Served by a lovely gent called Orlando, drinks came out within 2 minutes of order very impressed!

The ale selection is not good. Sometimes, the ale is off, yet it’s still being sold. Other times, the ale selection is too high in alcohol by volume (ABV) or it’s not balanced.

I'm sorry please check your cameras from 12 onwards your security staff were on phones and neither looking at the ba r if anything happened they wouldn't know disappointed one one way one the other hope you can resolve this before an accident happens

Terrell was so friendly, greeted us with friendliness and gave us all the service we needed

This is a "middle of the road" and typical Wetherspoons. Good range of beers on tap, very reasonably priced. Quite a large space for sitting including a separate bar upstairs and more seating. Atmosphere is what you expect - a good place to meet for a beer or coffee.

Takes forever for to get an order and then it's wrong

So we were here in a group and ordered drinks and food. A friend of ours got asked for ID and didn’t have a physical card, so she agreed to leave. Up until then, they were rude about every question we asked and everything we ordered. Then the pincher didn’t come with any glasses, so I asked for a glass and tap water. The guy responded with “Go get it yourself, mate.” I went and didn’t find it, so I asked him again, which visibly annoyed him. Then, an employee came to tell us that we had to leave the Wetherspoons. They couldn’t explain to us why and were really rude about it. The literally weirdest and least transparent experience I’ve had in my wonderfully short life.

Prices are great for London, drinks are super cheap. Quality of food is ok, nothing special.

I can't fault the pub. Every aspect was excellent from the food to friendly helpful staff.

Great fish and chips and I finally managed to drink a pint of Scrooge's Revenge.

Bit long had to wait before got served, staffs had nowt to do. But still had to wait. Tables needed to be cleared. Lots of people's sitting down watching 📺 or chatting away 🤔 or just sitting down eating or waiting to eat.

We did have good, but looking at what others had looked okay. Great service staff were friendly and attentive Drinks were reasonably priced. Good place for drinks and a chat. Will definitely go again when back in London.

Waited for 15 mins to be saved. When I eventually got served, I asked why other customers who came.behind me had been served first and the bar attendant who had filled w out 3 drinks decided not to seeve me. When I asked to speak to the manager, he also refused to serve me without even listening to me. Went in 3 days later with colleagues and was.refised service. Appalling to be honest

okay food (beans not great) okay prices staff seem over worked but still provide good service... Edit** September 2024– Most of the staff seem like they’re unhappy to be here, the portions of food have shrunk a lot, hygiene is rock bottom had to clean our table myself before sitting which also had a KFC bag under it & when my eldest food came on the big appetite plate it was dusty af sent it back new food came out on same plate that clearly just got wiped over with a cloth as it still had some dust on it but my eldest was so hungry I told her eat where the dust isn’t With it now being like this no surprise the place seems dead most of the time don’t think I’ll be coming back to this branch again until it fixes up

The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. But I really feel for them as the place itself is depressing, souless and gloomy, full of alcoholic old lushes from opening, some of who like the sound of their own voice. There's more atmosphere on the moon. it's not a place to spend more than an hour in. Still, good for usual wetherspoons grub at superb prices.

40 min wait and Breakfast never arrived. Was not even busy and 3 bar staff had nothing to do. Had to leave as had train to catch

We ordered for a family dinner and my nan ordered a bowl of chips and my brother ordered a rice bowl and all the other meals came out first with chips on them but my nan had to wait 50 minutes for a bowl of chips and when we asked the server what’s happening she just brushed off the complaint and said it’s coming and when we asked the second member of staff how long it would be and she refused to apologise and was very argumentative and belittling and when we asked to see the manager he took 30 minutes to appear and the only thing he offered to rectify the situation was another bowl of chips

I enjoyed my stay in this historic spoons. Great location near a train station, cinema, museum and a Burberry Outlet store. I had a very good ale with no fuss to try before I bought. There's two floors with a first floor terrace. Would definitely go back.

Newer than other Wetherspoon that I have visited. Nice decor and quite clean as well. Food arrived soon after order and services are good.

Went there for my dinner on Sunday 18 August 24. Very few people in the place. All the tables were dirty and had not been cleaned off. There was delph and glasses, on almost every table, and the customers, that had occupied those tables had gone. Eventually I found one clean table. The service was slow. The food was good, but not hot enough. I was very disappointed with the place, Run down in my opinion, to a very low level. I have been there before on a good few occasions, and it was much much better. I would sooner go to a nearby cafe in future.

What are the cheapest Witherspoon in London

True family pub where everyone seems to know each other. I have been here a few times, gets really busy in the evenings. Food is the usual quality, I love wetherspoons food.

Astoundingly good service by an old fellow with a bow tie who served steak and did a check back to see if the food was good a few minutes later. In weatherspoons! And at closing time sang the punters out. Unbelievable. Magic. Deserves an award!!!

I recently visited Wetherspoon for the first time with a friend who recommended it, and it didn't disappoint. The temperature inside was just right, creating a comfortable atmosphere. It's a great spot for meeting up, with everything from the service to the setting being perfect. I'll definitely be back!

This place is mediocre, nothing special at all. Drinks are cheap, and it opens later than the other regular boozers. That's it folks. Ps. The toilets are awful. Obviously the powers that be don't read these reviews. Staff, just mediocre. Can't remember who's next to be served. P**s poor.

Ate breakfast there and the atmosphere was lovely and calm. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked.

I doubt I will return to Wetherspoons Baxter’s Court again. Got my take away order wrong thee times and then the bar tender, lady with the glasses refused to offer me any compensation and had a full blown argument with me as a customer. I then asked to speak to the Manager. She stated she was the Manager, which was a lie. She was rude and unprofessional and huffed and puffed when she was asked to rectify my order, the service was absolutely disgraceful. Had her colleague, tall guy defending her. Going to report her to head office. She has no customer service skills and clearly does not like her job. When I got home and started eating my food, I found a synthetic hair in my mashed potato. Really really disgraceful.

Ordered food, waiting around 45 mins for my food. No show. Went to the bar to ask. apparently they had a problem with their screens which process the orders. No members of staff came over to my table to tell me. So poor.

This pub was my favourite spoon but lately it has been a bit disorganised. Sticky tables, tables not cleared and a couple of rude experiences at the bar. Been going to the Rochester instead. Plus the selfish , normally regular, customers that hog the booths on their own. A couple of the booths fit 6 to 8 people easily and yet it is occupied by one person drinking a cup of tea. Just like hotels booths should charge a single occupancy rate as this is just selfish. Families and groups have to perch round tables causing movement issues for punters navigating aisles and carrying drinks. A surcharge of £10 per every half hour would be nice if just one person occupies a booth.

Another great JDW visited for the first time ... You can't go wrong when you visit a 'Spoons' !!

There will be no bad images to tire your eyes and no traffic noise to hurt your ears. You can be sure.

6 stars of we're really being honest. Empty plates for the kids, off to see some music being played by pur friend Maxwell.

It was really pleasant and nice atmosphere.

Great pub good selection of guest ales and a lovely terrace.

As I was coming downstairs towards the exit there was a terrible smell. It turns out that raw sewage was flowing out of the front door onto the pavement. There were no visible signs to say caution or no cardboard or anything to warn people of this. There was no option but to step in the sewage in which to exit the building. Considering it was pouring down with rain that didn't help matters either. Due to the rain falling I wasn't able to take any photos. As an option the staff could have closed the front doors and given the option for customers to enter and exit through the other double doors.

Great beer and spirits at a very reasonable price also great menu for food ,,,my fav the chicken wings and burgers.... fantastic atmosphere as well and very friendly helpful staff... 🥂

Food was fine... the only thing is there's drunks and crackheads sitting and gathering as you enter.. I thought I was in an episode of Top Boy at one stage..

Had the Ramen bowl. It was tasty and well made. But the service was terrible. The other food we ordered never turned up and when we asked they checked with the kitchen who said they had no ingredients to make the other item ordered but never bothered to tell us.

Entering the establishment is an interior smoking area before more doors go to the main bar. This might be an issue for people who dislike cigarette smoke. Whist visiting this pub, my coat was stolen so do watch your personal possessions. There are two levels but the upstairs bar was closed. I did not enjoy my experience at this particular Wetherspoons and will not be returning.

This is a typical Wetherspoons pub, the layout of the pub and service is not much different to any other one. Nothing special about this one but still good for a drink and meal.

Seemed a good one from what I saw, only popped in for a quick pint. Guest ales on at a great price and would definitely pop in again if I was in the area.

My local, best prices for food and drink, has decent atmosphere in there, my only issue is that they let the wafes and strays come in, and it's uncomfortable when they come up to you while eating asking for money other than that love it there

There was no bar staff upstairs. So we ended up staying downstairs instead. Other than that, it is a lovely place to have a drink. The prices are affordable as well.

Had menus on the table that the prices were out of date so got charged for when ordering food, not very clean, not one of the better wether spoons,

Busy so better to sit upstairs, food standard for a wetherspoons, service very good. Would go back as no issues with the place at all.

Ordered a simple bangers, peas, mash and gravy. I got fries, dried mash, sausagee and no gravy. The young lady behind the bar didn't think there was anything wrong with my the contents of my plate. Disgusting and unedible, that's really an insult for a regular meal. Some stoop very low by way of quality. Not returning of course

I attended the office Xmas party there and the people I met were all great and friendly. Met a new friend there as well and will definitely be going back there.

Place is so popular now gets crowded in the evenings.Good for a drink or meal.
