Terrible service from Aga the supervisor. Went to Franco on Friday night. Had a lovely server take our order. The orders were slow to arrive. Kids’ pizza came first followed by my wife and I’s salad. When I told Aga that our bites hadn’t arrived yet, she said that they normally arrive with the main. I expressed surprise at this and said I thought it would come out as a starter. ‘No, it does not work like that. You have to ask for the bites to come out first if you want it as a starter.’ I then ended up in a useless disagreement with her about customers expectations for which foods to come out first. As my table was right next to the oven, I could see the chicken bites had not been cooked and it seemed all this was because Aga did not want to admit this. All in all - an awful dining experience. The other servers were great but let down by the Aga restaurant supervisor of all people.

I was there last night with my family and we were waiting for hour and half when we asked the manager about our food . The manager said with no manners and unprofessional behaviours said this is not McDonald’s it takes time . I don’t recommend anyone to go there.

Went there with my family and we had a shocking experience there . -asked the manager why the order is taking so long told me we are not at mcDonalds ! -waitress chewing gum when taking order. After 1.5 hour wait we just left and went to mc Donald .

This restaurant is great for families with kids. The kids menu is varied and well priced. It was lovely showing my daughter the pizza being made and Aga, our waitress, was friendly and considerate, bringing colouring pencils and a hat to keep my toddler entertained. The pizza here never disappoints and the portion sizes are just right for adults and the kids portion is quite generous. Would highly recommend.

The chef did an amazing job preparing our pizza very quickly with lots of toppings spread all around the pizza. Aga was wonderful in her customer service quickly helping us out and recommending alternative toppings to cater ho our dietary requirements. Aga's recommendation was so good we ordered to more of the same pizza to go. Thanks Aga!

Great spot on the high street for some delicious pizza. Come here all the time and food is fantastic, service is great. We usually get a variety of meat and veggie options which are all good. Cocktails are great here too. The scotch bonnet dip is always highly rated too. Staff are attentive but not overbearing and service is swift but not rushed.

The waiter was terribly rude, I visited here on 13th of January at 1pm with my party, and unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival the waiter told us that all tables were booked and left us waiting in the cold for about half an hour. To our surprise, another group arrived without a reservation (we overheard them) during our wait, and the waiter promptly seated them. I went in and confronted him and the other party admitted that they didn't have a reservation and then they left! We felt deceived and frustrated, especially given the presence of a child in our group and the freezing weather. Obviously we also left, and went to one of the other several restaurants in East Dulwich... I really think the management need to review the booking system and the professionalism of their staff as what we experienced this weekend was just awful.

After arriving to Franca Manca East Dulwich at 1.15, our favourite local pizza eat-in, my 22 month old and I sat down and were given menus. The minutes followed, not even a drink was offered. After seeing our waiter go to neighbouring tables boxing up food for another table and still not coming over, my daughter started giving some honest feedback. 'Pizza, Pizza!' she shouted! With no staff visibly on the floor, others dealing with deliveries, existing orders and what not we decided to leave and go to one of three other pizza places within a 50metre distance and were served within minutes. Just some friendly advice, do too much and deliver a mediocre service and people will not come back. Do a small number of things well and people will stay loyal. And finally, give some training to ensure those with young children are offered at least a water or snack within a few minutes of arrival, why not immediately upon arrival like other restaurants?

Just ordered a pizza and was cold as ice, I needed to put it in the oven to be able to eat. I have better pizzas from Waitrose at better prices than paying £26 for this one. My experience with this pizzeria was horrible.

I had a wonderful experience at the East Dulwich Franco Manca last week; we had a warm and witty welcome from Nariman who provided us with great customer service throughout our visit. Our pizzas were fresh and arrived fast, and were delicious as expected. Only criticism I’d share is that they don’t have wine glasses for serving wine.

Pizzas are always on point and we had wonderful service from Raffaella.

Hands down the nicest pizza I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious! Raffaella is an excellent waitress - she was friendly and attentive, and also very patient when my deaf friend needed some information to be repeated. I look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic evening for Raffy’s 8th birthday. Pizzas delicious and the staff, in particular Aga, were amazing to help us celebrate including a great rendition of “Happy Birthday”.

Great pizza, friendly staff, good atmosphere but 'optional table service' 10% automatically added. They bring you the food you ordered. And that's 10% but successfully removed by manager. Thank you. If it wasn't on my overdraft I have left on the bill.

Great pizza tonight, more like the Franco manca I remember from the early arrival in Brixton market and then East Dulwich. I visited a few months ago in the day and the pizza and service wasn't up to scratch but I gave you another go for old times sake and it was very good tonight. The sharing board was great, veg special delicious, pizza was nice and hot (this time!!) Service great. I think you must have better chefs later in the evening! Anyway thanks for a nice meal at a fair price.

Good evening, I usually don’t write reviews but this time I had to do it because the service was exceptional. We were served by a very young lady, Jennifer, who was very attentive and courteous. I went with my children to enjoy a nice meal out and I was impressed by the great skills and service given by Jennifer. She went extra mile to make sure my kids had the right meal as one of them is celiac. She put our minds at ease by assuring us that everything was going to be fine and she double checked everything. The place was very organised and the food was delicious. We definitely need more hardworking people like Jennifer because she definitely made our day! Thank you

I used to love franco manca, once apon a time... sadly their pizzas are uncooked, sparse terrible ingredients and the service is poor. Last time I will be going there again
