Travelled from the U.S. and lived down the road. Tried Nando’s for Peri Peri chicken and it fell short of expectations. But the Peri peri wings here are honestly the best ever !!! Usually takes a little time to get it cooked but definitely worth it. Whenever I come to visit the UK again, I am sure to go back here for some wings !!!

The worse place I’ve never 👎 seen, I ordered double burger 🍔 and 2 hot wings as offer of the day, but the surprising thing that I found the double burger 🍔 missing 2 components which there’s no lettuce 🥬 also there’s no sliced cheese, so when I asked him why there’s no salad he said that I forgot to buy lettuce and I’m going now to buy it, the 2 wings is full of oil. And furthermore that the sauces bottles is dirty and missed presented and I will upload one of the pictures

Food is food you get what you pay for here personally never had a problem but I might just be lucky. When I got here I asked for chicken (in a chicken shop would you believe) and the guy asked me to pick something else as it would take too long, I then picked a burger and got the same response. Food then took way too long to arrive considering it’s fast food, I’d much recommend you go to the other one up the road by the bus stop. When you get in there’s a couple of tables often unclean, the floor is very unclean and there’s very few condiments offered, you have to share with everyone else in there. I believe this is a fair review since I’ve come here multiple times and never really caught them on a good day, leaving me to believe that there’s never a good one Update: finished the food, it was vile I had no more than 2 bites before I couldn’t have anymore, rarely do I leave food unfinished but this time I just did

Don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. The food is excellent, both in quality and taste. Today we ordered fried chicken strips, a chicken fillet burger and fries but we were also kindly given a whole portion of chicken biryani. The fried food was great but the biryani is what really got me surprised. Super yummy, and again, it was given for free out of the owner’s kindness. Been here a few times and the food and service is always amazing.

Best fries in the area and it's one of the few chicken shops locally that does a pretty good pizza too!

We were literally ripped off, I took a family box of 20 spicy wings and two small fries for 9.99 pounds. And extra fries, we were charged 17 pounds at the cash register...???? So a difference of 7 pounds for a few extra fries. No smile, no kindness, it smells bad, oil already used several times, not clean. In short, move on.

Wish we have rating in minus so i could give that. The food consistently falls short of expectations at this establishment. Whether it's being served cold, undercooked, or emitting an unpleasant odor, my experiences have been consistently disappointing. Today, I purchased a chicken wrap, took just one bite, and immediately detected an off-putting, uncooked scent from the chicken. Unfortunately, this recurring issue has left me with no choice but to avoid buying from this shop in the future. I strongly advise against visiting this place. I went here last week and ordered a chicken burger and when I took a bite it was all pink inside , the wings taste oily . Happened once here with the wings but I gave the benifit of the doubt but no change whatsoever ever

Order was cancelled through Uber after 1 hour waiting soooooo disappointed. If there is no driver do not accept the order. I have a small kid starving.

I know it's only fast food but I thought the quality of the food deserves a review. It's very good quality, fresh and steaming hot. The service is also very efficient and friendly.The interior could do with an update but on the whole, would recommend!

I went there the first day it opened looked very clean.But when I went to order I got 6 wings with chips because of the 50% first day discount. When I went to eat I noticed hair on my food and when I tried speaking to them about it they ignored and said it was my own hair. When I looked at the back the chips were being undercooked and the staff was eating the wings and the chips with there fingers. When I got home at realised I caught food poisoning from the plane and Diarrhea. Never going there again.

Basilico used to be really good. A couple of years ago it was easily my favourite pizza place. But it's just gotten worse and worse. Last night was maybe the worst ever. The website goes on and on about the high quality, passion etc. But they don't provide anyway to contact them. Anyway, I guess management has changed or something. Now the prices keep going up and charges change randomly. They keep changing the rules to make it harder to spend your "loyalty" points and the pizzas are just a disaster.

I wish I’d seen these reviews earlier, there was a queue at Franca Manca in Bermondsey so after a film at Kino we went home and thought we’d order. Some years ago I’d ordered from them and it was great, it’s the most expensive pizza around. We had two small pizzas, with a thin dry base, tiny and over £40! Anywhere is better than this, the ready made at Waitrose is a lot better.

0 stars is not possible..... Where do I start...? I have been living in the area for 9 years, and I used to like ordering there, the food was decent and never had any problems at the beginning. Then I honestly don't know what happened, maybe change of management or something like that but it all went downhill and I just stopped ordering,people were being rude and missing stuff on my orders...... A while later, I thought I'll give it another go, well: What was i thinking???? The order I received was wrong, so naturally I call and tell them, The lady I spoke to offered a refund or a replacement, so I chose a refund only because she brought it up. Then she calls me back saying she won't do a refund they still have time to deliver another pizza (under 45min rule). I said it's too late I already made other arrangements, so she says the manager will call me back. I was eating when he called, I said I can't talk I'm eating now.... he didn't say a word and put the phone down on me... when I called back, I told how him that's not appropriate behaviour.... Hell broke loose, he went from 0 to 60 and was full on shooting at me..... So I gave up and put the phone down. Now about the food, very quick and simple: the Tiramisu used to be good now it's disgusting, the pizza, well I didn't get it and I didn't get my refund either....

As a native Italian, I was disappointed in the pizza without basil but more importantly the tiramisu was terrible. The ingredients were more similar to a panettone.

i live 2mins from this place im fifty and have lived here all my life,i stopped useing this place about eight months ago because of the qaulity of the pizza went down but i thought i would give it another try.....oops my mistake..... its all about the profits and the idiot in charge(because its so obvious what they are doing here) who only cares about a quick buck and having read some of the replys they give like "sorry all the best" or "write to headoffice" is a blatant disregard for anything you got to say and it seems more interested in taking from tourists than locals.now i know different days and times may have different pizza makers even tho these days any old tom dick or saddam can throw up a pizza(sic)anyway i got another, and it will be the last one,which was cold burnt had ingredients missing and which were so sparse on sauce and mozzarella it tasted like cardboard and it cost £17.75.this particular basilico should be shut down before it brings down the whole of the basilico empire especially with soooo much competition in the area just take a walk up bermondsey street 30 seconds from this shop you will find VIA PIZZA AND FRANCA MANCA PIZZA PIZZA PILGRIM PAPA JOHNS AND MORE they should all do takeaway .please dont be ripped off this place only cares about profit AND WHAT YOU DONT KNOW YOU DONT MISS... on the website you see the PAPA AWARD 2015 if they went there now they would take it back its disgusting you might get lucky but its not worth taking the risk at the prices you pay i have sent a complaint to headoffice not that im interested in what they have got to say because it a standard reply......this is why tripadvisor is brilliant now one bad review can warn others where before headoffice will file it in the bin because your just one person now they should care its your money they are wasting.. for many its a once a month treat or more im angry because this place has been consistent with this practice its not just a one off believe me,so roll the dice and good luck actually no dont rely on luck because you have been warned.

I ordered an 18 inch pizza. It arrived an hour late cold and dry. What was worse is that it had almost no toppings at all! We were completely shocked that for £21 all we got was bread and cheese! Will never ever order again, worst pizza ever! Dominos is ten times better- dont bother wasting your money

We always use Basilico delivery when staying in the Tower Bridge area. Their website is easy to use with a great half and half option. We have always found deliveries to be prompt and efficient with a decent quality product being produced. The menu is comprehensive with some really tasty and spicy pizzas depending on what you like. If you open an online account with them they award you points for each order which can later be exchanged for cash against future orders.

Ordered 6 18 inch pizzas and garlic bread to be delivered for a party. Arrived on time and tasted great. Easy to order, good range, and tasty. Price was reasonable too. Would happy use again.

We enjoyed yet another great pizza meal from here on a Friday evening. There is a fabulous selection of varieties but what we really like if there is just the two of us is the 'half and half' where you can get two different types on one large pizza. Delivery was prompt and the food warm.

Best pizza in Bratislava! The only complain is that they charged us 1.80 EUR for Tap water which they wrote in the bill as Bonaqua. Other than that we all loved the pizza! But not fair to charge for tap water.

Me separen con 15 libras por lo que puedo decir sin una pizca de hyperbole era la más pequeña de pizza que me he encontrado. Minúscula. Tus preguntas --como en mi pequeño compañero de comedor (que había tenido el buen sentido de pedir de otro sitio) en realidad se rió y me ofreció algunos de sus alimentos. Yo estaría avergonzado por enviar la comida a cualquier cliente, que había pagado 15 libras. Para la doble el costo de una pizza Dominos de ese tamaño, yo habría esperado leaf golf.

This place is a million miles better that the "pizza" that is so popular in this country which is nothing like the Italian originals. It hands down beats Dominoes or Papa Johns or any of the other pizza places around except possibly Franco Manca.The pizza base is the winner here, there isn't much to say about the toppings as these are pretty minimalist and the pizza is overpriced for what it is. Some of them are up to £18 which is about twice as much as I would feel happy paying having had a couple of orders from here.In summary - nothing special to justify the cost.

Have read the reviews and surprised. I had deliveries from the Tower bridge store three times through August, all times the pizza arrives fresh and very tasty. I live within 10 minutes of the site, if you're close or picking up, I recommend it. It's expensive but well worth the extra dollars over other chains. The mushrooms and Spanish/cured meats are particularly good.

The pizza is certainly expensive, but you cannot get the same quality elsewhere. Only those who understand the taste and make of Roman pizza would appreciate this shop

This is the second time I have tried pizza from here after being unimpressed the first time. I have to say that my opinion hasn't improved much. The pizzas were delivered much quicker than last time but the quality wasn't great. The base at the edge of the pizza was almost inedible as it was so hard. Not worth the price you pay.

One was luke-warm and fairly tasty, the other was stone cold and tasted stale. When we called to complain we were told that no-one was authorised to refund the inedible pizza. I expected great quality for the money. Big disappointment.

I find it confusing and irritating when you have an Italian labelled business run by people that probably never been to Italy. A basic margherita costs £9,49 and it is of the same quality you find in Tesco or Lidl for a fraction of the cost; My advice: best to take something in your local supermarket - will be probably more authentic!

Ordered online, having spotted it nearby to where I live and thought it having a nice pizza oven it would be good. However, ordering at 19:05 Friday night, my confirmation email said up to 60-70 which would be fine if it hadn't taken 2hours and arrived cold. Not even warm, cold. The driver was polite and apologetic and I'd not have minded if if the pizza wasn't dry and tacky to eat. The antipasto was either generic tasting - from a jar- or off, the mozzarella tasted sour and the mushrooms were hard and dry.I really wanted to find a redeeming quality but it was awful.Way overpriced and bad service overall.

Best Pizza i have ever had from a take -away in a long time ,i had one about 3 months ago and was very disappointed, as the topping was poor and it arrived about an hour late,cold ,however a friend of mine was with me ,and said he had a Pizza from these people a week ago and it was very good so i gave them another chance, i popped into the shop and,ordered a large salami pizza ,and some ice cream ,the pizza was tasty and the topping was generous . The ice cream although not cheap was of a high standard . i will be using this shop again .the staff where very friendly and polite ,whatever has changed in the last few months it works ,would recommend to anybody now.

A fairly standard attempt at gourmet delivery pizza. The pizza itself is of a high standard. Solid ingredients and interesting combinations. The problem with 'proper pizza' is that it loses its main attraction in transit - the smokey aroma of a wood-fired oven... so more of a problem with the concept rather than the delivery.Very expensive for a takeaway pizza too.

We were staying in a hotel apartment for a couple of nights this weekend and wanted to order pizza. We saw the usual companies online but decided we wanted something a bit more special. Basilico's online menu looked fantastic and we ordered two medium pizzas. The online ordering system was easy to use and our pizza was delivered within about half an hour (not bad for a Saturday night!). It was really good quality. The guy that delivered the pizza was so friendly. We would definitely use this company again if we were staying in London.

I hate to say it, but this local was poor for the following reasons: - They forgot my order even though I was standing there! So that led to a 30min wait! Not happy! - Just lacked flavour - bland, I had to sprinkle cayenne pepper on everything. - Worst thing - it feels like a ton of bricks in my stomach - that feeling lasting all night and well into the next day... maybe they need to prove the base more. I want to support local business, but they need to up the flavour/seasoning and they need to sort out their time management.

Website doesn't say no Amex just crashes. So phoned and person could not speak English. Colleague took phone from her and said "sorry she can't speak English". Why is she answering the phone then??? Anyway pizza ordered. Nearly 30 quid one large pizza and garlic bread. Both dry hardly any topping. 9 x 3cm thin slices pepperoni extra £3. Felt totally ripped off. Would be happy to spend thirty pounds if pizza had some topping. Don't do it.

I am an events manager for a firm not far away from Tower Hill.We use to use another very well known pizza firm but it was deemed unsuitable for work events, as although it was good (so so good) it just didn't look very nice. As such we switched to Basilico.I often order 10 plus pizzas and feed 30+ people fortnightly. They are thin but the toppings are quite different and unusual and they do look good. As such they do go down well and there is rarely any left.Having said that I never order Basilico unless I'm ordering for work. You pay out a lot of dough for really not much dough. The pizzas are very thin and, despite that fact, they are often not cut very well.Helpful Hint - if it's good hearty greasy fast food oozing with thick melted cheese that you want this is not the place for you. if you want a pizza that leaves you knowing you had a take away but not feeling too bad about yourself then this is the place for you. So thin & fresh it's almost healthy.Also if you are ordering large orders for work ring up and place the order the day before. They have let me down just 30 minutes before an event telling me they were just too busy....

At £18 for an 18 inch pizza for two (don’t be fooled by dimensions...18 inches of wafer thin dough is actually less substantial than a 12 inch domino’s) it’s fair to expect something pretty decent. Sadly our most recent, and definitely last, order from basilico was highly disappointing. For that kind of price you expect some serious toppings not, as we experienced, a pizza nearly devoid of the more expensive ingredients (I counted 4 anchovies and two slithers of artichoke on our Quattro Stagione) then filled out with the cheap stuff...mushrooms, etc.What is a fair mark-up on the cost price of food? Most restaurateurs would say 300%; the retail price should cover ingredients 4 times. But 18 inches of dough and tomato sauce, plus a sprinkling of the headline stuff, is not even close to £4.50 and frankly insults the customer.Delivery speed was poor too. Basilico is the closest pizza shop to our address, 5 minutes walk, yet we waited close to an hour. In summary not a good choice for pizza and in a crowded market you can and should.

This Basilico offers only delivery, and the service is absolutely fine and the pizza's are always good!

The pizza bases are very thin and a bit too crispy for my taste. I prefer the pizza from Pizza Lupa for something more hearty (plus the sizes are much larger!)

enjoyed in London some really good food from here. Coming from Italy it was always going to be a tough job to do a great pizza for us in authentic stle. Very happy to say these guys are authentic. Online they offer a free bottle of wine & the red is local classic italian- simpatico.

Has taken a nose dive in quality in recent months. It used to be expensive and good, now it's just expensive. Recently the pizzas I have ordered have arrived undercooked and Luke warm. Oddly they have even stopped cutting up the pizzas. Why? How much effort does that take? You would expect better from somewhere so pricey.

The pizzas at basilico are cooked in a different way.. but they are very dry & they hadly add the fillings in the pizza.. like if u order a chicken pizza you hardly find chicken pieces on the pizza.. they don't give any dips either so I feel the pizza bland and dry and since its been made in a different way the pizza base is too hard to chew.. its fine once in a while but I would not prefer it all the time

I paid £12.10 for a 10 inch pizza with extra mushrooms (about 12 slices of mushroom) and about 10 cms of ham. To me this represents very very very poor value for money and so I will never order/collect a pizza from there again

Ordered a pizza from the tower bridge branch , the same pizza I order almost every week, to the same address. After a whole hour of waiting I phone back and even though I had to repeat my telephone number twice they have said that they weren't able to complete my order because of insufficient detail . I now had to wait another half hour for he same pizza. This is the second time they have messed up. The last time they delivered a fish pizza when I ordered a vegetarian pizza. When I complained no attempt to offer a discount or anything. They are awful.
