came early, tasted nice and fresh. happy as always.

My order was missing cheese in the sandwich plus the bread was so hard in places I had to throw some away as it was inedible

Food is normally perfect from here, but this time - I got chicken and bacon, requested for it to be toasted and it wasn’t. I had to heat the sandwich up myself, which isn’t an issue, but when I requested it, I expect it like usual😢

Tasted ok, and all items were there. it's quite expensive for what it is, though, but ok for a treat.

I’m unhappy as I didn’t receive my churros but rather than not charging me they put a cookie in instead! If I wanted a cookie I would have ordered one! But apart from that the sandwiches are amazing if very expensive for what they are but as a treat?

The Waffle fries were only luek warm and soggy, I guess they are not good fro delivery but a different cooking process or container might help. and he Footlong dipper had been crushed into the bottom of the bag and was a crumpled mess.

Usually don’t complain but today I feel like I have too. The wait time was ridiculous, staff was building the subs carelessly. When closing the subs she had used the same knife that she used on everyone else’s to cut ours without washing it. Bear in mind the sub previous to ours was a vegetarian sub and she used the same knife to cut ours which was tuna mayo. It brought my friend (who has autism and can’t deal with cross-contamination) to throw up from knowing that they were using the same knife without washing. The food hygiene is appalling.

What can I say I had a really disappointing experience at this sandwich shop. First of all, the staff were throwing the cheese , and it was landing on the meats, causing cross-contamination between different food items. It was also concerning that they didn’t change their gloves after handling meat before preparing another order. Specifically, the staff didn’t switch gloves between making a meat sandwich and a vegan one, which is a basic food safety issue. Additionally, there were no signs about out-of-stock items, so we ended up waiting for about 10 minutes while the staff processed a Just Eat order, only to be told afterward that they had run out of tuna. This lack of communication and basic hygiene really affected my confidence in their food handling practices. Overall, I won’t be returning.

The manager was amazing & highly skilled, they were very busy & absolutely smashed it! Could tell he was passionate about his job! I think his name was Steve, but cannot be 100% certain!

The best subway in Clifton moor now. Particular shout-out to the cheerful girl with the red hair that served me super fast despite having a pile of deliveroo orders to get through before the end of her shift. I know everyone says that kind, friendly, efficient service is a distant memory now, but to those people I say go here!! for a full belly and a happy life!!

I very rarely leave reviews, and have not had a subway sandwich, in years. Thought I would try one today. What a mistake. First, the lady who made my sandwich was wearing gloves 3 sizes bigger, which made getting the sliced cheese very difficult. She then forgot to put in the streaky bacon. She then cut the bread in such a way that half filling could not fit in. She than wrapped the sandwich so loosely that it was impossible to eat, as a sandwich. It was more like a bagel with stuff piled on top. The clincher. I got a foot long and asked if i could have it divided into two six inches and wrapped separately. The lady smiles and says yes, but does not do it. Worst of all, she didn't wrapp the bottom of the paper, so as I was eating one half, the other half fell on the floor. The lady who served me was lovely, but utterly clueless. I binned the rest of the sub, as it was impossible to eat. I thanked them, refused the offer of another sandwich and left.If those are their sandwich making skills and if they are happy to charge money for such substandard garbage, I dare not think what their food hygiene is like. The staff seems polite enough but not very good at making sandwiches. I blame the management on this one. Do yourself a favour and stay away. 8 pounds literally thrown in the bin.

Amazing food was the best salad I’ve had

We ordered our food and it came with the food falling out of the bread, you couldn’t even eat it properly.

Honestly... You just have to put one item at a time in bread... From a list. Why would you put something in there that isn't on the list? Ridiculous.

This was the first time I used an app for subway. Easy ordering and fast delivery. The reason for scoring a 3* the bread was very dry and stale and despite ordering and paying extra meat. Small amount but as usual the salad fresh, crunchy and delicious 😋

Ordered salad boxes, only 1/3 of the box filled for £8 plus delivery and items were missing. Was a small order so no reason to get it wrong really

a family order after they let us down by cancelling our orders late many times years ago… I hope the perfection of this order is indicative of the future. We will be back.

Ordered 4 dips at £1 each. Didn’t arrive. Complained to Just Eat and refused a refund! Not sure why I have to foot £4 bill for an item not received.

I am happy with my delivery time, but every time I have ordered a salad from subway, it is missing half of the stuff that I have asked. I order to my work address as I am a healthcare worker and cannot get out to get the food. Both times I have been on shifts where I am working over 36 hrs and I am really annoyed that I am paying for half of my order.

Delivery driver lovely as always. Meal deal missing drink and both sides so basically paid 14.50 for a sandwich. Contacted just eat but not hopeful.

I left a negative review the other week as this branch couldn't fulfil my order, however this morning a guy called Asad had apologised for the service I’ve received, explained my order couldn’t be done in the time I needed and had assured me that such a thing won’t happen again. The young girl who was servicing me was a newbie with little experience and I can now understand a bit better why she refused to serve me. Overall, I was left impressed with Asad who took the effort and time to apologise

Staff are absolutely wonderful, super helpful and friendly. First time ever going to a subway, plenty of stuff to cater for my gluten intolerance and even took time to spray the surfaces and change gloves. Thank you all so much :•)

All good - don’t bother with purchasing dips, at £1 per pot and 3/4 of my pots were less than 1/4 filled.

I didn’t get my food and I want a refund please

Been twice in a row now and scanned reward card on app but not received any points. Called back in today and they just said couldn't find the order to add the points. Very frustrating as the point system expires next week.

Ok it's a subway nothing to add.... Wrong! First, outside of lunchtime it's fairly quiet, second it's always super clean, and third the guys who work there are super friendly.

Says closing time is 8pm but in reality it should be 7.30pm as staff clear all food away and have nothing to offer to paying customers, bit shoddy really.

Sandwich was well filled. Did order cheesy nachos but received plain with no jalapeños.

Called in this morning for breakfast whilst my wife had a hospital appointment. Had the breakwich was very enjoyable 5/5. The young lady serving was friendly and helpful 5/5. I was the only customer so the atmosphere was very quiet, however I don't mind that. Overall excellent and 5/5.

Staff don't allow customers to design their own sandwich. Went in for a sandwich and got told it's a set menu when Subway's policy allows customers to modify the menu

Hubby and I stopped here for a bite to eat before driving home after a day out. It’s early evening in October and so it was starting to get dark and we were using Google Maps for directions but we still drove past it the first time! It’s very hard to see! It sounds bizarre because it’s right on a corner but the Subway sign wasn’t lit up on either facade, and the lights from inside were so dim it looked closed! The car park was empty too which didn’t help. Once we parked up and went in we realised that the big windows are mirrored from the inside which massively cuts down the light visible from outside - that’s why it looked closed! Anyway, I have to say we were greeted by both staff with a big smile and a friendly welcome, which was great :) It was very welcoming and they were chatty and friendly whilst still being efficient preparing our food. We each chose the Fine Catch tuna salad and it was really good! A great portion! There were a few other people in after us so obviously regulars don’t have any trouble finding it :) The restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly as we left too. Thanks guys, great job :) Please ask Head Office to put bulbs in your outdoor Subway signs though - you might pick up some extra business :)

After a terrible day in work with my lorry breaking down miles from homeand other things going wrong too, I visited the Clifton Moor store in York, and not only were ALL the staff especially Danny extremely friendly, helpful and understanding, to top it off the person in front heard me complaining about the day I'd had and paid for my meal without me knowing, the whole experience totally lifted my spirits after an awful day, 11 out of 10!!!!

The food was cold when it got to me, when I order from here the food is normal hot when o get it. Unfortunately this time everything was cold, it was like the food was already make before the driver came as there wasn’t a driver for a while, I’m very disappointed about this

Food is always good. Prices are getting crazy though. Also, I always ask for the sandwich to be cut with a clean knife as I have a serious allergy, but they never properly clean the knife. This could end badly.

Nice clean subway, friendly staff and good portions. The drinks dispenser didn't have the cherry max so had to have a bottle, but the food was nice and fresh.

Prawie wszystkie aspekty na 5, bo mimo wszystko....mało sałaty. Parking w godzinach szczytu zwykle zajęty, ponieważ jest spory ruch, jednak szybko następuje rotacja samochodów, więc nie ma tragedii. Stoliki, po 4 krzesła przy każdym, więc przyjazne rodzinom 3+. Pozdrawiam i oby tak dalej. 😊

Turned up at 19.00 ordered my sub. The young lad asked if I wanted anything else’s I asked for a coffee he said no the coffee machine had been cleaned. So I said well I want the meal deal and I don’t want a cold drink I could see it was still on so mention this and he said we ain’t allowed to touch it once cleaned I replied why would you shut it off a hour before closing? Well we actually turn it off at 18.00. Looking confused at the fact they stop serving coffee 2 hours before closing so I said well I don’t want my sandwich then if I can’t have a meal deal. He stormed in the back like a sulking toddler so I walked out! Your loss not mine. The eating in part shuts at 18.30 too! My experience rude staff, offering things from the menu that they can’t fulfil, if you want to eat in go to a proper restaurant and save your money. McDonald’s down the road! And it’s cheaper. £11 for a sub meal deal having a laugh you can get a large meal from McDonald’s burger and fries with a drink is £8 😂

Really Unhelpful staff, hanging around to be served, over priced food. Never again. You’ve been warned Atmosphere resembles a dead pet cemetery I paid £10.65 for a 6inch meal and got told they couldn’t give me a refund. The food I just binned, I didn’t feel like eating after I was robbed. This shows the staff didn’t care. Subway never again

We went for snack and chat there. It was clean, staff are polite and nice atmosphere.

Only putting 1 star because there’s no option to put 0. Food and drink missing, the food that did turn up was poor quality and cold. Upon approaching the driver he blamed the restaurant, upon ringing the restaurant they seemed disinterested and unapologetic knowing full well they missed items off the order because “someone forgot to pack it” asking me to just drive down and collect or ring just eat to get a refund even though that completely defeats the object of me ordering a delivery or a drink in the first place. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Place is clean, and is a pretty good subway, all staff are nice except for the girl at the counter who had a bit of an attitude.

It's a Subway. The standard is always good in just about every Subway I've been in. The staff were helpful, just a bit slower than others from experience and some staff may have been new as I'd not seen them before. The ingredients were fresh and of an expected standard. I enjoy a Subway and look forward to more in the future.

Didn't get from the restaurant so please ignore the hated rating as not applicable. Have never had a Subway before! Not obviously converted, it was delicious & good value for money with the delivery fee. I will be ordering again 😊😋

Nachos came & had literally no cheese & covered in tomato sauce. Being a just eat rep I expected way better.

Cheesy bites where stone cold and chewy, really not very nice. Tuna tasted disgusting and was caked in mayo. Cookie was about the only thing i could eat fully.

Took my money over the app then closed the shop early what a joke. Emailed in about a refund a no reply back customer service is a joke!
