My local pub! Great Pizza and a selection of pints. Staff are very friendly and a classic pub vibe. Big screens at the back with all live sports.

Nice pub but the service could have been better. A girl behind a bar was a bit arrogant. We found someone’s jacket under a table, she rejected to take it to a safe place. Instead of that she just said: ‘they’ll come back to get it’ not sure i’d like to go back there.

Had an amazing dinner at The Duke of Wellington with great customer service from the staff! The pizza was delicious and atmosphere was very chilled and relaxing. Will definitely be visiting again :)

Nice pub... laid back atmosphere...conveniently located in a quiet street of the vibrant neighborhood of Dalston. Unmissable the Monday Pizza, where u can find all the types of Pizza for just 7£ , prepared by a proper Italian Pizzaiolo. Good selection of local crafted beer. Enjoyed it. 🍕 🍻

The very first place I saw Sun and warmth in London. Only for that this is already an unique place.

Good pub. Plenty of options and decent food. I was there during a sports match so it was pretty loud and busy but we still had a table and could sit and chat

Lovely Victorian pub near Dalston Junction. Large screen for watching sport in one room, but not throughout the pub - so great to have a choice. Really good selection of craft beers and other drinks on offer. Pizza was really good too. Definitely worth visiting.

Great lively Victorian pub that shows sports in one room, but if you're not a fan, the rest of the pub is available for non fans. Great atmosphere in both spaces and pizza is available from a wood burner. Great for a good night out with beers, wines, spirits, cocktails all there. Thoroughly recommended.

I have a bunch of locals, this is easily my favourite - great food, staff, beer and selection of sports on the TV - highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!

Flies everywhere. Tired and dirty pub. Awfully staffed. Over an hour wait for a Pizza. Would be quicker to walk to Pizza Union. Clearly poorly managed. Better pubs nearby. Do NOT waste your time. The 5* reviewers clearly got carried away in the sun!

Very disappointed experience at lunch today. We ordered roast lunch. The vegetables were overcooked and there was a total lack of green. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt and the crackling was hard as hell. Finishing with this sort of sticky toffee pudding.. which it was more a sundae than a pudding. Also, after paying we realised they messed up with the prices and over charged us. We won't be never back again to this place. Terrible, terrible, terrible

honestly, one of the worst experiences I've had in a pub but I can't help but laugh. the pizza is genuinely the worst I've had in a decade (13 quid for a fairly small pizza btw) and the staff are blasting atrocious and eccentric music (dubstep cover of Marvin Gaye and Nina Simone type stuff) in an empty pub. honestly, used to be a decent pub, won't come back. tons of good pubs and food around, don't waste your money here.

Amazing pub with great live sport options, air conditioning, Tiny rebel on tap too which is an incredible brew for UK standards. Great indoor outdoor flow with very friendly staff. Would come again/10.

Long time punter first time reviewer. After watching Utd lose to Brighton on the big screen here I had to commit something to paper: It's on a quiet road, there's a droll Irish publican, mix of cask and keg, they have an O-shaped island bar, actually great pizzas (vegan/normal), interior is class above and props to 'em for showing the ladies footy for years. Noughties pop ballads playing last time – a bold choice – but each to their own.

awful… you have 4 cocktails on your menu, one is an espresso martini. Yet when me and my friends asked for one, all 7 of us were turned away because no staff knew or were willing to try and make one. Do better or just take it off the menu

Staff made no attempt to secure our table when other people were sat in it. Uncaring and poor management.

Awful management - if you make a booking don’t expect them to follow through with it- a complete lack of interest of care for their patrons - won’t be returning

It was a great place to come today when the sun was shining but also as a few drops fell the canopys were deployed. Nice Guinness and a range of beers to keep the group happy. Would recommend!

We've have been waiting for ages to get served, in fact, we were completely ignored. When we finally got a beer, it was of the average quality. This pub is definitely not worth a visit.

Great pub, we came on a Wednesday night when they do £7 pizzas. Good beer selection, nice cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and the pizzas were really tasty and with a great selection of toppings (and very satisfying - the menu implies they are lighter than other pizzas but I thought they were pretty normal in that regard). Will definitely be back!

The best pub in East London. Always great music in the main room, best place to watch sport in Dalston in the second room, plus amazing pizzas, good beers, and nice staff. 10/10.

We really enjoyed our time in the Duke of Wellington on our three night stay in the area.The staff really made us and our dog feel welcome. The place has a really nice atmosphere inside and out. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you like a pizza with your beer or wine.

A really great local pub - full of natural light, great selection of tap beers (Beavertown Bones Lager is my pick!) and delicious pizza. A fave to watch the F1 on a Sunday arvo over a pint.

I like this pub a lot! Always got nice beers on tap and cask. Flatboys pizzas are delicious (and only £7 on a Wednesday!). Good place to watch the footy. Staff are always friendly too!

This place is a wee hidden gem. Great pizzas, great selection of beers and wines and spirits, great staff (extremely friendly and accommodating) shows the football on multiple screens that are not too offensive for those that are not interested in it but still want to be in the pub and so all in all a great pub. 4 stars instead of 5 as I just wish it was bigger but hey bigger problems than that at other places if this is the one gripe :)

Went for the Euro finals, pub was nice, if a little pricey but good craft beers and the pizzas were tasty!

Big barmen with the long hair and beard an embarrassment to this ‘sports’ pub. Challenging patrons for downing a drink, turning down pre game music because he has a headache and has to work till 12, complaining that people cheer during the game and best of all cheering himself when England concede in a major final. Never seen a less friendly and more miserable bloke in my life, cheer up son it might never happen.

What a fantastic pub! Really great, the team Jessie, Anna, Alex and Ned are always warm and friendly. This place wasn't the best in the past but a few years ago when Jessie and his team took it over they have breathed new life and an excellent buzz into the place. The beer selection....brilliant, always something new in there to try.... but best of all is the Pizza some of the best pizza in London. You should totally visit this place.

Fabulous local bar/restaurant with one of the best pizza in town. Really yummy food, the people loved it and it is always busy. Give it a try if you are in area. Ps: Super friendly staff!
