Our go to place when we want pizza. Good food all the time. Just be careful as they are always busy which is a great thing.

What a bad place. I ordered food thinking wow this is a late and great place. Ordered a veggie pizza and they missed it out??? They were so late and they missed my food??? Unacceptable. I cannot believe this bad service. Do not order if it’s late and you are drunk.

Amazing food and pocket friendly... it's open till 3AM so best for the midnight cravings.. love their peri peri fillet burgers with cheese which is my all time fav one.

Always order amigo special peri peri wrap, never had complaints, today i ordered same but it was different. No capsicum, no onion, no amigo special sauce. It’s just chicken and fries inside with tomato like flavour sauce!!

When collected, food was top notch! After that ordered on uber, it was very disappointing. Chips and wrap were cold, dips missing! Peri salt missing on chips! Not the same experience unfortunately. That's why 3* Edit : Same thing again. Uber order disappointing. 3* ----> 1*

Asked for an amigos special pizza, which consists of three meats and could just about see any meat on the pizza more of a veg pizza. Didnt give any sauces either. Won't be ordering again.

Was passing through leicester needed a halal place to eat, this was HMC so ate from here, had a mixed doner with chips and some chilli sauce on it. Price was around £9 i think. The food was spicy but very nice and portion size was good…. would def come back here. The place was nice and clean.

This review long time coming , first time orders I was in love with the rice and chicken strips I had never had anything like it before everything was cooked to perfection. Chicken was served brilliantly and seasoned Wel rice was delicious and food was still hot. Second time I had half a. Chicken, portion was ridiculously small salad was in the same tray after asking for it to be separate and I didn’t want to hot, rice was so small after 4 bites done chicken was very nice and grilled nice . I would say this restaurant is best at grilling chicken , especially since the order was a medium I would expect rice to be equivalent to half a chicken.

I'd say the food is better than some however, the atmosphere needs a lot of work. Not ideal for families...

Dictating objectifying tone toward woman delivery driver. Need to reevaluate how you speak and how you treat women's and delivery staff. We are not slaves. Big disappointment. I dont reccomend. Right in two.

Worse service, they have lost a loyal customer. I have been coming here for years and placing orders online however after today's I will not come here again. I rang up simply to add ketchup on my chips and they were being difficult about a simple matter. Clearly loyalty and kindness means nothing to them.

They dropped the fries on the floor and after put them in the box for a order, delivery drivers specially those with bikes are throwing the bag for deliver on the floor dirty inside ....anyway I really don't recommend no one this place!!! Order pizza and they have not sliced pizza have just sent the whole pizza without slicing it. Please kindly look into the same.

When to this place after hearing so much hype about it. Was very disappointed. Ordered full grill platter with pull beef n rice with extra donner. Was eating in but the service was for a takeaway. Everything in boxes. Donner was dry as hell. Got it changed for chicken donner that was rubbish as well. Seem like all the little bits and left over from the bottom of the pan. Grill chicken was bit hard but good and tasty. Pull beef with rice was bland but the rice was nice. Also got some garlic bread. Reminded my last trip to Iceland to buy these garlic bread. Wasn't that great maybe need to get it from Iceland. Over all below standard food with low standard service. I don't know what the hype is all about.

Even though the order was slightly incorrect, the staff did not hesitate in rectifying it and prepared me a new dish. Food was delicious and I highly recommend this place! They serve all types of food on point!!

Excellent service combined with great tasting freshly prepared food 😋 The shop was clean and tidy with a nice warm feeling. I ordered the Hot n Spicy Smash Beef Burger and it was full of flavour. On site toilet available. Prices were competitive especially for the Smashed Burger range, a large variety of food on the menu which was easy to read although due to the vast amount to chose from you may need a few to decide on what to order 🤔 I would definitely recommend you give this place a try when you're next in the Leicester City Centre Vacinity 😉

Worst customer service ever! Asked me what I wanted 3 times and still got my order wrong. Tried to blame me when I challenged him. Definitely would not recommend!

I bought a donner kebab from here and got food poisoning a couple hours later, I’ve been sick 10 times in the space of a day and had to call the nhs. Do not recommend!

I was passing through Leicester I had time for my train so I tught I will grab some food it was quite busy and I ordered a chicken doner in bread they tried their best to make the food fast as they can they can butt still missed the train but it was worth it the best chiken doner I had in uk it reminded me of the taste back home and everything was really fresh and nice one of the best places I been so far in uk when I pass Leicester agin 100% I will go agin great place highly recommend and the staff a really lovely people thank you

I ordered twice before from uber eats, but this time I decided to visit the place and dine in. In short the place gets busy but the staff are VERY well organised. They clean the tables soon as customer are finished so the new customer can feel comfortable and welcome, its warm inside, no shouting or screaming from the kitchen like there is in alot of other places in leicester grill houses. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. And food is just exquisite. I can not explain enough how nice the food is here. I have been coming to Amigos for years, I still visit even after leaving Leicester. The grilled chicken is the best grilled chicken I have ever tasted, food is so delicious and prices very good. My only criticism is the slow service - even if you pre-order your food to collect at a certain time it’s almost always never ready. Nonetheless, my favourite takeaway!

I was tempted to rate 4 stars..... I was dining in but was given food as if I was taking out. I ordered the full chicken platter which comes with rice, chips, garlic bread, full grilled chicken and 2 drinks but everything came in containers. The chicken was given in a foil container with the lid, rice in a small tupperware, chips in a small bag garlic break in a take away container. No plates and cups, just help yourselves with plastic cutlery in a take away box. A bit weird if you're dining in. Apart from that, the chicken was nice and the sauce was tasty, the rice wasn't great and chips and garlic bread were normal. Decent price for the food, just the service was a bit confusing.

I'm a new customer, and I found the food absolutely delicious and FULL of flavors. The thing which really separates this from the others is the freshness and the way it's cooked. The meat literally melts in your mouth. I only have tried this place twice back to back, and I'm now a loyal customer. They are kind and always give me peri salt on my chips. This place is a hidden gem with really good food. Good place for uni students with cheap prices and an extensive menu featuring pizzas, burgers, chicken and wraps. The amigos special chicken wrap is a must order from me and I definitely recommend it. They recently moved a few doors down on London road to a more spacious and clean shop.

Went to this place for food they made us wait 1 hour,no respect from staff,all they do is keep serving deliveroo and just eat,not interested in customers in the shop. Please be aware they will make you pay and then keep makeing you wait for food and keep serving the delivery drivers.

A big fan of this restaurant. Really....whatever I have tried so far from here was always the bestest. If I can I would give 10 stars haha.. And the price?? The best price you can ever get in Leicester, unlike other restaurants who took more money than it's actual cost. My most fav foods are Peri Peri chicken with rice, Peri Peri chicken burger, fries and wraps. And yes the staff's are very friendly.

I hope the owner of this takeaway checks & responds to this review. Ordered a donner meat & chips on a Friday afternoon. Costs £5:50. Gave him £10. He (Some staff member who wears glasses). didn't have change or perhaps pretended not to have change and gave me £4 saying he will put 50p worth extra donner meat. I didn't want to argue as I was hungry & tired and just wanted to get it done with. The donner meat was swimming in oil and tasted horrible. Dear takeaway owner: Have you trained your staff to pretend not to have change and charge customers extra ? More often than not, such instructions always come from the management. Please avoid such cheap tactics to make money as you will lose customers. Insted use techniques to win customers by offering quality food & good customer service. I will never ever visit this takeaway again and I will suggest the same to all my friends/relatives. Food is not great either, avoid at all costs.
