amazing coffee and has amazing customer service from the staff. will be coming here a lot often now! Keep it up!!!

First visit, had a classic pasty which tasted good but sadly had a huge bit of gristle, at least 20% of pasty volume! I showed this to staff who's only response was, 'we don't make them'. True but they do sell them. Bad customer service. Won't use again.

Wife and I had a tea and coffee at this lovely place in the Harvey Centre. Lovely open atmosphere. Wonderful service with a smile. Thank you BBs.

Came by here during the month of December during my Christmas shopping on a couple of occasions, service and food was lovely. I was very surprised they have gluten free options. They offer gluten free sandwiches and muffins. I’m almost certain the only place in Harlow town to offer gluten free :) Only criticism is that the GF toastie is the size of your palm… so it’s quite pricey for something you only get 4 bites of. Other than that lovely

Bought Americano coffee which I sent back as it tasted like coloured water. Second cup arrived which was stronger but really bitter. Very expensive at £3.00 per cup. With lots of competition they really need to up their game.

While shopping and feeling peckish I stopped for a cuppa and a hot sausage roll. Very quick service even though they were very busy. But my sausage roll was cold in the middle which I realised when I’d taken a bite. Took it straight back expecting to get a fresh one but got my one back again, just heated up more, gone dry and burnt slightly. Worst hot sausage roll ever!! Shame. This place has definitely gone downhill. This is why Greggs do so well on their pastries. Next time I’ll go back there! Nice cup of tea though!

Passed by and fancied a coffee and some muffins as a treat, both the latte and the muffins were lovely, my only criticism is when you order a a panini or toastie (when you eat in)- you don't always get a salad like you used to, but it's a lovely place to stop for a bite and a drink. :)

I've enjoyed my recent syrup lattes there along with a nice toasted sandwich when hungry, price can be a bit more than some places, but acceptable. Staff are friendly and polite and helpful

My mother and I ordered our drinks, with one person behind us. My mum ordered a coconut and mango frappe as on their menu and I ordered a milkshake. I paid and 15 minutes later we were given the milkshake and a raspberry and white chocolate frappe. I explained that we hadn’t ordered that we had ordered the coconut one to which the female server said “this one is better” I explained again it’s not what we had ordered the woman then said they didn’t have the coconut and tried to tell me “you need to understand raspberry and white chocolate is nicer” ... so I explained we had ordered the coconut and mango as it’s on their menu and we were not told they didn’t have it. She then brought the woman who took our order over who didn’t even say two words just shrugged. I then said “my mum doesn’t like that flavour so if I can get my money back that’s great” the woman then took 10 minutes to decide that she would refund me for the order they got wrong. 25 minutes we waited for one drink, one incorrect drink, to have my intelligence insulted and for a small refund. Not even a “sorry for the inconvenience”. Absolutely horrified with the whole experience. I understand mistakes happen, I have worked in the same environment, but there is no need to be rude, dismissive and arrogant about it.

The welcome was almost nonexistent hardly a grunt, but nevertheless our coffee was served in good time. The flavour is very average and not too hot either. The tables were clean and tidy as was the floor.

While it may look nice. Dont be fooled. Its disgusting. When I ordered the server didnt even ask what size I wanted and automatically charge the higher price for the bigger one. I didnt mind its alittle annoying but hey I love elderflower and I like iced tea so I didn't mind. They pulled out a book and tried to find the recipe. Maybe they had just never made it before but still... they proceeded to bounce back and forth about what things go in and not. I was confused as shouldn't it be easy? Especially if the recipe was right in front of them They filled the cup to the top with ice and filled 1/4 with iced tea. Then to my surprise they then filled the rest with SODA WATER. They pasted me the cup and I noticed it wobbling. The bottom of the cup was curved so it could get knocked over at the slightest touch. I pointed this out and asked if they were going to give me a lid to which they just stared at me. I'm guessing they have no lids? Why does a cafe have no lids. In a effort to sort out the problem they offered to put it in a hot drink glass or use a coffee cup as a cover. I took the coffee cup and it was quicker. I sat down and took a sip. Disappointing and disgusting. Not only could I only taste the soda water but I couldn't taste a hint of elderflower because of it. There was a mint leaf and a slice of lemon. That was all I could taste flavor wise and even that was just a bare hint. In the end I left dissapointed and with a bad taste in my mouth The only good part was the seating area. I used to come here alot to get hot chocolate and stuff but that was such a let down

I have been coming to BB's for years and thought it time to give them a well deserved good review. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. And they serve the best coffee. Forget Costa, Pret, Starbucks for a really good coffee BB's win hands down every time. Really glad Eric and the team are back it wasn't the same without them.😀

Great place to stop for a coffee and a freshly baked cake. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I like to stop here while the rest of the family go shopping and have a coffee and read my paper. Highly recommend you stop off here if you are shopping in the town.

The welcome was warm and friendly but they certainly do push the large size. My medium flat white and latte was average in flavour. The tables and floor were clean and tidy.

Often pop here for a quick coffee at lunchtime and find that they always remember exactly as I have my drink and serve you quickly, even when there is a queue.

I came in has it was my break from work bought something from Tesco “sat down “ And then they ask me to leave because of customers never seen this in my life and won’t be coming back .

I went to bbs today with my friend and her mum i ordered achicken and sweetcorn baguette and took one bit and it was moldy and my friendsmum hsd a seafood sandwich abd it had hair in it

Was very surprised to find the BEST muffin I have ever eaten in the middle of Harlow Shopping Centre. They have some different recipes and it really was so moist and delicious. The service was also excellent and friendly. Thank you.

Went today and ordered 2 mango coolers medium sized show with cream on top

First time visit, I usual go to Starbucks or Costa. I was amazed how fresh the muffins were absolutely delicious and a huge choice. I’ve eaten in Costas and Starbucks and had disappointedly stale cakes not anymore will always visits B.B. Muffins now. The staff were exiectionaly friendly and it was really clean. Top marks. My Frappuccino was absolutely delicious too and bought over to our table no waiting for ages in a queue. Best coffee place in the Town Centre.

I came here a few times when I visited the place the customer service was great and especially by Sam. The place is good and worth the trip. Definitely will be visiting again

I visited this place for a coffee whilst out. My second time. First off, when I ordered a small (like I usually do), they took my order twice - I got served and then served again. Then they tried to get me to have a larger size but I insisted I was going to have a small. Next, after they gave me my cappuccino, they asked if I wanted chocolate. I said no whereupon they sprinkled chocolate upon my coffee. I was not going to ask for them to make me another because I was on a tight schedule. I won’t be coming here again.

I only drink coffee and love the latte from this friendly little cafe. Service is always good, although we do not usually have the food, only perhaps a muffin occasionally. Comfortable chairs and we are never rushed, so always enjoy our visits here.

Always come here! From the beautiful fresh yummy warm cakes (omg to die for)!!! The great range of hot and cold foods and drinks (always fresh and affordable)!!! And the helpful and friendly staff.. it’s an absolute must! Always get a smile! Couldn’t ask for more actually! Highly recommended!! See you again very soon!!

It's sad to hear that others have had such a bad service recently. Luckily I have never had bad service, drinks or food. My granddaughter loved the bacon bap and mini muffin! My advice is to try for yourselves and if there is a problem, just ask staff to sort things there and then!

I only ordered a take away coffee but ignored by the barista (Manager)and the people behind me were served first with 2 coffees and a panini. They noticed and asked him what about the customer in front so it's a shame he couldn't see me! He knew them so obviously only wanted to serve his friends first.When i did get my coffee there was no apology! Don't go there if you want good customer service go to Costa as i wish I had and i certainly will in future.

There is one member of staff that makes every single visit a complete disaster. I have made several complaints yet nothing has happened.

Terrible more making money than quality of product and service. I think the restaurant owner thinks he is in Pakistan

I go to bb's 3 or 4 times a week and there coffee and muffins are always fresh and fabulous, but they do seam to struggle getting hot food right, I had a sausage roll a while a go and was over cooked and like rubber ( I didn't complain ) today I had a ham and cheese croissant which looked lovely but when it arrived it was as flat as a pancake and obviously cooked in a very hot sandwich press and the lovely soft croissant was like a crisp bread. The staff here are ALWAYS very friendly and replaced it with out quistion. Pleased bb's you use really good Ingredients try and get it right when you cook them. Dose this put me off coming here ? No as a positive thing there coffee and muffins are the best and well worth a visit to try them

to be really honest the coffees good and the cakes are fab, the guy that runs is is rude arrogant, talks to his staff like rubbish...and jesus how about a service with a smile, even the staff look solum, perfect location for a cafe, if he is not the owner, then the owner needs to change him, sorry but he has people skill issue!

Located within The Harvey Centre they do a range of interesting flavours in Muffins. Coffee's are the usual suspects, but whenever I am there, they don't seem to be especially quick at serving you, so allow a bit of extra time. Apart from that, they are always pleasant, it's clean and there are always tables to sit at, which is always a bonus...

I am a convert. I always used to go to Costa but love the coffee here and the muffins are simply to die for. I've never had anything bad here, not sure if I'm visiting a different cafe than some of the other reviews.

Went to this cafe today with the intention on getting some lunch. My mother went up to the counter to order some food as she has special dietary requirements.

We stopped for lunch here. The food was very nice and a good range. The staff were very friendly. Best of all there is a play area adjacent for the kids while you relax.
