Baxters in South Holland

We were impressed by the quality of the chips and burgers we had, plus the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side is possibly that the menu of food available is a bit limited especially for vegetarians, but none the less would recommend a visit if only to sample the chips.

Take away only but once you are inside the door, you are unlikely to leave. Looks very clean and well organised. They have cod and chips ready for almost instant consumption. If you want Haddock or other listed items, then it’s a short wait. The young lady server was friendly and efficient and wrapped ours up well.We will call again. Thanks.

numerous visits for the last umpteen years (my great nan lived just down the road) Nothing fancy just PLAIN GOOD FISH MEALS to take-away (must admit you can tell the difference between fryers ?) but on the whole I LUV IT !!

We regularly visited Baxters and always enjoyed the fish and chips. Sadly, on the last few occasions the quality seems to have dropped and the chips have been on the soggy side, and the fish a bit dried out or even over cooked. A real shame as Baxters were the best, but we have recently been but off going based on the decline in the quality.

If you are a lover of Great quality fish and chips, Baxters is the answer. They also sell pies, sausage etc... oh, and real Rock salmon (not a cheeper imitation fish). Service with a smile and the best fish & chips around.
