We called in here this evening, what a great friendly pub . Nice to be served by happy smiling young ladies . And good prices on the drinks . We'll be back .

We were only at the Bay Horse very briefly (for just one drink) but, despite the pub being very busy on a sunny August Saturday evening, we were served very quickly by very friendly staff. Great range of draught beers available.

Fab time at a regular Wednesday night acoustic music jamming session 🎶🎸🎻🪇 Lovely bar staff served up gorgeous pints of Barker Bridge Brewery's porter. Great crowd, great beer, great (free!) entertainment. Thanks all! 👍🏻

What a lovely and warm, welcoming and gorgeous gem of a pub. Kath Mark and all the other staff were exactly what you want in a public houses staff; Friendly, chatty and able to pull a pint. The beer garden is ample in space. The interior is clean and homely, a proper nice pub in a lovely part of the world. I have visited the pub 3 weeks on the trot for the last 3 Wednesdays to attend the acoustic music evening (From 7.45pm onwards)- If you want to hear great music or participate in a real, good old fashioned open session with some fantastic players this is the place for you. You don't have to be the best singer, guitarist, fiddle player or percussionist to join in, just be respectful when others are playing and join in if you like, just how it should be. I would definitely class the Bay Horse music night as one of the best I've been to, period. Great environment, great people, a local affair that welcomes visitors. They don't serve food, neither do they need to- It is perfect as it is.

Staying in the village for the weekend. Popped in for a swift pint Friday around 6pm. The place was buzzing in a good way. You just got the feeling that this was the heart of the community with loads of people there for after work drinks. It was pleasantly full but still space. Swift service, good selection of beers and reasonable prices. An absolute gem.

Came here for a meeting I don't live in oxenhope but grandchildren attend school here and I do odd bits of work here.was nice to see a pub busy for a change 😊. There wasn't many empty seats in the main area which is unusual these days, so thats great and a good sign. Only thing I wouldn't usually call in here is a like a cuppa a coffee or tea. Have passed when walking and asked but they don't do them. Fair enough but I'm sure some would like to nip in for a warm drink. I definitely would

The landlady is so welcoming and kind. Plenty of tables outside. Family friendly has well has welcoming walkers with dogs has well has locals. All round nice place with enjoyable evening entertainment.

A proper pub. Run brilliantly by Mark and Cath and their daughter Emma with a great selection of beers and friendly locals. There’s often entertainment on during the week and it gets busy. Highly recommended.

I cannot rate this pub highly enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming. But the locals really do make you feel welcome. Amazing company. Visited over a few days so got to witness and partake in quiz night, music night and folk music night. Such a nice atmosphere.

This pub was opposite where we were staying. It doesn't do food but was a fabulous community pub where we were made very welcome. We will definitely be back 😀

Real local pub, caters for most tastes,real ale, posh pricey lager etc. Music night and occasionally special events. Long may it remain a focal point of the community.

Visited a few times on our stay. A warm welcome on arrival. A proper Yorkshire pub. No food, just great beers, wines and spirits. Dogs are made welcome. Lovely outside space. Just a fabulous place to sit and chew the fat with the natives

Nice pub in the village of Oxenhope.

I’ve just moved to Oxenhope & have been twice recently. Both times it’s been nice enough to sit outside. The staff are friendly, engaging and efficient. The locals & regulars all seem pleasant & friendly. Most importantly, the beer is absolutely f*ck1ng excellent!

First pub visit post lockdown, by chance we ended up here on a bike ride, I was very impressed with the social distancing standards, and they managed to maintain a really welcoming feel too well done bay horse and thanks for the coffee 👍

First time I’ve visited this pub. Very accommodating staff for two extremely soggy cyclists today! Very good Covid social distancing measures in place felt very safe. Would definitely visit again!

A right cracker from Bowland Brewery on (Bowland Gold 3.8%) Lovely surroundings, cosy and clean. Friendly bar team and Landlord thanks for a great evening. It's not a restaurant, it's a good PUB!!

Just a short few words to express my warmest thanks to Mark and Cath for making our Christmas stay in Oxenhope so enjoyable. We found a beautiful cottage online to stay whilst visiting friends and family. What a warm and friendly welcome from the whole pub. And after reading a recent comment I can only imagine that the person concerned must have made a mistake or been reviewing a different establishment. Many many thanks again.

Been to the Bay Horse a few time's now and we're so impressed with the beer and the staff! The landlord and landlady are so welcoming and friendly accompanied by the atmosphere off the locals makes it such a great place to drink, relax and enjoy yourself! We highly recommend this place.

Lovely cosy pub. A few locals and great friendly bar staff - the backbone of this pub I would say. However much can be said regarding the landlord and landlady running this pub. Manners don’t cost, but unfortunately this was lacking in all areas, and not to mention aggressive behaviour towards customers which was uncalled for!! Not the kind of professionalism you’d expect to endure when trying to spend quality time with loved ones.This is such a shame, as this pub is lovely and could be so much more. I hope you hang your head in shame knowing what impact this had, on what was a happy special day! Absolutely disgusted!!

As regular visitors to Haworth, we have tried the Bay Horse for a few years. It was clear from first entering the pub, with its warm atmosphere, that this was a great place to relax and have a few drinks. The Landlord and Landlady made themselves known and made us feel extremely welcome. They had great professional and social skills and made every effort to ensure we settled into the pub. It was clear that this attitude also affected all of their regular customers positively as everyone was warm and welcoming. This pub reflects good old fashioned customer service delivered in excellent surroundings with open fires in this dog friendly establishment. We visited a few times over the weekend and this place will certainly be a must for all future visits. Full credit to the Landlord and Landlady who certainly know how to run a pub. We will recommend this to many of our friends who also visit Haworth.

Locals very helpful with good advice on local eateries.Have seen reviews so were well aware they didn’t do food so were prepared despite other reviews. Good ales. Quavers available for the dog. Very dog friendly. Lovely pub cat too.

Visited on Straw Race day. It was packed. Had a great atmosphere and didn't wait too long to get served at the bars. 😎

Great find local pub run by a couple who know what they are doing.Spotlessly clean refurbished recently The Couple in charge are putting their own personality into the Bay Horse Beer is spot on very well kept!No food at this moment in time this may change Well worth calling in for a drink warm welcome from staff and customers.If you are lucky you may catch a cricket match from the rear patio.

On arrival we as a group had a little wait prior to opening time nonetheless when the doors opened we was greeted with hospitality second to none.Mine hosts were excellent nothing was too much bother.Plenty of fine ales on offer could have stayed a lot longer than we actually did,but as it was a try as many Public Houses as you possibly can trip.Would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone.Would have on qualms whatsoever on revisiting.

We were staying in Oxenhope and were told that The Bay Horse did good food so decided to try it one evening, we were very disappointed when we went in and asked the landlord if we could have a meal to be told they don't do food! He did tell us of another place to go,which was good of him but we were not pleased about this as it was the nearest to us.

Although this pub serves good ales , it always feel cold inside .We have been a few times whilst passing , and found the staff friendly but it hasn't got a lot of atmosphere .Nice to sit outside with your dog whilst having a drink on a sunny day .
