Bayview Restaurant in Torbay

Our Grandad has been in hospital for quite some time now. His birthday is Wednesday, so today we went down to the restaurant and had a birthday meal with the family. The staff were amazing, especially Ariel and Jenny. Such kind and friendly staff. Such a reasonable price for the food as well. Would recommend popping in there!

We have had two family birthday meals during January and the service has been so lovely. A big shout out to Jenny and Ariel ( Philippines) they have both gone above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy. The food was great, the view and atmosphere was lovely too. It was nice for my dad to be able to be part of family celebrations whilst in hospital 🥳♥️

My wife and I visited in the morning for a breakfast. The food was delightful and staff were very friendly.

After treatment decided a breakfast would be nice and good 8 piece breakfast and staff very helpful and friendly

Was a good pizza I had, ended up burning my mouth as it was bare hot but apart from that was alright

Bay View Restaurant is Part of Torbay hospital ideal if you are visiting someone lovely food .

Food was OK, area was clean, staff were friendly ,one of the pictures had fallen off the wall 15/12/22 food quality is slipping

The menus options are excellent value. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall dining experience is super, whatever the occasion. I highly recommend Bayview restaurant.

Wonderful food, freshly prepared. Great, friendly service too. Staff couldn’t have been more obliging. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and generous portions. In particular Stuart, Rosie and Panay provided exemplary service. Thank you - I shall be back soon.

Some staff are very blunt and rude. Not customer focused, in the wrong position. Most in portant the food is excellent.

My husband is disabled & has had many operations here at Torbay Hospital. As a consequence I have spent many, many hours here eating lunch / dinner or both. Recently, they only serve food up until 14.30 Mon-Fri ( not sure about the weekends.) Outside of these hours, you have to go to the Costa cafe for light snacks. When the Bay View is fully open, they offer a great choice of freshly cooked meals; hot & cold puddings & a salad / sandwich bar. All great quality & value.

For a hospital restaurant the food is excellent and consistent in quality, discount for staff.

Considering its within a hospital I'm still surprised at the amount of unhealthy food options available. Less BEIGE battered,deep fried.

Had takeaway sandwiches and drinks, well priced with nice soft bread, far better than the ones from the hospitals WHSmiths.
