We stopped here for a meal Friday night and can't praise everyone enough, so we went back for an amazing Sunday roast dinner. We will be back when in the area. Thank you to all the staff for going the extra mile.

Lovely friendly lounge with 3 tv for sports but sound was very very low so didn’t dominate the room. We were able to chat which was great. Obviously locals use the pub but we felt welcomed and folk chatted with us. Outside seating is clean and some seats can see a tv screen. Smaller front inside bar too Plenty of pump beers and other wines and spirits Lovely clean toilets.

The Beaconsfield Arms is a nice, local pub with two bars. The public bar is a simple, large square shape with bench seating, a pool table in the middle, music on the speakers and a telly on the wall. It’s a nice place to sit. Service was good as were our beers and this is certainly a pub we would use again.

We attended the scooter rally again this year and stay an extra day and have Sunday Funday 😊 we normally head to the Beaconsfield arms to start. Last year was a bit of a let down as there was not a lot of atmosphere, this year however was brilliant. We walked in and went into the lounge, there was 10 of us we sat down and the lads went to buy the drinks, the young lady serving was really nice, as we were sitting, the manager Kevin, shouted through and asked if we would like to buy raffle tickets for the meat draw, which we did. The afternoon progressed from there with Kevin having a laugh with us and his regulars in the bar, he introduced us to a card bingo game it was so funny. We only left as we had a table booked at 6.30 at a local restaurant. Kevin (Kevin/Colin) and his staff and regulars made us feel so welcome I just wished I lived closer so we could keep popping in. We wish them all the best and can't wait to see them all next year. Thanks again 😊

We dropped on this pub looking to park our camper van. Right in the centre of Bridlington, dog friendly, good food at reasonable prices for a sea side resort. We only stayed the day as we already booked a site for night but we will definitely be back for a weekend.

Did not have a meal in here but went in a couple of times whilst on holiday. Don't know who's who in there but the lady who served us on both occasions was pleasant. They have a largest beer garden at the rear of the pub and as it was a warm evening we sat outside. It was a bit raunchy but this was late in the evening. As for social distancing it could perhaps been little better inside the pub but our names and addresses were taken on arrival.

the absolutle worse place to end up after a nice night out. Landlady was more intoxicated than 90% of her customers. Pushing and laying her hands on many of people out in the beer garden. She then physically attacked another lady and when the lady defended herself and retaliated her husband then took it upon himself to start being aggressive and rough with the young lady. I have never witnessed owners/ management of a pub like it in my life. The place is very dull and dirty toilets really did stink and no social distance rules were adhered to at all. Absolutley shocking behaviour and I hope the landlady whom by the way is around 60 years of age learns a lesson or two about how to treat her customers or has her licence taken away for such discusting behaviour!! Avoid at all costs

Weve been coming to bridlington as a family of 10 for the past 4 years and have arrived this year as a family of 10 plus 2 babies now. We have always been welcome in this pub but this year was kicked out at 9pm as families aren't allowed in there past 9pm and they were very straight to the point and we all felt as though you either order and drink in quick enough time or get out. Theres now no place for any family here in brid to go which is such a shame. If your a family looking for a week away dont bother going to bridlington as no where let's families in past 9pm at all.

Having driven down from NE Scotland ( over 420 miles!) my friend and I found our B & B and offloaded our stuff. We were hungry having eaten an extremely uninspiring and overpriced panini at the Southwaite Services along with an extortionately- priced coffee. Across the road from our superb accommodation we saw a nicely lit and inviting looking pub so we went over for a couple of pints and some good pub food! It was 7.30 pm and it was very quiet for a Saturday night, but that suited us fine.

We went in twice since new 'manager' took over.Place has been cleaned up, but seems manager wants it to be a rowdy, loud bar full of kids. In his own words "don't want any old fuddy-duddys in here". He obviously does not know that this pub's major clientelle were of the older variety and kept the place buzzing every fri, sat and sun (when it used to kill the hotel across the road. Went again and heard him telling a (mature) couple if they did not like the TV loud and the (landlord) shouting at TV then "they should leave - you know where door is". No food, no entertainment (the two items which this place used to be famous for). And be careful if you want anything except beer - my partner's Baileys tasted of coconut!!! Mark (the manager) you have got yourself a bad reputation from square one and handed all your regulars to the other places around there. I believe manager has a very poor reputation from a previous pub he 'managed' - well all we can say is - no lessons learned. Avoid this place if you want a pleasant evening out...What a pity - such potential gone down the tube again...

Traditional Pub, it says on the sign. Not my first visit here, we usually visit Brid over Easter weekend and we've had many happy hours here. Last year, John and Sam who were the licencees at previous visits had left, but the staff were the same and the food was really good. So, 2017's visit. Yes, it's a traditional pub, that is trying hard to recreate that traditional pub atmosphere. So, traditionally, the pub stinks of stale cigarettes and spilt beer. Until you pass the toilets, when the distinct tang of last night's urine hits your nose. Also traditionally, there's no food unless you want crisps or pork scratchings. The beer is traditional, if too-cold-to-taste John Smiths smooth is part of your tradition. The staff (one of) spend their shift traditionally glued to their phone, and obviously see customers as an inconvenience. I was told (in the hotel bar across the road) that the place is owned by a PubCo who are looking to build the trade. It looks to me like someone wants the shutters up for good so the place can be levelled and turned into flats or something. Executive Summary: Dreadful. Avoid.

As can be seen on the picture on the site there are lots of adverts inviting you in to eat food. One stated 'served till 8pm' so at 6.30pm on a Thursday night went in and found the place empty apart from one man behind the bar either texting or playing a game on his mobile who ignored me . I said 'Evening' he looked up and I asked where the menu was. He said 'We don't do food' . I said ' But there are loads of signs announcing food outside' . He shouted ';we don't do food' and looked quite unpleasantly at me . So I left. As I did so a woman having a smoke outside commented that I had not stayed long . I explained and she told me the man was new and had not yet even employed a chef . Perhaps a sign outside saying under new management no food yet available might be better than shouting at folk

We visited the Beaconsfield Arms the first day of our holiday and thank goodness it was the last. We ordered 5 main meals and a round of drinks which cost £53.00. We were told there was a 45 minute wait for the chicken as it was cooked from fresh. When the first plate of food arrived we laughed. It was supposed to be cumberland sausage with a mustard mash. The sausages looked like road kill!! The chicken was supposed to be hunters chicken but looked more like a defrosted chicken portion in a greasy water like fluid. Gross!! We complained to the server and was just told 'sorry about that' in a disinterested manner. Think if we had asked for a refund it wouldnt of made a difference. A customer came in just before 7pm and was told the kitchen was closed even though it is advertised they serve food until 8pm. Would not recommend this to a starving dog!!

Ordered two Sunday lunches which were £14 for 2 with free dessert which seemed excellent value.....there is a reason....it was horrendous. Waited 1 hour for our food. They served another table that sat after us with our order. They promised ours would be next - 2 visits to complain later our food arrived. The 2 small pieces of roast beef were dry and tasteless. The veg was overcooked, the yorksire pudding was a soggy dumpling. We were both so hungry we ate it. The desserts were slightly better. But again we had to ask the serving staff to clear our plates and ask for the dessert menu. Another table were also left dissatisfied as they had failed to serve 2 of their party a meal and then had run out of pork. They were not busy they just didnt seem to have a clue. Went for a meal last night. Up to the bar to order drinks and order a meal. Drinks have to be paid for separately from food. OK. Went and sat down and ordered our meal which was rib-eye steaks. What arrived was a very large plate of steak and chips. No problem., as we couldn't finish it, the staff wrapped the remains for us to take away with us. Problem for us was when we went to pay, they don't accept cards and it's cash only?? Fortunately we had enough to cover the cost. There should have been signs up to highlight this point or have it brought to our attention as we ordered. One small point, I don't know what paint they have used to paint the tables but they were all "sticky". Other than that, no complaints and I would recommend the peppercorn sauce.

This was our first visit since the new management took over. My steak & ale pie was lovely. Very tasty with plenty of meat & excellent gravy but my husband's filled Yorkshire although tasty was lacking something. A few peas or carrots - any veg! - would have livened it up both in presentation and taste. The atmosphere was good & the place & staff clean & welcoming. The menu is typical pub grub but for basic food it is worth a try

The meal was cheap and good value. However, the gents toilet was filthy. I wonder how clean the kitchen was! When I asked for a receipt, I was told "We don't do receipts" how bazaar!

We called into the Beaconsfield Arms for a meal last week as it was close to our B&B. We had fish & chips which were beautifully cooked & a decent portion size. Crispy batter & proper real potato chips. Staff friendly & service quick.

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and prices were very good too. Popped in on Monday night and there was a music quiz night we just listened in but it was a great atmosphere. I went into The Beaconsfield for sunday dinner with my father who is disabled. It was recommended to me by a friend. So thought id give it a try. The accessibility is great for disabled with having its own car park and having no steps to contend with. The staff and the landlady there are only too helpful to attend your needs and the service is also super quick. We ordered 2 sunday roasts. Which may I add only cost 10 pounds. From ordering to being served to our table must have not taken anymore than 5 mins. With a good selection of meat. Beef pork or turkey from what I recall. I had the beef which was lovely and came with all the trimmings and homemade yorkshire pud mmmmmm :). The dining area is also very clean and nicely set out. Think one of the staff said it had been refurbed. Looked nice anyway. I decided to go in later that afternoon for a few drinks and the atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly and they had play your cards right and other games going on. A proper good laugh was had and I felt more than welcome. Plus the fact the prize pot for play your cards right was a 1000 pound. Not bad hey lol. Its a great pub and I will definitley be visiting again. 10 out of 10 in my opinion A+++

This was the second time we had been here for a drink. The first time the bar made charged us wrong and we paid too much, even though she had a calculator...We called again Saturday it was lovely outside so me and my daughter sat outside, myHusband went for drinks. Five mins later he came back come on we're going I said what's happened..He said, I asked for a pint, she gave me it, the glass was filthy, fully of lipstick round the top, I saidExcuse me love it got lipstick on it, oh has it... And left it, I said are going to change that she said or rite, so she pulled me another, it had lipstick round the same, I said have you got a dishwasherHere she said yes but it's not working properly. He said omg you are serving drinks in glasses giving them to people and there not been washed Properly surely that's a health regulation. He said she just looked blank. I said keep your beer I'llGo somewhere else that's is disgusting. We were thinking about eating here one weekend but I tell you if they have dirty glasses what's itLike round the kitchen area.Don't go.. It's a dive and wants condemning...

We had heard very good reports about The Beaconsfield Arms since the new owners took over about a year ago but never got round to going ourselves until this week. Having been once we will certainly be going again! The landlady was welcoming & friendly & knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. Besides the menu card they had large blackboards on display offering a vary varied selection from main meals to cream teas to melts - just about everything you could think of! I was pleased to see they offered 3 vegetarian choices 2 of which weren't pasta (pubs usually do 2 at the most) and settled for the Broccoli & Cheese Bake which also had thinly sliced new potatoes in the rich creamy sauce. It was delicious! You can choose what you have to accompany your choice & I opted for chips & salad. As the portions are very generous I think next time I'll just have the main dish without accompaniments. My husband's Lasagne with chips & salad looked very tasty & I was assured it was. Chatting to other lunchtime diners who all turned out to be regulars we were told that the standards there are always very high & as we had already discovered you are spoilt for choice. At £5.95 each it was certainly well worth the money! On Sundays they do a roast dinner at 2 for £10.The Beaconsfield Arms is just slightly away from the town centre and has outdoor seating & a large carpark. They do not serve food on Mondays .

first few times the super steps breakfast was really good. Friendly staff good prices. Within the last few days went again but although the breakfast was the same size the addition of a 6" piece of human hair on the plate was off putting to say the least. Not going again

Nipped in for a beer whilst out shopping in Beverly. It's a little difficult to find as it's on the next street back from the market. It's a bit like Dr Who's Tardis, looks small from the outside, but it's not, its massive inside. Lots of the usual spoons drinks on offer, plus lots of real ales on the bear festival menu. Toilets were of course, upstairs!

Stopped here forca quick drink while out in the town. Love a mocha from here and husband loves the Americano with milk. Nice shop, usually very clean but was very busy so tables were not being cleared as quick as usual. We ended up clearing our own! Staff friendly and polite and drinks good value for money.
