Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza - Southwark in Southwark

High hopes of a pizza with the GORDON RAMSAY brand attached to it. Do not book here, it is awful. I wish I had checked trip advisor first! Bottomless pizza concept, ridiculous. You're never really got eat more than one pizza. My 8 year old had to have water as they ran out of apple juice. Pizza was über thin, tasteless, tomato sauce was runny. Glass of wine over-priced.

Being a Gordon Ramsey establishment I was expecting top notch Neapolitan style pizza. Sadly this wasn’t the case. Most pizzas didn’t have a tomato base (they had usual bases such as sweetcorn puree or courgette) and had very little cheese or toppings. The cheese itself wasn’t the classic Fior Di Latte but rather a cheap tasteless substitute. The pizzas tasted cheap, and although they were cooked in a traditional oven, I’ve had better frozen pizzas from my supermarket. Drinks all served in cans or bottles. It seemed the waitresses have been instructed to hard sell the side dishes and drinks, which isn’t surprising as you see Gordon instructing his staff to do just this on the TV We were in and out within the hour and were also slapped with a 15% service charge so no tip I’m afraid. I expected a lot better from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. He appears to have sold himself out!!

The premises were good and our waitress excellent. Sadly that’s where the positives stopped! The pizza was extremely disappointing and the drinks expensive. The addition of a 15% service charge was an unwelcome surprise. Given Gordon Ramsay's supposed association with the restaurant I had expected far better but, instead, was left with the wish that we had gone to Pizza Express instead!! We will not be returning.

Visited as a treat while in London, and wish we hadn’t. Pizza’s were average at best and only a few options on the menu. And the high cost plus a service charge which doesn’t seem to be an option, for what was an average to poor experience.

Patricia was so helpful, we loved the atmosphere and service. Food was delicious and made a good day even better. I definitely would recommend we ended up staying and played pool and darts. Thank you Patricia for being so helpful and fun.

Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Money Despite the potential of the concept, the execution fell far short. One wonders if Gordon Ramsay has ever dined at this establishment or truly endorses it. While our initial impression upon entering was positive, the experience quickly deteriorated. The Cannelloni we wanted was sold out after lunchtime and being vegetarian we were limited to a plain Margarita Pizza with no toppings allowed. Even when slices were brought to our table, they were cold. After expressing our dissatisfaction to the manager, they kindly agreed to prepare a fresh pizza with an additional topping, which arrived hot but slightly burnt. By then, we were already full from the previous cold slices. Though a complimentary drink was offered as a gesture of goodwill, it was not in a sealed can like the first drink so was wasted as I was leaving and couldn’t take it with me. This experience left much to be desired and is not one we intend to repeat. Despite the friendly staff and clean facilities, the disappointment in the food overshadowed any positives. When Gordon Ramsay's name is associated with a venue, one expects excellence, but sadly, this was not the case here.

Wura was a perfect host, we had a great lunch with great service. First time here and the service and food was beyond expectations

Great food, great atmosphere and great service form milo and Patricia. We were not left waiting. Milo was on hand if we needed anything and everything we order was out quick sharp. 5 stars all round

There were two vegetarians in our group and Milo our waiter made sure we were well catered for; the special pizza tonight was vegan so that was great for us. Angel the manager ran a friendly place efficiently.

The quality of the service is every time lower than the previous time. The staff needs a different organisational training and not only an hosting training.

I went there with some friends and I LOVED it! They have flowing pizzas coming to your table. Patricia was working by herself on the floor and still did an amazing job bringing all the drinks, endless slices, and refilling the ice cream machine for us! Not to mention all the games - OMG, we had a blast playing all games. Kudos to Federico, who was a sweetheart and explained a cocktail to me upon my arrival even though I chose to have a Meantime IPA. He also took really good care of my friends, making our night super fun and special. This place is great for gathering with friends and having a memorable time! No judgments but ham and pineapple pizza is the best!

Although there wasn't any option to just buy a single pizza without having to commit to the 'Bottomless' option, we found the pizza to be on par with the best we've ever had in London. But unfortunately, you can't just come in a group with the goal of some buying pizza and some buying other menu items to share with each other. The rule here is that 'You can't share any pizza slice with anyone that isn't in for the Bottomless option'.

We are huge GR fans and have been to Street Pizza many times and a couple of times at this same location. Never thought I’d give any of the establishments under his name such poor rating as I’ve been so disappointed. If I didn’t have a perfect experience, I would just not post it because it is still a 4.5 star… until now. We came on New Year’s Day for dinner, there was no one when we arrived around 6 but it got a bit busier maybe 6 tabletops. - in the middle of the service when everyone was looking around at each other wondering why it was taking so long and why we were staring around instead of eating pizza, the pizza chef out on his coat and walked out. He came back about 15 mins late, I presume from a smoke break lol - we got served 1 slice each in the first 45 mins minutes - the shortest wait between offerings was over 20 mins but most of the time we were sitting around for well over 30 mins with nothing to do - wait staff was inexperienced and a slice of pizza fell right into my lap and new dress - luckily we didn’t have anywhere else to go and could stay for over 2.5 hours but the table next to us had a show to go to and left after 3 slices - despite the long wait, they kept repeating the same toppings so actually much worse than the initial wait sounds (family next to us got to eat 2 slices of the same pizzas and 1 new topping before they had to leave) - after 2.5+ hours, we left out of frustration and boredom and were STILL hungry! - to still charge us service charge is crazy (didn’t want to ask to take it off because it was the holidays but probably should have considering our New Year’s Day was seriously dampened, we went home hungry and annoyed lol)

Came to Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza for a work social event. The vibe was great and I loved the decor, drinks and pizza. Our server was Ashley Phoenix who was an absolute superstar. She explained everything well and was super patient and kind. Would definitely visit again.

Went here with my partner and had a great time. We were ushered to our seats by the flamboyant manager who added elements of theatricality to the evening's service. The food (bottomless pizza for £18) was delicious and we were served quickly and by friendly members of the team. Sadly there was a small shortage of margarita pizza as some boy was obsessed and other thirsty customers seemed to drink all the limoncello. That said, we both had a wonderful evening and we will definitely return.

Excellent service from milo and patricia

Awful experience. Service was slow and dismissive. Pizza was cold half the time and not a great range of flavours to suit your party - very stingy on the cheese. The cocktails were £10 but canned and not made in house, and the glasses were dirty. We were also seated next to the arcade games so all we could hear was basketballs and screaming children. One of our guests had sauce spilt on him by a waiter with no apology at all. We expressed our unhappiness at the end with the staff and we were told it was because they only had two chefs working, but still no apology at all. We noticed that a lot of other tables were also complaining, so clearly not just a one off from us. If you want pizza, I beg you go somewhere else. Its London, you'll find a place that's still well priced and just better all round.

Had a great time eating their bottomless pizza! They had an amazing chorizo pizza! Fredrico was an absolute star and such an attentive host! You have to try the JFC dirty fries! It was Fredrico’s recommendation and it was delicious! Also the chicken wings are a must! So affordable and worth every penny! 🍕🍕

Good selection of interesting pizzas (vegan Nudja & courgette was amazing, fresh and fiery). Staff were great and friendly and kept the tasty pizzas coming. The kids and I tapped out after about 5 and 7 slices respectively, wife hung on for more butternut & blue cheese/corn & chicken pizza. Kids ended their meal with ice cream in an edible chocolate cup! The lovely waitress (sorry i didn't get your name) came over and took one of them away to add more ice cream :) I've knocked a star off, purely because I felt the 3 (lovely) staff were rushed off their feet having to do everything (meet, greet, serve drinks/pizza/desserts) so a few times I had to get their attention ...but that's not really a reflection on them but the management. Overall, really enjoyed and would come again.

Bottomless pizza for £18. It’s the kind of very thin pizza. Tasted good. They bring all flavours to your table and you are able to customise the flavour if you are allergic to some ingredients. Many games available in the restaurant so you can play while eating. Such as basketball machine, pool, dots, and a photo booth. Very good for team outing or friends gathering. Total bill includes sides and drinks, we paid about £34 each.

We were very well look after by Milo at Southwark Street Pizza. He was very attentive and made sure we received as much Margherita pizza (for my 7yr old) as she could eat. It was a hit!

Very poor service, only one waiter for a dinner shift! Unlimited pizza was a scam especially for that price. Since the server rarely came round. All in all about half a pizza was eaten for a total of £18 not including service charge. I was most looking forward to playing pool but there was only one pall stick to play with. Shoot the ball in the hoop worked half the time although glitchy and the table football was sticky. When it came to pay, they tried to force us into paying for 2 bottomless ice cream instead of one just because I let my friend try half a teaspoon. If they were upset they should have let us know in the moment, or on the menu that we were not allowed to taste each others food. If we had been older they certainly would not have had the audacity to do this. Perhaps they thought they could get away with it just because we were slightly younger than the demographic. All in all, we did not appreciate the subpar service quality (or the servers attitude) or the half broken games ESPECIALLY for the high end prices.

Great concept, with a range of pizza flavours to try, and as much as you can eat. Food was awesome, free games which were great for the kids, and we received superb and attentive service from Milo. Definitely recommend.

What a HUGE turnaround from Union Street to this . Shoddy menu , table full of empty food . It’s quite shameful what has happened to this location. Never again.

This is without doubt the worst service I have ever received in a pizza restaurant. We were sat down at 5.15, and by the time we finally agreed to call it a night 2 hours later, our bottomless pizza had consisted of 2 slices of pizza each. Despite numerous reminders to staff members, we were met with long faces, shrugged shoulders, and on occasions being completely ignored. It was clear the restaurant didn't have the capacity for the number of diners, bigger tables were catered for it seems, but smaller tables just weren't a consideration, we saw other tables with similar experiences. The reality is do in that time frame a pizza place with good infrastructure would have been able to give everyone their own pizza. They market the restaurant as though people keep coming round with huge boards of pizza until you have had enough. The reality is £36 for 4 slices of pizza. It's a con, and clearly uses the wait time to get people to stock up on sides. If Gordon was here for kitchen nightmares, he would have flipped out at the service.

only 5 pizza options and 3 of them are pork based so we had to eat only the vegan and margarita which kind of sucks when you go somewhere for “new” taste and experiences. it took them long enough to sit us down, employees look like they hate their job. it’s also confusing how everything works as when you sit no one comes back for so long so you have no idea how to even order and they’ll blame business for slow service when they just look understaffed and depressed. thanks Gordon love ur stuff here x

Fantastic place. Loved the atmosphere and the decor, with polished concrete floors still showing some of their yellow PUWUR markings, all mingled with a nice wooden frame and faux climbing plants. The pizza was out of this world, I mean fantastic. And great value at 18 pound per head for bottomless pizza. We arrived at roughly 20:00 and were met by the manager, a lovely fellow who was attentive and interested in his guests. Francia, our waitress, was also fantastic. Attentive and she also remembered we had said we fancied desert when we sat down. Staff, atmosphere, food, all top class. I will be making a point of returning here, both my partner and I loved it.

Fun place but not cut out for large groups. I booked a table for 15 for a birthday celebration. We were told in advance that we’d have to order from the £40 per person set menu - which seemed quite a bit more expensive than the price for smaller groups but I was happy to agree given the fun bottomless pizza concept. However on the night in question, the kitchen was just not able to cope with the demand. There was not enough pizza! Each person in our group probably only had 3-5 slices of pizza throughout the evening. It was a real shame because it was nice pizza but it seemed the chefs just couldn’t make enough of it! And it could not be described as ‘bottomless’. The manager agreed we hadn’t had a good experience so agreed to only charged our group £14 per person. We still had a good time given the fun surroundings (there are arcade-style games and a photo booth). But I would not recommend this venue for large groups.

Subject: Disappointing Dining Experience The experience fell short of expectations in several key areas. The overall food and service experience can be best described as mediocre, as the bottomless pizza menu offered only has six flavors, and all light on ingredients. One particular issue that stood out was the inconsistency in the way pizzas were served to different table sizes. While your staff informed us that pizzas would be brought to the table and served in pieces, we observed that larger tables of 6 persons and above were allowed to order whole pizzas of their choice. When I inquired to do the same, I was told that it applied only to large tables and not to a table of 4. This inconsistency struck me as unreasonable, especially since this rule was not clearly communicated on the menu or in any written policy. Despite bringing this to the attention of your staff and highlighting the lack of a published policy, my concerns were disregarded. The dismissive response, coupled with the unexplained delays of 10-15 minutes between pizza servings, left a lasting negative impression. Regrettably, based on this experience, I have no intention of returning to your establishment and feel compelled to share my disappointment with others and advise against dining at your restaurant. I hope that this feedback can serve as an opportunity for improvement and that future patrons will have a more positive experience.

Amazing pizza and atmosphere! Milo was a great server!!

We had a great evening at Street Pizza. The pizza was super tasty and there were loads of trays coming around. Our favourite was the Hawaiian pizza. The best part was our fantastic waitress Patrica Almeida who was super attentive and friendly. Massive thanks for a great evening!

Pizza? What pizza? In an hour and a half I received about 7 slices of pizza and in the 30 minutes after they kept deliberately missing our table out! I could understand if out time was up and we'd had our fair share but we'd barely been served at all! We had to repeatedly ask for our drinks which didn't show up, not once were we asked if we wanted any drinks/sides/dips etc. It was like pulling teeth trying to get service out of these guys! And the front of house guy had the gall to be annoyed that we wanted the service charge removed. There were many moments when I looked around the room and saw that none of the tables had any pizza, there were about 10 covers, fairly quiet. There would be pizzas in boxes on the counter getting cold, waiting for a delivery driver to pick them up, yet everyone in the restaurant has no food, explain this to me. There was one back of house guy who was doing sweet FA the whole time, the place wasn't busy therefore he doesn't have much cleaning to do, not his fault. However you can't run a restaurant with less than the minimum required staff and have someone standing around looking bored, get him doing something else. How about asking the customers if they needed anything (which we all did, it was clear to see)? Maybe make some of these drinks that we're all waiting for? The one other waiter was nice enough but it was clear he had friends at other tables and spent much of his time chatting to them and not serving. It was around 10 minutes wait between each slice of pizza, didn't take long before I was fed up. It was a shame as I've had a nice time at their other locations and the pizza is good. It was clear they were short staffed and badly managed, compounded by having a party in the next room and having to fulfill online orders. The staff had tunnel vision where their focus was on clearing and preparing empty tables and cleaning every plate and glass behind the bar, yet their customers (actual live human beings hoping and waiting to be served) were paid dust. 7pm on a Wednesday, should have went to any other restaurant to get a pizza and not have to wait 10 minutes between slices. Maybe order online for delivery, it might get their faster!

Food was 10/10, I loved the pizza and the dirty fries were something else. Shout out to Milo the way he served the pizza was excellent.

Amazing experience indeed! The bottomless pizza works perfectly, as you'll be able to enjoy different types. Thin yummy pizza with various ingredients. Great drinks and fantastic free games to enjoy with your friends. Shout-out to the friendly and professional staff, such as the manager and all the waitresses. Very impressive service for such an affordable and tasty dinner! Highly recommended!

Great place. Industrial feel spacious dining experience. The pizza was delicious and we ate more than we could manage! Loved the arcade basketball and table football. Our waitress Francia was friendly and fun with great service. Thanks for the experience. Will definitely recommend.

Wura was a a great waiter very kind, our drinks were brought fast. The pizzas were tasty, they brought them half and half meat and vegetarian which was nice. Sometimes the pizzas took a bit of time to come out between each one which would usually be ok, but not when we’re trying to eat as much pizza in 90 mins! I had 15 slices

We love Street Pizza! We often take friends. Love the concept, love the food, love the fun atmosphere and service is always great, especially with our regular favourite waiter Milo who always looks after us brilliantly.

Awesome food, the pizzas are delicious with a perfect crust! The service was outstanding - especially Patricia really made our day, she was so friendly and just kept the pizza coming. The pizza was really nice. Ingredients were fresh, and the service was great. Milo was super friendly and did a great job at answering all my questions about the ingredients. He put me at ease regarding certain allergies. It reminded me of the scene in The Internship where Vince Vaughn’s in the pizza restaurant chatting to the chefs there. Overall a splendid evening.

Pizzas were absolutely delicious, thin crusts means you can get your money's worth. Chicken wing was a good level of spice. Milo and team gave us really great service all night as well.

Not impressed. Decidedly average pizza, and super slow service. A slice of pizza every ten minutes is not dinner. Overpriced too. Would not go again.

Attended the Kids Pizza Masterclass and it was hosted perfectly! All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout; special thanks to Frederico who made my little cousins birthday extra special! Frederico is an amazing asset to your team and provided excellent customer service! Food was great, ambience was perfect and the arcade games available were an extra special touch!

I have lived in London for about two years and this was the best dining experience I have had. The waiter and manager were very kind and attentive. I eat a vegan diet and they helped me navigate the menu, letting me know all the options available. I had the vegan pizza and the vegan bites. They were both delicious. The location is in a great spot that does not get super busy. There was a large projection screen with the football game on, foosball table and photo booth. I cannot even put into words how great of an experience it was. I hope to go back again soon.

Terrible experience, expected a buffet, serve yourself style restaurant but instead it’s pizzas brought around by servers in a rotation through the menu, in principle it sounds like a good idea however we were sat for over 40 minutes and only received one slice of pizza, it had been so long we decided to order some sides to snack on while we waited for the pizza only to have to wait another 30 minutes for a bowl of chips. in the whole hour and a half we were there i managed to have 4 slices in total, also unable to have a conversation with my girlfriend because they had the F1 on so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. wouldn’t recommend unless you arn’t very hungry, don’t mind spending lots of money and also enjoy the F1

The pizza was decent, but not amazing. The TV was so loud that conversation was difficult, and there were several 15+ minute breaks between getting a slice. They only had 1 cook so we understood why it was taking so long, but it still definitely was not the experience we were hoping for.

A funky pizza establishment that escapes the rat race in Central London (but still being central) and brings the more laid back atmosphere of casual relaxed pizzaria. It's substantial in size and although underground does not feel claustrophobic and you can still receive data to chill while spending your two hours digging in to your bottomless pizza currently at £18 per person plus drinks. There is also a big screen with live sports and a pool table to give it the ultimate feel. The manager by the name Angel who welcomed us was very friendly and a true people's person that loves what he does and bringing with him the Italian flair and flamboyance. The pizza is fresh straight out the oven which you can see straight through while sat down at most tables watching the flames sizzle away Very much recommend!

Great customer service. Management handled a difficult situation really well and professionally, and turned our visit into an excellent experience. Staff was extremely friendly. I think it was the manager (Federico?) who looked after us. He was absolutely great and made us feel very welcome.

Great place to have all you can eat Pizza which comes really close to original Italian Pizza! Make sure that Patricia is serving you, a really great Person who lovely takes care of you! A must eat for me if you come to London!

Bit disappointed really. This is the first time I have tried Gordon Ramsey Pizza and was looking forward to it. Long story short the pizza was late being delivered, cold and tasteless. I kind of think ordering from 6:45pm through 8:00pm always has potential for problems. I can’t rate atmosphere as haven’t eaten in. Deliveroo did give a small 20 per cent credit note and everyone has a bad day so I’ll use this again to see if it’s any better. Have to say - I prefer Just Eat for delivery - their charges are much lower. Uber Eats do send better deals. When restaurants are not on top of their game it is unfair that the delivery guys have to wait 20/30 mins plus and lose potential business. Ok - just seen someone else not happy in reviews - bad night there.
