Everything we ordered wasn't available. No pie or fish. Ended up ordering breakfast and chicken mxi as a main meal which was awful Dessert was the worst as wwhicnas.told they were out.of sto k again. Ended up.ordering.2 biscoff cheesecake which were stale Never ever again.

Excellent time was spent at the Bay Horse, well worth every penny 😁😁

Called in for lunch. The steak n ale pie and lasagne were delicious. Its great value for money . 2 meals for £13.99. The male member of staff who served us was very professional, helpful, and polite. We look forward to returning.

Fantastic, the disabled accommodation in room 1 was perfect, room for a wheelchair right around the room and bathroom. Bathroom and toilet full of grab rails. Only issue was the height of the bath, could have been even better if it had been a wet room. Thanks guys.

Had a family meal here at the weekend. I can recommend the mixed grill and the chicken sharing platter as well.

Terrible noisy in the bar / restaurant area. Mob rule and management seem totally inept to do anything, certainly won't be staying again. Avoid at all costs of I were you.

The food was shocking, whilst i appreciate it was 7pm on a sunday and apparently they had no vegetables left for a sunday lunch, what we ordered as a replacement, steak flatbread cello de picant, when it came it was 3 lettuce leaves and 6 cubes of over done very dry steak.

Perfectly cooked food on my mixed grill. Customer service was spot on, very friendly staff and they engaged with the kids which really made us all feel comfortable. Will defo be going back 👌

Great Pub to go to for quiz night. Only time we ever go so take that into consideration. The price of a vodka coke is steep considering how little vodka coke you get versus just ordering a coke which comes in a glass twice as large for half the price. Besides that the atmosphere on quiz night is great. Host has loads of energy and seems like a chill guy. The women manning the bar tend to be quite friendly and nice too. Oh and Parkings great if thats up your alley

Came with my husband we had the bbq meat platter, it's perfect for sharing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, it's a lovely place to eat with family and friends, we will be returning.

Young Girl behind Bar she was aggressive and Rude, don't know her name but she was the smallest with Tatoos on left arm, very rude young woman, then she got the order wrong ? ?

Clean and staff was very friendly. Three of us ate there and the problem was the food. Very bland flavors. The chicken skewer was not edible (too tough to chew). Ribs were not very bad and baked chicken had zero spices. Again the staff was awesome. Good place to go if you have a drink but the food was not restaurant quality.

I keep giving this place a chance and they keep serving diabolical food!

It was our first time visiting and my food was burnt ,the girl brought me a new meal but I couldn't eat it as the chicken was still slightly frozen, really disappointed as I just moved to the area

I've been today with my 2 daughters for lunch ( Friday April 26th) The food was amazing. I had lamb kofta and flatbread. I would recommend this place and food to anyone. Can't wait to go back .

Stayed one night. Very clean rooms, a comfy bed, and lovely staff .what more could you ask for?

This battle cruiser does what it is designed to do, not gastro, the chef doesn't bind the lean mince with egg to make your burger here, however, for a really decent power up on a weather the spoons or bring in the harvest, this Pub will weather the Storm any time of year. Great value for money

waited over 25mns for food at tea time ( around 6pm ) no scampi. no steak pie. had to settle with food we didnt really want.not much taste to the lasagne.looked very nice but wouldnt have it again.my husband said his gamon was great. ( his 2nd choice ) woudnt be too bothered but id drove 8 hours and passed numerous places to eat.

Table of 13 with young children, had to wait one hour for food, I would’ve thought the staff would be more attentive, mix grills not great it was like things had just been left, chicken dry, sausage tasteless, Sunday dinners, gravy solid, chicken dry, potatoes not sure what had gone wrong with the mash, used to go to this pub years ago but it is quite run down now, outside needs sweeping and cleaning

Lovely pub, rooms clean and comfy bed, Only negative waited 50 mins last night for food which on rugby day I expected, but 1hr mins for breakfast this morning was not acceptable, just not enough staff, the two on this morning were run off their feet, shame as it's a lovely pub

Havent been for food in a while, so we thought we'd try again, i had slow cooked beef, chewy and gristle, oh food was good, was a little rowdy after the races but soon as the rowdy crowd went the atmosphere was nice.

Lovely pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Brought my sister here for tea and we had such a lovely time. Chicken mix was really good value for money and the waitresses Analise and Holly provided excellent service. Would highly recommend coming The Bay Horse.

Lovely pub, with a great atmosphere. Suitable for meeting with family, friends, couples and you can even take your dogs in the dog friendly area. The food is always tasty and great portion sizes. Reasonably priced too. Drinks are always good quality. Staff are really nice and friendly. We go often as a family or a couple with our dog and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

A lovely meal in a very friendly and clean pub. My family and I visited the Bayhorse last Saturday. The pub was very busy and there was a nice atmosphere, we were quickly shown to our table and served drinks very quickly. The menu is varied and a huge choice. Everyone's food was served in a timely fashion and all meals were served at the same time, so no awkward waiting. The food was hot and very well present. Everyone was very happy with their food and all in all it was a lovely evening with great food, great service and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Awful pub, felt very downtrodden, clientele was rough. Fish tasted like mold & literally got 1 tablespoon of mushy peas on the side. Safe to say we won't be going again.

The girls from work and i went in tonight for a few drinks and a bite to eat. We booked a table yesterday. When we arrived it was busy but was shown straight to our table. After looking at the menu we went to the bar and ordered. Really pleasant staff. We were served by Rachel. Food came in good time and was lovely. Anthony came over and made sure we were happy with the food and if we needed anything else. Good atmosphere and nice food, we will definitely be returning.

Loved our recent visit to the bay horse. The staff are super friendly and are what makes this pub great! The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back.

A firm family favourite for a quick easy tea, staff are the friendliest around and food is always spot on. Roast dinners are now back on the menu on Sundays and taste great.

Went with my family on friday evening, despite them having some issues with water which was quickly resolved and the pub being rwallu busy we had a great experiance. Staff were professional and helpful despite under obvious pressures. My new local for sure.

Went for a meal on Sunday afternoon. Had a lovely Sunday roast and atmosphere was brilliant. Would definitely recommend if you want a lovely roast at a reasonable price.

Haven't been here in a while but won't be going back, we arrived at 7.30 tried to order food and was told we had an hour waiting time. The ladies toilets were out of service so the sign on the door said to use the disabled toilet which was absolutely disgusting. When we asked the manageress she said it was because they had no water apparently neither did the house next door. Surely if there was No water then that was a hygiene issue and no service should have resumed !!!

Booked a table for 5 people at 1pm on a Sunday. Arrived, and there was one person serving at the bar. Eventually got a reaction from her and was told there would be a 45 minute wait for food. A little disappointing, but we decided to wait. Ordered the food, and was told that even though it was still lunch time, the traditional beef Sunday Roast was sold out! .......I ask you, what pub runs out of Sunday Lunch ingredients that early on a Sunday afternoon? Anyway, made a second choice. An hour later, still no food. So asked what was happening. 'It's just being plated up' was the response. Half hour later, still no food. Finally got overcooked, dry veg and greasy meat at 2.35pm!!!!! Our offered compensation....a round of drinks! Pathetic! So basically, crap food in small portions, horrendous service. Certainly do not recommend this pub for your family meal. We will definitely be avoiding this and other Greene Kings in the future. Wetherspoons would be preferable!!

Went for Sunday lunch with my family, I had the beef rib which was stunning my wife had the half roast chicken. All the staff are really friendly and the service was great. Will defiantly be returning, best Sunday lunches around bar none!

Staff were pleasant quick service, food was nice and hot but soon got cold. It was freezing in there. I couldn't get warm. And silly me didn't have a coat as we had gone in the car. I'd have sat eating with my coat on if I had. Can't get warm now even after a couple of hours coming out. Never again! The walk from carpark to pub door is a distance when you can't walk far.

Came for some lunch with my family, food was okay steak overcooked, no one came and checked on us. The pub and staff where to start, tables dirty, windowsills full of dead insects, toilets vile. Staff were rude and giving dirty looks left right and centre. Customer service was none existent, been in many greeneking pubs and this has got to be the worst, you can excuse alot things when staff are friendly but unfortunately not the case today.

Ordered via the app. Drinks took an age to arrive, it was three soft drinks so I don’t really understand the delay. Food arrived not long after. Waitress dropped one of the garlic bread pieces, didn’t bother to replace it. Burger supposed to come with chips and onion rings. It came with chips and two onion rings that had the colour as though they had just been threatened by the oven. Total lack of vegan condiments. You get what you pay for though.

My partner and I went to The Bay at the weekend for lunch. The pub was quite busy but able to be seated straight away. We were served at the bar quickly by Anthony. Food arrived in good time and was amazing (sausage flat bread for me and steak for my partner). After the food was finished plates were cleared away and Anthony the manager came and made time to speak to us and other customers to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely be back again soon. Really good to watch football or any sports as there are Televisions around the pub in good locations. Staff always happy and very helpful

Steak was worst ever seen or tasted , ordered medium and came burnt to a cinder , totally inedible burnt tasting. Reveiw for a meal in the pub ; Came for my Dogs Birthday she was treated like the Queen she is. Ut is a hot day and they brought her a water bowl without being asked. She enjoyed sauages (which I did pay for) came in her own very clean bowl.

We were served the wrong food, I ordered two extra large mixed grill but was served with one standard size and one extra large, they took away the smaller one then brought it back and had to wait for the other portions to arrive, very poor service and I don't believe that they understand how to cook a steak as mine was over done, very disappointed with the whole experience as I've never had to complain before at this place, I'm really hoping that next time we go the standard's have improved
