Comedy Cafe in Hackney

Quite possibly the best night out I've had in a long time. Good simple food to start. Great comedy. Then fun music from the 70s and 80s and 90s to finish. Highly recommend.

Entertaining night out for really good value. 3 comedians and a compare. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Would I go again? Yes. Great night out.

Gewoon een gezellig cafe met een goede menu kaart! Voor elk wat wils ! De Kip Tiki Masala is erg lekker (aanrader) Let wel goed op je bon als je afrekend , bij ons stond er een drankje extra op !! Nakijken dus. Verder erg lekker en betaalbaar

Visitamos este lugar volver en febrero con otros 2 amigos. sólo se sirve cerveza belga, que me pareció un poco raro, me gusta la sensación de este lugar. Es una habitación gigante con techos altos y suelos de madera, tiene un bar central y grandes mesas alrededor, significaba para compartir y socializar con otros bebedores de cerveza. Cuando visitamos la comedia era, sin embargo, había una instalación de arte en la planta baja y que era interesante que ver.El personal del bar era agradable pero ten tus bebidas ... son tan eficiente que llevar gafas incluso cuando no estás hecho!

The services was good but the food is not too good. I dont get used to take the flat beers. good place

Una buena comedia pero no volvería otra vez - Uno de los miembros del personal era desagradable y muy escaso. Mi colega dejamos casi cristal completo de cóctel en la mesa de la barra como ella estaba viendo la comedia, el próximo momento comprendió que el camarero había tomado su copa. Ella indicó que el camarero (una mujer) y el barman sostuvo que ese no era el caso. dicho Mi colega tenía unos 70% cóctel de la izquierda. Ella hizo otro (no en frente de nosotros, así que no puedo garantizar qué y cuánto ella añadida), ella le daba la bebida y para nuestra sorpresa ella se cargará 30% del precio de bebida. Estuvimos absolutamente estaban alteradísimos. Sin embargo, mi colega tuvo su bebida y luego ella se sintió muy mareado. Nos fuimos al club y no disfrutar el resto de la noche.

This is a tricky one. The Comedy Cafe is, as its name suggests, a venue for stand-up comedy in Shoreditch. It doesn't really pretend to be a restaurant and shouldn't be judging as such.Which is just as well really, because judging from what I saw and tasted, the food can't be taken at all seriously. In fact the plate of nachos my wife ordered was so bad that one of the comedians actually made fun of me, scolding me for "treating" her to something so bad.But like I said, don't hold it against the Comedy Cafe. The staff were really friendly and did a diffcult job very well -- you try serving a raucous, tanked-up roomful of people on a hot Saturday night.More importantly, the comedy itself was great, even if I was the butt of the odd joke or two. Probably served me right for sitting so close to the stage.
