Beautiful breakfast. I especially enjoyed my veggie brekkie. I'm not a fan of veggie sausages or bacon so this breakfast was perfect. It was hot ( I can't bear cold plates) and lots of tea.

If you like thick bread for your sandwiches, with hard thick crusts, you will love it. See my photo - I pulled off all the thick hard crusts and was left with not much else. Not a lot of filling in my cheese and onion toasty. Other than that, love this place - great location and happy atmosphere, served by good staff, but no more sandwiches there for me.

We went in for Breakfast this Sunday, the food was nothing short of excellent! Well cooked, well thought out, different and superior ingredients made for the best brekky we’d had for a very long time. The coffee was lush. In fact it was so nice we went back for lunch too! If you find yourself in Beer on a Sunday morning looking for a thoroughly decent breakfast at a good price then this is the place to be.

I couldn't quite tell on-line but this is fully operational cafe / tea room that provides a good range of lunch options. Hubby enjoyed his ham, egg and chips whilst I had humous on soda bread with avocado and (too much for my taste) tomato confit. Very nice place to eat in this must-see coastal village. Only quibbles would be the lack of toilets (public loos are just round the corner) and no wifi (mobile data was also non-existant inside) but neither are deal-breakers.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very good quality bacon and egg sandwiches were a generous size with thick bacon. Excellent tea - yes, we're English so we care! (boiling water, a bag each and one for the pot, extra water and plenty of real fresh milk). Clean throughout. Bright modern interior. Minor negatives: Hard furnishings are hygienic but naturally reflect noise. No toilet but (naff) public ones nearby. Will definitely go again.

We saw that they served breakfast, and as we were having some issues with the grill at our self catering cottage we thought we would try the Bay View Tea Room, but was disappointed to find that they do not open until 10am, so on our first visit we had to pass as we had plans for the day and could not wait for an hour. On our final day we visited at 10am and ordered breakfasts, They were very good, though I thought the half portion breakfast with only a £1 reduction in price was poor value for money so opted for the full breakfast, even though I left some. I was very pleased until we asked for the toilets and was told we would have to use the public conveniences down the road. I am amazed that they are allowed to do this under UK law, and I was not very happy to leave the premises to use Victorian era toilets with accompanying unpleasantness. For this reason the rating is not as high as it could have been.

I have responded to the experience questions despite a non visit. My message is based on the fact I was ultimately unable to enjoy the products from my online order, as I appear to be excluded from delivery listings due to the fact I live on a Scottish Island. Whilst understanding of the potential costs involved, perhaps the company could at least offer the option to the customer to cover such...something I would be only happy to oblige with....regardless of the amount David Wilkie Isle of Cumbrae Scotland 07488941692

We had to try the new Sunday lunch menu and we were not disappointed. Roast beef served with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cheesy leeks and a proper Yorkshire - not one of those rock hard crispy things restaurants often serve. Followed up with the best freshly cooked Blueberry Bakewell and cream. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks very much

Not open on Monday, disappointing as had been looking forward to lunch here, they really need to update opening hours 😫
