Absolutely lovely cafe and shop. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent coffee. Nice-looking menu which we hope to sample another time. Good clean customer toilet. Really interesting range of cards and other goods as well as food etc in the shop. I went as part of a trip to see the village with my elderly mum and we were offered a very interesting information sheet to look as we drank our coffee and we were able to have it photocopied, which very much enhanced our walk in this interesting and historic village. Highly recommended.

Only went into the shop to get a newspaper but whilst in there took advantage to ask about the buses from Bathford into Bath. The lady in the shop couldn’t have been more helpful, really pleasant and friendly.

We had just moved the area when we first wandered into the shop, and they were totally charming. The volunteers who work here are all lovely, and were very welcoming to us as newcomers. They sell a lot of local produce, including some really delicious bread, fantastic pies and tasty fresh veg. And they also have regular useful things like cereal, detergent, wine + newspapers. We love this shop, and we've been back several times in the weeks since. Big love + thanks to the volunteers who run it.

The Bathford Village Shop Community Cafe store has been the go-to place in the quiet residential Bathford neighborhood for several years. All the volunteer staff help as best they can to give great service and good food and drinks. Prices are fair too! It's just a nice neighborhood general store!

I love the local shop but why are the staff consistently rude , I appreciate they are volunteering their time but it does not give some of them the right to look down on people !!

There are some nice fresh local products, especially meats and cheeses and baked goods, at the Bathford Village Community store. Worth a visit, or if you just need to pick up something quick, that's good too. Read the local "news" on the bulletin boards. A lot going on in this little town.

In Bathford on Sunday morning, if you can get there before 0900 you may be able to be lucky enough to sample the delicious baked on site croissants!! Recently moved back to the village to be amazed and surprised at the stunning aroma wafting from the old coaching inn which is now a thriving community shop early one Sunday morning, whilst out exercising my elderly Labrador. Further investigation started the mouth watering and I discovered these are baked every Sunday morning. How I never ordered my croissants in French I don't know!!!!!!!! Even the walk back home was a struggle, trying desperately not to eat them! Might just add that the following Sunday I was a little later going only to find they had sold out☹️ will not be making that mistake again!! Oh and the rest of the shop and Cafe are great too! But for me try the croissants!!

I really enjoy walking through the woods to the village shop and cafe. The shop is well stocked, there is a cash machine and all sorts of services. The cafe serves a good breakfast, you can buy a paper and the cost is reasonable. Great stop to refuel on a walk.

We live in the village and are very lucky to have such a wonderful shop and cafe on our doorstep! We popped in for breakfast for the first time the other day and were not disappointed! The food is cooked fresh to order, is very tasty, reasonably priced and served with a smile. We will definitely be back!

My family and I visited somer dining for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed! The food and service was too such an amazing standard and all the staff looked smart and were very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. The portions of meat were a little small but you can’t complain with such an affordable price and this ment there was room for dessert. I would definitely recommend!

The lady at the entrance had a horrible welcome attitude. We were recently at the branch in Windsor two days ago, and it was an amazing experience ,that’s why we decided to go to the branch in Bath. Unfortunately, the food was horrible, they placed us in an area where no body was around, only the lovely locas were in a different area. I would strongly suggest to not visit this branch in Bath. I swear to God, do not come here, it’s not worth it.

We loved staying at this hotel. The decor in the room made it feel very elegant and classically English. There was tea, coffee, water and cookies in the room and the bathroom had Bramley toiletries. On arrival we were offered a complimentary drink and snacks at the bar which was a nice touch. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly, and we really liked the breakfast. The location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of Bath. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
