience from both staff and decor. The menu is quite wide mainly of snack items,panninjs,sandwiches etc.They also have superb home made caks,buns and scones. There is a variety of hot drinks,coffees, teasm hot chocolate to.

Arranged to meet a couple of friends in here for lunch, unfortunately there was already a large party in the cafe, and while we were eating another large group arrived and started moving chairs and tables about. It became very noisy, luckily we were able to move to another table where it was slightly quieter. The service was still friendly, efficient and quite quick.

Two coffees, fruit scone and cheese scone, shared. Delicious. Friendly, smiley staff. I have been here many times and the service and food is always good.

Lunch with two friends. Two of us had toasted ciabattas with Brie,bacon,and cranberry. Delicious, and full of cheese and bacon. One of us had tuna jacket potato, again full of tuna. The tables and trays could have been cleared away quicker, but other than that, no complaints. We did not have room for cake, but there was some delicious looking cakes to choose from.

We decided to try this place for lunch, outside welcoming fresh and menu appealed, on arrival we identified two different tables, first cold near the door, second not so cold near the window. Noted entrance door not fitted correctly, draught identified. The counter staff pleasant and order was correct. Tables are dirty greasy & grubby, chairs not much better, edges of tables really bad, food arrived, noticed serving tray left was actually filthy too as were window sills, salt & peppers and accessories etc. .This ....doesn't give good presentation after hygiene rating is identified as good? Wifi signal okay, card given to gain code, filthy from other guests handling, be better printed on tables or menu? No notice of branding of Tall Orders on menu's blackboards or signs anywhere, we couldn't advise daughter who was meeting us where we actually were. Food okay, not particularly hot or tasty. Tables too close, conversations overheard from loud customers complaining about current teacher building strategies and opinions and staff. Not pleasant. Will not return sorry.

What a lovely place! Friendly helpful service with the most delicious homemade cakes. A little basket of toys (all very clean with working parts and all the puzzle pieces intact) kept the children entertained whilst the adults enjoyed the lattes and cakes.

Every Friday I meet a friend and enjoy a coffee at Tall Orders. Friendly, nice atmosphere. Excellent cakes. A little shabby maybe, but a nice place

Lovely place to eat in town the food was great, the coffee was spot on and the homemade raspberry and white chocolate cake was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be visiting again!

Visited for lunch. First impression was rather grubby. Floor dirty, seat cushions stained and everything just looked as if it needs a good clean. My cutlery was dirty and I changed it. The milk jug was dirty inside and the glasses which have sugar packets in were dirty too. I’m sure everything does get wiped down regularly and I did see a table get a quick wipe but the whole place looks like it’s ready for a deep clean. Was a bit worried about what food would be like. The food was delicious. However I always worry what the kitchens like if what you can see isn’t clean which does put you off.

Stopped off here today with a friend for tea and cake! Lovely choice of homemade cakes, i had a chocolate brownie and it was amazing!!!! Fab service and staff are all lovely and friendly 😀 will be back soon!

Nice cafe for light lunches and meals. Decor clean and tidy, has standard toilet facilities, service was pleasant and friendly and light lunch was well presented and tasted good.

Took my daughter to have breakfast today . We have visited the cafe on and off for the past decade but today we were disappointed with both the food and the service . We were heartened to note the addition of " smashed avocado " on toast as a healthy breakfast . We both ordered it . What actually appeared was pre packed guacamole on toast which really isn't the same at all . When I raised this with the staff I found the response of " well that's what she gets in " unsatisfactory , especially when I'm a longstanding customer . At £6.50 each I really expected to get what I had ordered . If the proprietor thinks Dereham customers can be fobbed off with sub standard offerings then she needs to have a better knowledge of her clientele . For the same price at cafe 33 / pandoras / hampdens , the quality would have been much better .

On way back to the car park we called into Tall Orders, after looking in at a few places in Dereham,deciding they were not for us at the others.

El personal era muy acogedor y servicial. Limpio y luminoso interior e instalaciones de wc. Precios razonables. Llamaría de nuevo si estamos en la zona va a Norfolk.

Tuve que atender a un cumpleaños el 90 de julio en Dereham pero viví 6000 millas de distancia. No es un problema para los pedidos que me asesoró a través de alto toda la fase de planificación. Lo que entregan en el día fue excelente. Recién preparada y sabrosa y una maravillosa tarta de cumpleaños. Simplemente lo siento nunca tuvimos la oportunidad de comer en su cafetería.

Amor nuestros almuerzos aquí, el personal es encantador ambiente es encantadora comida es genial 😊 ambiente es hecha. Y cae con un espacioso Americano.

No he iniciado aquí durante varios meses, por lo que me sorprendió que no estaba tan concurrido como yo estaba acostumbrado. Sin embargo, la comida aún estaba bien, tenía una ciabatta con tocino, queso brie y arándano y mi amigo tenía chaqueta atún patatas, ambos sabrosos y servido con ensalada, y tuve patatas fritas. Había varias deliciosas tartas buscando en oferta.

Came in with my daughter. The cakes were lovely. Not great access with a pushchair but would be perfect for friends to meet for coffee. Thank you.

Seems to have really gone down hill. Not sure if it's changed hands? Called in for a jacket potato - small, tasteless and was accompanied by three tiny lettuce leaves, 1/6th of a tomato and one single slice of cucumber which even as a garnish is ridiculous! The order was wrong as asked for cheese and baked beans but it arrived with bacon added. What a rip off at £5.95 for that and a coke! Tables were not cleaned properly and staff could be heard from the kitchen above the customers talking in the cafe. I shall not be going back unless standards dramatically improve.

Yummy cakes, great meals and cracking coffee! Wanted to try this place out and so glad I did, staff were all smiley and helpful, homemade cakes, great menu that's sold all day long.

I visited tall orders after passing through Dereham town and wanted a quick breakfast.I ordered smoked salmon scrambled eggs on toast with a coffee. The toast was nice, eggs cooked well. The salmon in places had the grey fatty bits that some people may not like but the fish was fresh. I had extra toast, so in total had four slices of bread I thought it was overall good value for money.Liked the complementary paper and the service.I would visit again.

Popped in for a quick coffee this morning & really enjoyed it. Jennie behind the counter is lovely & very friendly & the cakes all looked phenomenal. My wife had a cheese scone that looked about 3 storeys high & said it was incredibly light, fluffy & tasty. Had I not been on a diet, I'd probably have had one too!Coffees (a mocha & americano) were lovely & it was all very reasonably priced. If you fancy proper coffee made well by nice people, in a nice place, look no further!

First visit to tall Orders for lunch. What a pleasant surprise. A lovely busy cafe with helpful and friendly staff. Lovely food choice for lunch, really enjoyed it, will be going again.

We went to a wedding reception that Tall orders catered for, the food was beautifully laid out and was delicious, all home cooked food. Tall orders also made the wedding/ christening cake for the occasion which was beautifully done and tasted great. I would definitely recommend Tall orders for all occasions whether it's a coffee and cake in the cafe or outside catering, the attention to detail is always 100% and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Well done to all involved.

Randomly chosen - good food, friendly staff, quick efficient service - enormous milkshakes give excellent value

Been this morning with a friend for coffee n cake. The caramel latte I had was lovely n the cake was to die for, Caugette n Lemon. It was moist n really lemony. One of the nicest cakes I have ever tasted. The service n overall ambience is good, very nice place to stop for a while n enjoy a snack or light lunch but this review has been done to rave about the cake.

Popped in for a quick bite of lunch while passing through town. Toasted sandwich for my wife and daughter and I had the chilli jacket potato. Was very nice and the girls serving all very friendly. Cost was reasonable. We would definitely return!

First time visit and I think we hit the middle of a day where several things didn't seem to be going right for them. Firstly there seemed to be some issues with some of younger staff getting orders wrong. But these were quickly resolved but to me, in rather a matter of fact manner.Personally, my knife was filthy and with nobody around, helped myself to a fresh one from counter. My salad garnish had cucumber slices that appeared a little dry and possibly had been sitting around for a while. But my biggest issue was the 'baguette' It appeared to be of the part baked supermarket variety and was so doughy I question whether it had actually gone through the rest of the baking process - really not to my taste. I did not mention it as I really just wanted to finish up that which I wanted and get out. I really did not feel value for money. Interestingly, two separate couples came in, studied the menu whilst some waitressing mistakes were being made and they upped and high tailed it to next door restaurant.I do feel there are lots of contradictions here as my Wife really enjoyed her sandwich and had nothing but praise for the place although commenting on the apparent lack of personal feel about the place.T truly believe the management try hard and in main have a winning formula but cracks are appearing.I personally would not return but I would not deter others from trying

Got a table straight away, but wasn't sure what kind of service it was as no one spoke to us as we came in, found our table went and got our own menu's and then went and ordered drinks and food, food was ok when it arrived but nothing to rave about and wasn't that cheap for what you got, wont go back, sorry

Along with two friends we enjoyed a fantastic meal in good surroundings. Food quality was high and the staff attentive without intruding. Much laughter and a night to remember for all the right reasons. Will definitely go to another speciality night. Andrew

A firiend who lives near here got to hear about a Greek night that was being run here, so he booked some tickets.What a delight, the place is not overly large and has a really nice atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and the LAmb Kleftico was to die for.The waiting staff could it have been more attentive, really looked after us and we're genuinely happy to be serving us.Apparently they have done these evenings before,mi really wish I had known when the French one was run.Keep,it up, and hopefully I'll be back, even if it just for a coffee and a scone during the day.

Baked potato nearly microscopic,with what waitress described as a salad-small piece of greenery and one slice of tomatoe. Sorry,but that's a garnish so please get it right! Wouldn't go again. In my opinion, overpriced for what I received.

I would like to thank all the waitress for the service we receive on Friday morning, the coffee is top notch best I have had for a long time. The waitress are helpful and attentive keep up the excellent work. Peter.

I used to like this café but it has in my opinion gone down hill a bit. My last visit for a coffee and scone was a little disappointing, the scone was so hard and stale it smashed like glass as I cut it, I couldn't butter the shrapnel as there was just a heap of crumbs on the plate. There is far nicer cafes in Dereham nowadays which is a shame.

I visited for the first time this week. I thought the choice of coffees was impressive. The large cappuccino was excellent and I also enjoyed a home cooked fruit scone. I have tried other eating places in Dereham in the past and this was definitely the best I have found.

Went into Tall Orders on a very busy Saturday after meeting my mum for shopping. We were welcomed with a warm smile from all the staff who were clearly rushed off their feet. We ordered a club sandwich and a soup, to which they came out very promptly, considering the queue of people in the shop. The food was delicious, clearly freshly made and the soup was the perfect temperature. The staff were more than happy to meet my mothers preference of bread rather than a baguette, which some other restaurants in the past that I have been to have had a problem with. To my amazement, the 3 staff members handled the situation of a busy cafe brilliantly and were able to stop and talk to customers whilst completing their task to a high standard. We will be most certainly returning again, hopefully to the staff that served us in such a lovely manner.

God menu but a lack of pizzazz Soup was so gloopy it was spreadable when complained they just added water. Coffee was good. Pulled pork wrap did not seem fresh.

Having walked past this cafe every time I have visited Dereham and thinking how inviting it always looked I was extremely disappointed when I did go in last week. Decided to pop in with my husband for a coffee and a snack but struggled to find a table that wasn't dirty. The menu looked good and there were already a few people in the cafe so decided to stay and order. The food was okay but the cutlery and crockery was stained and I couldn't help but notice the tray that our food was brought over on was not clean. However the staff were pleasant and friendly and the service was quick. A quick sweep of the floor together with table clearing and wiping would have gone a long way to improving the look and creating a better impression. Unfortunately I won't be in a hurry to go back.

I had a wonderful late lunch here and was welcomed with a friendly smile even though it was close to closing time. My ciabatta was delicious and served with a fresh side salad. It was difficult to choose because the menu was very tempting, full of glorious home bakes. Service was quick and value terrific. The latte was also great, served piping hot and not bitter. Whilst there, a person in a wheelchair wanted to get in and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, unfolding a special ramp to make the cafe accessible.

The famous playwright and author Allen Bennett enjoying a meal at Tall Orders. It must be several years ago now since my encounter, but anyway i should be reviewing the shop not the patrons. This dining place is not far from Cherry tree (FREE) car park opposite Dereham War Memorial. You can sit and watch the world go by from the large spacious windows. Enjoy a large selection of beverages ,and you will have to have a strong will if you wish to risist the cake section. Or you might prefer to have your lunch at this establishment, I can endorse all of the above. Tall Orders has a loyal following, that should tell you something, but I can't guarantee you are going to see any famous people here again, unless you are one.

Staff were pleasant. Would be nice if table service was offered however This is a pleasant cafe with homemade cake and 'proper coffee'

Very disappointing cafe, dirty tables, surly staff and pulled pork roll quality was dreadful. Pork was chewy with bbc sauce leaving bad taste in mouth. So bad could not eat it. On the positive side my wife did have a homemade scone which was good, however even this was served with butter only... No jam. The coffee was also good. I would not recommend as there are better choices in Dereham.

Try to make this cafe a regular port of call on a Friday morning. The Cheese scones are delicious and hot chocolate good too.

Had lunch here with some friends and found the service and food to be excellent. Had the goats cheese and caramelised onion panini which, when washed down with a glass of chilled Rose, was delicious. I will definitely be returning to sample the cakes which looked amazing but unfortunately I was too full to order!

Tall Orders is a lovely clean cafe, service is excellent and the cheese scones are to die for! They cater for all age groups. You can have a lingering coffee while catching up with the newspapers which are provided. Or you can be with a few friends/colleagues "putting the world to rights"

Good quality food and drinks...brief visit but would go again. Lemon cake to die for and the latte was pretty good too.

Nice little cafe and we use it every couple of weeks for brunch. My only negative is that the poached eggs were cooked in a mould, sort that out and I'll be there every week!

The best cheese scones in town. Family friendly service with a smile. The only drawback is the draft from the front door.

An airy cafe with freshly produced food served in a friendly manner. It is a little more expensive than some cafes, but it is different. A small friendly atmosphere cafe with good selections of food. It's always welcoming.

Just had another good lunch in Tall Orders. Went for coffee and scone yesterday and today lunch. Plenty of delicious food, very busy, but still good levels of service.

I have been to Tall Orders over the years and it is always a pleasant venue. They have a constantly changing menu with a good selection of specials. They are always doing 'different' things too. Although it is small, it is comfortable, friendly, welcoming and they always strive to provide what you want. Food is cooked to order and they usually have a great selection of cakes.... a good place to visit if you are new to Dereham, or an 'old' resident.... well done them!

Food dreadful! Literally so bad I couldn't eat it! Wilted salad drenched in oil. Dry bread. Brownie burnt to a cinder! Avoid!

We visit Tall Orders regularly for tea and cake and sometimes lunch, the staff are very friendly always smiling and very chatty. The food is up to a very high standard our favourite being the chocolate brownie my husband won't have anything else ! Must try it if you visit. The value for money compared to many other cafés is fantastic, the food is of a very high standard and the portion size is great whether that be a slice of cake or a lunch. Overall we as a family give Tall Orders a 10 out of 10 for everything, if you are in Dereham Tall Orders is definitely a place to visit.

We ordered six cup cakes just before the lunch time rush, I owner couldn't have been more helpful she said she would bake them and we could pick them up later that afternoon. We were not disappointed the cakes were lovely and the service was brill. Would highly recommend you give Tall Orders a try.

While visiting family in Norfolk, we were recommended Derehams Tall Orders as a place to stop for lunch. With 4 children in tow, it's hard to find places that you feel comfortable in, but I have to say, the staff at Tall Orders couldn't have been more accommodating. They were more than happy to move some tables around for us, they were able to put together lunch plates to suite my children's fussy needs and my lunch came well presented and was yummy. I left the cafe satisfied that we'd be welcome back any time. And I will certainly go back, lunch for 6 isn't always cheap but we found Tall Orders excellent value.
