Basilico Pizza in York

Basilico Pizza were amazing! The staff went above and beyond by staying open late just for me and my friends, even though they were about to close. They whipped up pizzas that were a true lifesaver after our night out. The friendly service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

Great pizza and delivery service! Ordered at 3 am and the food came very quickly. The delivery driver was super friendly and the pizzas were impeccable, very generously topped.

Visited in person, super friendly customer service, and my Calizone is 10/10, one of if not the best Calizone I've had in my life. Will definitely visit again

Ordered from Foodhub at 1am last night and the Parmesan ordered just never arrived. The number doesn’t work when I tried to call several times and am still clueless as to what has happened with my money. I ended up waiting until 4am and eventually just accepted the fact it’s not coming. Update: after a call with Foodhub I have been refunded. Still can’t contact the takeaway. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Tasted pretty good loved their garlic herb sauce but they just didn’t put on the olives I paid extra for and missed off the bacon that was a part of pizza I ordered, even still it was a pretty quick delivery and tasted good just kinda annoying

Ordered on Deliveroo. The guy called half an hour later and said it was too far so not going to deliver and to ‘take it up with Deliveroo’. Con men trying to take money off people and not delivering food. STAY WELL CLEAR

Awful customer service ordered a pizza through just eat, everything was confirmed and seemed like it was on its way. Called after ages went by and they said they hadn’t received the order even though I have the order number on just eat the man said the machine was broken and hung up on me. Which is clearly ridiculous as they can switch off the machines and call justeat to turn it off. I get he was tired but there was no apology and he was incredibly rude. Didn’t get my pizza as everything else closed.

Don't ever order from here it's not worth it wasted 13 pound on a pizza it's horrible burned and dry one of the worst pizzas ever horrid don't bother

Ordered late so late delivery was to be expected. Arrived cold and completely wrong, ordered a doner pizza and got a meat feast calzone?! They couldn’t be more different

I wanted to try something new at a new place I have never been. And so, I ordered off Deliveroo at 2:20am. The restaurant accepted my order so I assumed they were making my meal. It said it was preparing the food. The estimated delivery time was 3:10am. Got to 3:12am and I was getting concerned so I contacted help from Deliveroo. Deliveroo customer assistant tried to call them and no one picked up. They told me to wait 10mins and so I did. And guess what happens.... Still no food. So the Deliveroo asked me one more time to wait 5mins and I did because it could be busy or COVID guideline. And at the end, still no freaking food. I stayed up late for the food. I know they close at 3am but I ordered at 2:20am so I thought they'll have time to make my order and since they accepted my order. Anyway, do not order from them. Thank gosh I got my payment back from Deliveroo. I would give them 0 stars if I could!

Terrible customer service. Rude, misogynist guy who kept calling people love and darling. Sent an order to someone else's house and when I called to rectify refused to sort the issue. Then called us to fight back when a complaint about their service was registered. Honestly is the guy running this an actual child. DO NOT ORDER.

Awful food and service, rude and aggressive staff

This has got to be the worst food and customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Basically serving substandard disgusting low grade food from staff with the most appalling attitude. We ordered our food but then had the chance to look around the place and at the people who work there who look like a good bath would kill them we were disgusted if you value your health you would never eat here. Disgusting !!

45 minutes late on delivery... pizza is literally cold! Like I normally get chips from other places and this pizza is colder than what others would be like even after me eating chips first if you get what I mean... they said delivery was so late because they were so busy.... it was 3.45 am, I work nights the only place that would be slightly busy in York city centre would be McDonald’s. my boyfriend has gone to bed while waiting for the food because he was drunk and tired and tbh all he wanted was a takeaway. Also please make sure you specify properly if it’s coke or Pepsi because Pepsi is grim. Never ever ordering from here again! One of the worst takeaways in York! Wouldn’t even feed this to my cats tbh. Sort yourselves out.

Freezing and late never ordering again

What a fantastic establishment, if you are rather not sober on a night out, they will look after you, I promise. In addition, they have a toilet here, unlike McDonald's, so if you come here at least you can feel looked after. Absolutely 10/10, also they play great music in here late at night.

The gentleman that runs this fine establishment is an absolute legend and will play some great music while you cure your midnight cravings. Such a charmer and gives good deals to Uni students
