Walked into Dereham today. Said to my wife let's have a cup of tea and scone in Sunshine Cafe 🌞 We were welcomed with a hello and lovely smile from the waitress🤗 Our tea and Scone's with butter and jam were lovely😋 just what we needed before the walk home 🤗 Thanks to all at the Sunshine Cafe 🌞 See you again

Dropped in for some lunch and really enjoyed it. Good food and great value for money. Chicken burger with chips and a cup of tea for just under £7.50. Will definitely come again next time we’re in Dereham.

I went there today for lunch , and I had a big breakfast , which I thougherly enjoyed , it was all good fresh and very tasty , it was served by friendly staff , in a nice environment , I would thougherly recommend it to anyone , full marks 😁👍.

Really nice owner greeted me before I'd even set foot inside, he let me bring my bike inside so I didn't have to lock it up, refilled my water bottles for free too. Simple lunch with decent coffee at a very reasonable price, very clean inside and wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Thank you for having me.

1st time there, We only had breakfast, service was good, food was very good, can get busy at times, would eat there again. Give it a go

Absolutely love this place, portions are always a good size, never leave here hungry, staff always friendly, sometimes we'll just pop in for a latte and a sandwich and still just as good. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a tasty hearty meal

I had Shepard's pie, the wife liver & bacon. Both meals excellent & a nice mug of tea to wash it down.

me and my family ordered from them this morning and there food was absolutely delicious we had a great experience as the people were around 20 minutes and very friendly. The food was warm when it arrived and it was all very affordable. i have no complaints I definitely would recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately they served my 5year old toast that was mouldy bread, they did however replace it. I've revisited today and wanted so badly for it 2 be better, the waitress pretty much chucked my coffee at me and my friends after she originally bought us the wrong order, customer service was dreadful, like we were an inconvenience for daring to come In. Food was horrid... I've had to change my original rating to much less 😔

Just popped in for cappuccinoa which were great. Didn't eat but after looking at menu will next time. Good luck for future

We popped in for a coffee, which was very refreshing, cannot comment on food as we didn't have any. The cafe was clean, and very friendly. It was quiet because of the current situation, but we want to support independent shops and cafes as much as we can.

Bubble and squeak is just mashed potatoes and frozen mix veg the mushrooms are barely cooked halfway in to meal I got the toast not worth the money

Very nice & Friendly staff, food very good although a tad expensive, I don't mind paying for quality!! Very clean and easy access for me (disabled). Toilets nice & clean.

Helpful staff, but it was very cold. I don't like having to eat wearing my coat fastened. Also our food cooled down quickly. Even the waitress had her jacket on.

The food and drink is great but the service is really slow. I just waited 20 minutes for just a cappuccino. Staff are friendly tho.

Poor quality meats, caged hen eggs, soggy chips and hash browns, cold toast. All the things you would find in a cheap Greasy Spoon - but the prices are not cheap. Staff are friendly though

Lovely friendly welcome as we entered cafe. Found a table and quickly asked if we would like a drink. We ordered 2 omelette meals and were helpfully asked which accompaniments we would like with it. Drinks arrived. Large is very large. Well presented China. I saw lots of other drinks being served and all were beautifully served, cream, glass, China, etc. Very large portions. Lovely fresh omelette , salad . We both had to leave some chips as we were full . The young waitress was a delight. Great food and service. A smart cafe. Lots of happy customers.

My mother originally had 9 sisters, many are still around and in the Norfolk/Cambs area, and we used this for our annual family gathering as in recent years our previous venue, the George at Swaffham, had disappointed us (and been slow). This café was amazing. We had a long table to ourselves, loudly. The restaurant staff were amazing, but the food was superb and good value with many choices, we had our own table, all food came quickly and was abundant, and hearing us serenade my daughter's birthday, they immediately gave her a small free birthday cake with candle. Never again the George, from now on it's Sunshine every time. Variously we chose omelette, vegetarian breakfast (came with many mushrooms, which were nice small ones), fish and chips, ham salad .... all of us were pleased without exception. One aunt was in a wheelchair : no problem.

never been to this place before but it was spotless, very friendly staff, superb variety on the menu, excellent value from a huge plate of very tasteful food, A definite recommendation for an all day breakfast or any other meal 12/10 if that's possible

Noticed this in passing having taken a different route into town. Clean and tidy cafe with attentive staff. Menus clean which is a real bonus at this level although our sauce bottle nozzles could have done with a wipe. Ordered two all day breakfasts one of which was veggie and neither of us had any complaints about the quality or quantity of the food. Our very attentive waitress was taken ill shortly after serving us but there was hardly any loss of continuity and one or two minor niggles were dealt with promptly.The toilet facilities we would suggest are compact and bijou but immaculately clean and that says a lot.We prefer to support the more independent eateries and now we have found this one, we will return when next in town.

I have used this café/restaurant for quite a while every time I'm in Dereham I always call in for a drink and a meal the breakfast is especially nice and its served all day.

I have been in here a few times since it went into new ownership and have always received a warm welcome (although the cafe could be slightly warmer in temperature in cold weather)Simple all day breakfasts, burgers, jackets etc. but always nicely cooked and generous portions at very reasonable prices .

We went there one afternoon midweek and was really hungry for a late lunch and was greeted by friendly staff. Ordered burger and chips and latte and coffee. The burger was really filling and the chip portion was huge.It filled us up and I would go there again.

We've been to this cafe lots of times and ALWAYS had excellent service, fantastic meals, and greeted by exceptionally friendly staff. The price is brilliant value for money, spotlessly clean and we can't recommend it enough. The owner Henry goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and if I could give it more stars than I wouldn't hesitate to do so. It's well worth a visit if your in or near Dereham.

had a lovely fish and chips, cooked to perfection, with side salad? next time i'll ask for peas or mushy peas, salad for me is not fish and chips, ok, it was a nice side salad, if you like side salad, I do like side salad, with steak, or whatever, but not with fish and chips, was lovely though so no real issue, my own fault for not looking properly, will definitely go back, but will change that bit next time.

we have eaten here 3 times now and each time have been greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant and kitchen area are clean and the food is good and plentiful. Coffee is good and in large mug. I like to watch the staff cook so this is easily seen. Every breakfast we have tried is excellent. Well done.

I don't think this cafe has been open long, anyway we were pasting and thought we'd give it a try. Lovely and clean with what looks like a new fitted kitchen and waiter service. We looked at the menu and illustrated were pancakes with maple syrup. The photo clearly showing a stack of four or more pancakes with syrup on top. When they arrived two small soggy pancakes covered in a sea of syrup of some kind. A cappuccino with no head. A large coffee, more milk than coffee all for £10. I would say to the owners of this cafe, first impressions matter. If you are advertising food on your menu by photo, they should at least resemble the food that is served! Otherwise it is misrepresentation.

We went in as soon as they opened this morning (Sunday) as had a full day and wanted a big breakfast to start the day right. We placed our order for 4 breakfasts and then only received 3! My daughter asked for no bubble and squeak yet still got it. My boyfriend was tucking into his when he found a dark hair which made all the others not want to eat theirs. Spoke to the manager who wasn’t very helpful but if he thinks that the service today was acceptable he will be lucky to have a business in 2018!!! Better to stick to blue corner!
