Had a cocktail making class and our host adam was amazing, great sense of humour and was very happy to answer all the questions we bombarded him with. The class was very fun and informative would recommend it to anyone. Adam recommended me a coconut tequila which was the best thing I have ever had so props to him 5/5

Booked a cocktail class. Amazingly friendly barman Olly looked after us - great sense of humour, brilliant music, and awesome atmosphere at 5pm! Cocktails were delicious and we all had a brilliant time and many laughs. Strongly recommended.

Bogof cocktails that don't taste watered down like some places! Great selection. Queues at the bar a little longer as each drink takes longer but well staffed and friendly service.

Best bartenders and atmosphere ever in Chelmsford!!

Went to go there for a special Sunday afternoon. According to their website opens at 1. Nobody there. Google states 2, nobody there. 3pm still and empty shell (though the doors open and I could go and help myself is so chose!!)

Be At One in Chelmsford proved to be the ideal location for our company's summer party. We were so impressed by the lovely rooftop space that provided a perfect setting for our event. The staff were truly fantastic, in particular Oliver, he was friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout. The venue, staff, and delicious cocktails all contributed to a fabulous evening! We would not hesitate to book this venue again and would recommend to any company looking to host their event. Thank you again Be At One!

I when last night in Be At One Chemsford and is a great bar with friendly staff and tasty cocktails. The happy hour deals are fantastic. The general manager james is super cool and he look after you in amazing way Perfect for a fun night out!

A massive thank you to Adam and the team for looking after me and my friends on my hen do last weekend, even organising a table on arrival after we’d been let down at another venue. Music was on point for dancing, cocktails were delicious. Photobooth was an added surprise with lots of memories taken - Thanks again, we’ll be back!

Absolute rubbish plonkers, I have come here for years and today I witnessed prejudice from a brunette male bouncer, not seen him before and decided on my friend not being allowed before even talking to us, disgusting service! Never coming back. Edit: He didn’t stagger because he wasn’t drunk. Thank you for your pointless response.

Service is great, really friendly, only good thing to say really. first time going there so didnt know people pre book all the tables, kinda kills the atmosphere when everyone has to stand in a small space around a bunch of empty pre booked tables, especially after paying a lot for pretty average drinks, wont be going again.

We had a cocktail making masterclass with two awesome cocktail geniuses for a hen do! Nothing was too much hassle, they made the day so much fun, great songs playing, loads of cocktails made and drunk! Absolutely fantastic masterclass, really thoroughly good fun and goof value for money! You'd def want to go just for the staff alone who are just so much fun and really made our party! Highly recommended!

Nice private hire are upstairs and decent tunes played bot upstairs and downstairs. Good for a few beers out and the Mojitos were on point.

A hidden gem! After visiting Pop World and Slug and Lettuce, we were feeling very disappointed until we stumbled (literally) across Be At One. The cocktails were incredible and 2 for 1. The music was on point, everything we wanted. The staff were energetic and clearly loved their jobs. We had an amazing night and will definitely be back!

Have been here a couple of times, once with partner and once with a friend both times on Friday and Saturday. Busiest days but always get the best service! The staff are really friendly and attentive. The cocktails are always lovely. Adam was really chatty and talked to us about our night and the town etc. will definitely go back thank you

always a decent night out. Can take longer to get served than a traditional pub - but well, who wants a traditional pub anyway? Door personnel are polite and friendly and bar staff nice. Its usually somewhere i will always suggest for a night out in Chelmo now.

Nice bar, nice atmosphere, however the only reason I've marked it down as there needs to be more service staff as it took forever to get served.

Hi there, It came too my attention last night, visiting the toilets after a few of your house beverages, Absolutely alarmed by the state of the toilets! I would have given the evening a 3/5 but baring what I witnessed, I may have to reconsider my judgement.

I came here with a group of friends, all got our own drinks, it took a long while as busy. Having been a bar person myself, know how hard it is to keep up, so was fine with that, music was great, doormen were polite, bar lady I got first was lovely asked what I wanted single/double. Later I asked for 3 drinks when i was told the price by a young male barman, which was high, knowing what mine cost last time, to find he'd got me doubles, one I never asked for doubles, if you don't say doubles you give singles, so he was trying his luck. So much for a bar making sure their customers are drinking responsibly. Please train your staff to do their job properly, or you could end up with wasted drinks, that people won't pay for.

Unfriendly bouncer would not let me because my trainers had a 'bubble' in them.

Security seemed to have been trained by the SS. Hostile from the second you walk in. Don’t look them in the eye as you might upset. When you ask why you have to leave, they pretty much tell you they’re bored.

A great place to meet with friends and have a catch up. The roof terrace is lovely. The staff had great banter and very friendly. The atmosphere just got better and better as day became night. Would highly recommend. Well done guys

I've been a regular since Tom but since he left I never felt like a regular since James joined. Since then I've always felt welcome and I truly look forward visiting. Oli as a bartender on a peek night is the best, especially when he dances to pony!! I've never felt like I've been treated as an individual in such a busy bar . In a room of 100 Oli makes you feel like number one

Was empty on a Thursday night and closes very early (bar closes around 10pm). Cocktails were good and the few people there were dancing.

If you want to wait 20 minutes for your drink whilst the barman dance/attempt to perform to the music then this is the place for you!

Had a recent visit to the bar and was not disappointed. The cocktails were delicious and made how I like them. Overall had great evening and will come back.

Had the most wonderful experience at Be at One Chelmsford for my 20th birthday.The staff are absolutely lovely and so were the cocktails. I would definitely recommend to everyone. I had booked out the rooftop bar and the bartender Oliver did an amazing job of keeping us all entertained and making the best cocktails!

Popped in on a sunny Saturday afternoon and most tables were reserved for the evening (a good sign no doubt!). The bar staff were so welcoming and friendly and brought us up to the rooftop bar. They were all true professionals and knew the ingredients from an extensive cocktail Menu without having to check. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs and one awesome and passionate female staff member (I didn’t get her name 🙈) even told us about the annual group cocktail competition and spoke so highly of the winning Pantera Rosa (which was delish!) and proudly showed her runner up arm bands!! So nice to see people who love their job and do it well! All premium spirits and mixers mean the cocktails are absolutely delicious and great value. Tunes were also epic! A fantastic way to spend a sunny bank holiday afternoon. We’ll be back when next in town 🍸

Visited this venue for the first time last night with a friend and I probably won't be returning. I have never been searched in such an invasive way before, who choose to only search me and not my friend - then got followed me into the toilet soon after by the same security guards. He let my friend walk into the bar and didn't say a word to him but choose to practically strip search me. Felt very strange, uncomfortable and intimidating.

Been in here quite a few times and sick and tired of ordering double spirits and it is always free poured and when I challenge and ask for a measure due to the lack of pour the waitress or waiter always says they have been trained by their manager to free pour and they only free pour in this bat. I could have sworn it was illegal to free pour spirits in the UK. If this is true then alcohol regulators please investigate this bar.

Overpriced. For the money expected better than something that looked and tasted like something you’d get in a Wetherspoons.

2-4-1 Cocktails provided some really good value for money and they did taste really nice. Music was a little loud, bar staff did touch the ice with their fingers a little more than I would have liked and my friend did not have a great experience with some of the bouncers

Thomas pipe is sub par at golf, however Dennis is as good at golf as he is handsome

Visited the venue with a table booked and £25 deposit, forgot to redeem the deposit but spent several times over the value and phoned up a few days later to get a refund/bar credit which isn’t an unacceptable request. Head office emailed the venue and didn’t get a reply back for weeks so I then went to the venue early feb and asked if I could have a refund/credit to which I was told they couldn’t find my table booking as it had already been refunded and would take 5-7 days to show. Nothing materialised so then visited early march again and was basically told nothing could be done as the receipts are wiped off the tills as it had been so long but the manager said he would check for an email from head office. Won’t be back with that tragic level of customer service :)

The bouncers weren’t very friendly. No one showed us to our table which we had booked, we had to find it ourselves but no one explained this to us. I booked specifically from 8pm as the website advertised that to be happy hour. When we ordered our drinks we were informed that it was in fact not happy hour, despite this being advertised on the website. We had also paid a deposit and trying to explain this to the bar tender was like pulling teeth.

Great atmosphere, great fun. Will have to book a table if you want to sit down. All of the staff seem to really enjoy themselves and it adds to the night. Great selection of music, really enjoyed our visit.

Came for a night out here on Saturday with a friend. We made the most of the Happy Hour (pre-7pm) and grabbed a few cocktails to get us started. The drinks and service in Be At One are always amazing, which is why we love coming here. No matter which Be At One you go to, the standards are always just as high as the last. The cocktails themselves are always such high quality and the bartenders are extremely skilled in what they do. Thanks for a fab night out as always! 🍹

We visited on Valentine's Monday. It is a perfect place to have some delicious cocktails. The waiters are attentive and very professional. It is a lovely place to go with friends or partner.They play music. I recommend it 100. The drinks are spectacular. You must go!

Booked a table, my friend is showing signs of covid so wanted a refund rather than puttig evryone at risk and he refused he said i was too late even though nobody was picking up for chelmsford branch - so he said its still my table so i literally said your willing to put everyone at risk rather than refund me adnd he put the phone down - what a joke and discusting behavior
