BBQ Istanbul in Leicester

Everything in terms of service was done correctly , but unfortunately the food was a let down. The vegetables in the rice is an interesting take on white rice , apart from that everything else seemed bland sorry.

One of the most authentic and best quality food I have tasted in Leicester. Thank you guys for delicious food.

A really good quality service alongside great food, i ordered late at night so was weary as to how fresh my order would be, but to my pleasure everything was phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone looking to fill that kebab hunger :)

Tried this place as was only one open on just eat , really delicious!! Had the special kebab included chicken shish ,1 x lamb 1x chicken kofta (these were huge ) and Donner meat served on really tasty veg rice ,was well seasoned and come in a big square foil tub, with 2 salads and 2 pitta and choice of 4 sauces , really fresh and looked as good as it tasted ! I've collected from the shop and it's immaculate really clean and the staff are really friendly, definitely highly recommended.

Food is fresh! Needed a place like this to open near us and the lamb was on point would definitely eat here again

Just spent £15 on order that was no taste at all kebab look like dog meat only thing I ate was the chips and even going back to the shop they are lying to your face saying the owner is not there when he standing right in front of you then owner will get angry and start smacking his hand on the counter And only positive reviews on this business of people who are Turkish or foreign who know the owner Please stop coming to this country if you cannot make good food and stop ripping off good people

Your not even worth a 1 star rating tbh first time ordering spent £15.90 one doesn’t even look like what I’d ordered your missing items such as my salad and pita bread and now all off a sudden your closed the meatball is really oily and yet states ‘Meatballs in cheese and special tomato sauce I’ve just got one lump of meatball🙄

Best foods I've ever tasted. The staff are really helpful. Especially Turkish borek is a must eat and now they have really good OFFERS.

Food was dry, tasted like it was reheated 3 times. Not much meat at all and the meat that was there tasted bad. The rice was not turkish at all and tasted appauling, it even tasted sweet and came in lumps! The bread was not even turkish it was pitta bread! How shocking. If you want proper turkish do not go here! Will not be going here ever again! Spent almost £30 on a family meal and it was not worth £10!

The rice was like boiled salted rice, not like Turkish rice at all, the feta cheese in the pastry tasted mouldy like blue cheese and there was bearly any chicken

I am the best quality food lover. I tried every Turkish place but, This is best Turkish takeaway place in whole leicester. The charcoal items are amazing. The Turkish meze specially Ezma is so good. Always order takeaway it get delivered on time & always fresh & hot. To my experience you want go wrong BBQ Istanbul is the best.

Fresh and very tasty food.. Great people, always ready to go "extra miles" to keep your smile. We are regular customers and always we received great service... Food is really amazing and prepared on charcoal, not electric grill.... You will enjoy your meal...

Top takeaway food normally on time running a bit late so gave us the food for free carnt moan thanks lads

We always buy our takeaway from here as its always fresh clean and on time. The portions are good size and staff are polite.

Fast delivery and amazing food!

Prices might seem a bit high but you pay for fresh products and they taste great. They grill the items in front of you and it smells delightful.

Excellent fresh food, great friendly service. Definitely worth a visit. First time there today, will be a regular stop for Turkish cuisine from now onwards.

Food delivered was uncooked. Called to complain and the phone hung up on my Daughter. I called to complain and was told by the Owner that" it's my problem if I don't like the food!!" Unbelievably rude customer service from an establishment that I have used many times in the past.

Since moving to Leicester fast food has been rubbish! But this place is the best by far! Fresh everything! As a restaurant owner (x2) I can taste the effort & care in it. Polite, generous & fair.

Spend nearly 15 pounds here absolutely terrible. The food was disgusting kebab tasted like it had been re heated about 3 times, was so dry. The burger was black and burnt and the chips were cold and the salad looked like it had been prepared a week ago. I called them and they would give no refund and said I was liar because the guy makes the food himself. Don’t waste your money here guys

Placed order today First the food was very plain didn't taste nice. Salad had no dressing wasn't nice at all . The lamb was all right but still plain. Chicken shish definitely a no it tasted off and no flavour . 1/10 When I placed the order was realy difficult to explain. Delivery time was half an hour . 20 minutes later they ring to ask what I had orderd so for another 10 minutes i tried explaining and I thought he understood. So delivery time extended. When the food arrived I asked what was there and as he explained it was Completely wrong. I said ok left it. Turns out it wasn't Evan what he had explained . It was double wrong. Driver did apologise but doesn't make up for bad service/staff and the bad food.
