Bay Kebabs in Canterbury

Food Wasn't amazing - chips been re cooked goodness knows how many times - not a nice taste, some inedible. And few loose strands of cabbage and lettuce on the halloumi pitta which was disappointing.

Has now been multiple orders that have been cancelled, over an hour late, wrong items. Have re-used to try and give the benefit of the doubt but they lie on the phone and tell you it’s on its way then still doesn’t come. Have been spoken to rudely when orders have been wrong. Have tried ordering with a couple of hours notice so not last minute and current order for instance is over an hour late still and they said 40 mins ago it was already with the driver on its way to us. Still not here. Terrible service. Would not recommend nor use again.

My delivery was changed from latest 6.40 to 7pm yet arrived at 7.15pm driver had obviously ticked me off as being delivered as app told me to enjoy my food as if delivered before7pm and its arrival, no apology given, food needed reheating.

delivery was over half an hour late. food was cold and dry.

Communication is a strong key word and last night no communication was made and was very rude when mentioned there mistake .

Meat was burnt... not very enjoyable. Donnor meat kebab was fine. But wouldnt order the shish again.

Absolutely delicious food - my halloumi wrap was really very good - bread was light & tasty and my husband was stuffed after his medium donor meat with chips - can’t believe he was nearly tempted to order the large 😳 Recommend - will order again for definite ☺️

Normally great food. But it wasnt the meat we normally get and ut was a bit burnt.

Food was amazing, however we didn’t receive our tango. Our delivery driver was lovely and despite it being half 11 at night he went to a nearby shop and bought us some which was so thoughtful, we really thank you, you’re amazing x

My go to kebab. Staff are always friendly, foods always good. What more could you ask for?!

As per usual the food was great, got what I asked for well cooked perfect chicken with extra grilled chillies.

1 star is too many, if I could give a minus I would!! Bay kebabs put my daughter in hospital with campylobacter food poisoning, the second we saw the chicken i contacted them, was asked to send pictures to the number they gave so they coukd show the boss, the boss then just turned up, I showed him the first bit which he denied was raw, the second bit he agreed was raw, gave a £10 refund and a new kebab which obv wasn't eaten. Within days my daughter was admitted to hospital, her temperature was 39.9 and high risk of seizure so couldnt be admitted to the ward until her temp came down, she couldn't move through the pain, needed help to get to the toilet, vomiting, admitted to the ward at midnight, surgical team were preparing her for surgery thinking it was appendicitis, only when you coukd visibly see blood in her stools and urine was it tested, then the result of campylobacter came in. Thank God they didn't operate!!! She missed her birthday as spent it in hospital on nil by mouth. Environmental health went in, ive gone public with this and the amount of people that have come forward with the same story is unreal, another lady was admitted to hospital in August with campylobacter and that's when Bay Kebabs scores on the door went to 3. Bay kebabs were communicating amicably with us and wanted to make a gesture to my daughter, but then we were ghosted, spoke to the owner on the phone and he is the most vile human being I have ever come across!!! PLEASE if you value yours and your children's health, avoid like the plague!!! If you search them on certain hernebay groups on Facebook, you will see how many people have suffered at their hands. What was a treat ended in a nightmare for us. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF COMMUNICATIONS WHERE THEY ADMIT IT!!! but on the phone the owner just throws abuse and threats including calling the police 🙄🤬

Delicious chicken shish, good amount of salad and the King Burger was lovely.

Excellent as usual. Perfectly cooked and packed. Fresh salad, peppers, onions, red cabbage and chilli sauce.. perfect Sunday dinner.

The food was lukewarm and tasted like it had been waiting around a while. We have been very happy with the quality previously but will try other takeaways now.

Ordered a lamb shish and chips Via just eat. After 40minutes got a phone call saying they had no lamb left. I said I’d have a lamb cofty but didn’t enjoy it, it arrived late and was not very hot.

We order from just eat to have our food delivered not to be picked up from the restaurant if I wanted to do that I would go and get it myself so thank you just eat for my cold food which I waited nearly an hour to get after I had to ring the restaurant and ask where my food was very disappointed

Meat was so salty too much for us. Could you taste before you send out such a salty meal.

never turned up. got a code to give when the kebab comes to the door. said it was delivered and told me he delievered my kebab to a man at the door. someone has got my order! and they wouldn’t have been able to give the code as they wouldn’t have it so how have they gave someone

Bit of a wait which was understandable because it was quite busy for a Thursday night. However they seemed understaffed as there was one person doing all the deliveries, and only two people making all the orders (in store and delivery). one of the workers had to keep leaving customers midway through and making orders bit by bit as he kept having to go to the phone ringing etc. Food was alright but wouldn’t order again.

A most disappointing Meal. All the meat was like processed. there was no texture to any of the meat. Bland tasting. No flavor. Sorry I will not be ordering from you again (After some 7+Years, Before JUST EAT I picked up from shop myself).

Chicken burnt to a crisp, also very chewy. Chips were ok not seasoned or anything so like chewing on cardboard. Cheesy chips were lovely and the wedges were amazing. Driver nearly forgot to hand us a drink we paid for but we managed to reach her in time and got it

I ordered two Mixed Meat and Chips and we received two Doner Meat and Chips. Both of these were ordered with sauce and they both came plain with no sauce on. I also ordered a Diet Coke and received a regular coke. The only thing that was right in this order was the Dr. Pepper. Very disappointed.

Ordered a falafel wrap and potato wedges but got call to say they ran out of wedges so changed to chips. The chips were actually fries so not very nice and the wrap was holloumi so half went in bin, basically just ate salad wrap.

Food never arrived called twice first an hour after ordered told was on its way then after hour and half nothing arrived

Food was brilliant - really lovely food. It's just a shame the drinks were forgotten and when I rang, they promised to return with them but never did. I had to go through JustEat for a refund of the drinks. It's a real shame as other than that, the food was exceptional

Will never be ordering from these again. Order food at 3:45 to come for 17:00 and it wasn’t a cheap order. after 2 phone calls it finally turned up at 17:35 no offer of an apology

The meat and salad is absolutely delicious, meat is cooked to perfection Suggestion could we have a mixed meat option? (lamb chop, Lamb Shish, chicken wings) option just meat in a box. only slight moan we ordered bulger and got white plain rice (no chick peas) I can't eat rice so it was wasted. otherwise our favourite

We ordered from here before and it great so we decided to order again, it was late which I think that’s why it was all cold, the chips where hard the chicken was cold and overdone and dry so very disappointed, such a shame as the first time was so good

we lived 5 minutes around the corner took an hour to get the order and deliver and i called the restaurant 10 mins after order they said it was ready tgen still came 50 mins later

I’ve ordered from here so many times and the chicken shish is always excellent- chargrilled andTonight I got hard orange deep fried scraps of chicken watery from the salad and wedge of soaking wet bread. I binned it all.
