Absolutely delicious as usual.

Pizza was disgusting and paid 90 pence for a drop of garlic sauce the chips was tiny would be lucky if the give 15 chips, customer service appalling very disappointed and felt very unwelcome will never ever return

Ordered garlic butter on pizza never got it, called up and they told me it melted. Gone down hill past fe year, don’t order from here dough isn’t cooked and when speaking to them they don’t have a clue. Better takeaway available.

Food was ridiculously expensive. The pizza I ordered was not only very poor quality but really poor value for money. Avoid this place like the plague.

The delivery driver was absolutely shocking. She was extremely rude on delivery. She showed me the receipt and said that my telephone number is wrong and it was stupid. Then she gave me the food quite forcefully before just walking away. Nothing else was said.

Customers already in the shop are ignored and new customers who come in are served first, I think some staff need to be shown how customer service is done, you serve customers that are already waiting in the shop first before new customers who walk in.

Horrible chips where cooked about 3 times and the pizza was totally tastlass but the can of coke was spot on I know time's are hard but when you're giving away 20 chips things are hard

I would give this no stars, but it won’t allow me to! The food was over priced and absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had a kebab like it - chewy, overcooked, flavourless chicken; hard doughy bread and awful flavoured sauce- do not waste your money and go elsewhere!!!

The pizza was incredible and the garlic sauce tasted great. Didn’t get the cheese I paid for on the burger and the portion of chips were a bit small. Delivery was very quick though I was surprised how fast it was. Overall was good. I’d order the pizza again definitely was by far the highlight of the order.

Ordered from here a few times and not had a problem ordered tonight and gets cancelled saying they don’t deliver to lorry’s never been a problem before

Bit disappointed after spending upwards of £50 for food for the family. Food was ok quality, just tainted by the fact that some of the donner had blue plastic in it, maybe someone’s gloves or the donner meat wrapper? Ordered and paid for cheesy chips, they came with no cheese. Ordered & paid for extra garlic sauces, didn’t arrive, neither did the sauces which were supposed to come with the grill box (snack box). No point in ringing - as with all takeaways, who’s going to wait for 45 mins to an hour for a few sauces and grated cheese? Think it was enough to prevent us ordering again.

All different meats were burnt and dried out. Two large pizzas and a mixed Donner kebab. NOT NICE. Meats on all 3 meals were burnt and dried out, and will NEVER use them ever again.

Ordered food from here it came and wasn't as I ordered so they sent out another and still never came as I ordered. The manager got irate over the phone and refused to give me a refund after the driver took a picture of my meal and took it away with him. So I was left with no good and no refund! Never going back there again!

I ordered a shish kebab, expecting a shish kebab. You know, marinated cubes of lamb cooked on a skewer. Instead I got a leathery pitta with slices of dry reheated flavourless pork therein. It was more like a hot sandwich from the market, only horrible in taste and texture. The salad came in a small tub to be added at your discretion..... a bit of limp lettuce, some onion and red cabbage. So gross was the kebab that after a couple of persevering bites , which took far too long to chew, the whole thing went in the bin. Utterly disgusting and not something I recognise as being a shish kebab at all. The business falls foul on trade descriptions and needs a visit from the council or some trading agency. The menu is an outright lie. This was no shish kebab as I was promised. My partner had the 'special' kebab. It was 'special' alright and would have been better labelled 'unique'. Basically it was a tub of slop. It was like thick tomato soup with pieces of donner meat and bits of chicken designed for a pizza floating therein. Also within this monstrous concoction of horror were pieces of sweetcorn and sliced mushrooms. It was a deconstructed pizza without cheese or dough with extra sauce poured in. Utterly vile. God only knows how this could be termed a 'kebab'. It came with the same awful little tub of salad and a separate pitta bread, presumably to dip into the ghastly soup. My partner was very hungry and ate some of his. A most foolish decision, despite the 17 quid that these two monstrosities masquerading as food had cost us. He was up in the night with a bad tum. Churning and gurgling and feeling terribly queezy. Avoid this place. It needs closing down. Utterly gross. It makes me feel sick just remembering it.

Really good pizza, very tasty, plenty of toppings, nice thin base, and freshly cooked chips, all ready 25 mins earlier than the App I ordered from. The only negative point was that the guy working there was incredibly miserable and didn't seem as if he wanted to be there.

Well....... after a long day of driving & working I pull into my hotel in Carlisle & think to myself "I got a really nice meal last time I ordered from just eat" so I thought I would chance my arm & order again, couldn't find the restaurants name So I see "base express" 20-40 min est delivery, decent delivery charge, winner....... so I thought So 30 mins after I order food guy rings me "I'm at the front door of hotel" so I head down & meet him, pleasant enough, friendly, courteous.... little did I know that would be the highlight of my experience with this restraunt. So I head upto my room & tbh I'm not expecting gourmet but I was expecting better, I ordered a meal deal for 1 person, grill box im fairly sure the chips were cooked yesterday & reheated by candlelight before being added to my bag, the "chicken" was drier than an Afghanistan sandal & I'm fairly sure was actually someone's cat cause it certainly wasn't chicken as I know it, the donner meat must have came from a sheep that's older than Betty White & saltier than Theresa may & was clearly cooked hours ago as it was dry on 1 side & crispy on the other & it was absolutely rank rotten & to add insult to injury it was all bloody cold!!! the food was so bad I'm not even throwing it out to the wildlife outside cause I'm fairly sure if I get caught I'm gonna be getting fines/charges from the rspca on animal cruelty laws Sadly this is not a joke & is a genuine review & I hope you have taken time to read it properly, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE for the love of all thats holy (& especially if you have children!!!) do not order from here as I can assure you that's its a set up for disappointment, throw £20 in the bin & just eat last night's dinner or the dogs dinner, possibly even the stuff that's fell outta boxes & is stuck in the ice in your freezer before ordering from here as it would cause you less disappointment Sincerely a thoroughly unsatisfied customer (who's hoping to avoid food poisoning, but isn't holding his breath)

Best donner pizza I've ever had! Open late, fast and friendly, these guys serve up great food. The pizza is hand-tossed in front of you while you wait and the quality is top notch! Thank you guys!

Normally great service, but tonight we got our delivery minus the pizza for the wife who had to go to work at 8 ordered 1750 got my burger pizza still not here at 1940, not even an offer of discount, disappointing.....

Order was over an hour late and every time we phoned they said they didn’t know where driver was and don’t know what time it will be with us. Terrible customer service!

I order from here regularly and they've always been friendly and always early with delivery. I prefer it over most of the other Pizza places around Carlisle.

After eating a chicken kebab was left with stomach pains dodgy stomach frequent toilet visits even my dog who had some of the chicken was affected.

After giving them the benefit of the doubt after order being wrong the last twice ,we ordered again , as it is one of the nicest pizzas in the town.....but , yet again order wrong ...no chips, no salad and no pitta bread , when rang it was a young girl who said they would send missing items but argued with me that certain items wrong and for future reference I would t be getting them . I feel for her but shouldn't argue with customer and we will not be ordering again......oh ,and when it did come it was stone cold!!!

Doesn't deserve a single star. Ordered our food to the wrong address and when we called to say can u redeliver they said no. We obviously said that's not on etc to which they replied saying that were not all there in the head. So unprofessional it's ridiculous. Will never order from here again.

Avril lavine that served us has never had a boy friend boyfriend other wise she might know customer service or manners, she failed to acknowledge anybody in the vicinity as human, her early 2000s emo look kept up with her lack of emotion and consideration towards other humans. It's was super busy on the Saturday night I attended, and full of slightly belligerent drunks. However, plus points were a decently prized 2 pizza and a garlic bread meal, and the option of a 20(!) Inch pizza on the menu. Plus despite how busy they were, still got my fairly large order sorted within 25 minutes.

I was there on Friday night and unfortunately I was not drunk and the southern fried chicken was dry and not a patch on KFC and the snack box with kebab meat, chips and chicken nuggets was a joke and they need to come to Scotland and see what a munchie box is and then they will know why I thought there snack box was not very good at all.

Called in after passing on the way back to our hotel after a night out. Perfect drunk food! We ordered a pizza and a burger. Both good quality and excellent value for money. Would definitely go again!

So pizzarias in Carlisle are generally poor. This one bucks the trend: Always a solid amount of tomato sauce on the pizza. Pleasing cheese. Solidly topped(always go deep pan) Their deep pan pizzas taste like pizzas tasted in the city 15 years ago: no skimping, delivering on taste and satisfaction. Speaking of delivering: they have your gold with you in no time at all. Also a nod to their kebabs: I tend to go for the pizza, but the wifey opted for the smallest chicken kebab available this evening and it was a mighty portion bursting with taste. All in all: if you’re going for a deep pan pizza or a kebab, you won’t find better in Carlisle. Good work.

Base express. Top star service...! Staff are great and the food is always quick, well cooked and thier food never lets us down... Whether be tea time or early morning... Thier delivery service always seems to be very quick, even during the early hours... If you're after food a drink finishing work late or with friends and family and need a top up with food and a couple of more drink.... Alcohol is only delivered with their great food...!... If you're having a great party and maybe running out of nibbles.... Order some more... Menu is BIG!

This place is amazingly good value compared with the big chain pizza takeaways. Our large order was ready for collection in ten minutes and the food was perfect.

Ordered a chicken kebab. My god it was amazing, juicy chicken, salad and sauce separate so could build it as I liked it. Gorgeous food. Btw I'm not a local, on a business trip so I'm very critical, can't fault them.

Me dejó de pedir desde aquí por un tiempo porque la calidad habían disminuido durante algún tiempo. Llegamos a la casa después de la medianoche esta noche para encontrar los armarios desnuda y he pensado darle a este lugar otra como en ningún otro lugar ofrece ir kofte envolturas. Terrible idea. El cartón estaba lleno de grasa y aceite antes considerado la envoltura unwrapping. La tortilla era completamente incomible y mientras la carne no gusto demasiado mal después de que había sido acarició la tintorería con algunas rollo de cocina, no valía la pena la molestia por lo que debería haber sido comida rápida después de una larga noche. Las pizzas y cosas puede ser bien pero bien lejos de su estancia envolturas.

Sólo tenía un kebab entregado a puente warwick vía a comer a la velocidad del rayo sin la necesidad de detener lo que estaba haciendo para comprobar mi teléfono para llamar a decir que estará aquí en 2 horas como el resto en Carlisle. Oído la frase "NO ARREGLAR LO QUE NO ESTÁ ROTO"? Esta fue absolutamente perfecto, los sabores eran deliciosos y el mayor crítico de im cuando se trata de llevar deliverys. No necesitas las patatas fritas, el kebab era demasiado bueno para sidefill. no cambiar una cosa chicos. Bien hecho sin duda pedir de nuevo, no dejes que esos estándares de antes como el resto. Metimos en aquí en el camino a la estación de regresar a Londres, después de una visita de volar a Carlisle United FC. Las patatas fritas eran preciosas, pero el kebabs estaban secas, correosos y sabía raro! El mayor impacto fue carne de kebab, que era tan malo como suena! He visto un montón de comentarios sobre la pizza así que quizás necesitan concentrarse en este y dejar el kebabs solos!

Food is always good. Only criticism is the chips. If they were wrapped in paper rather than put in polystyrene maybe better as they tend to sweat. Homemade would be even better! Everything else is great.

Well ive never had such a yummy pizza ever, it beats competitors easy , got to be the bext pizza ive ever had , had a lovely meal in the restuarant , 5★service , the waiter was fantastic , very polite , helpful and friendly , lovely atmosphere welcoming when you walk in , the place is immaculate lots of room , they even have an upstairs for functions . Plenty to choose from the yummy menu , great family place too children friendly , didnt have to wait long and you can watch them preparing and cooking your food , freshly made . This place also does takeaway service , its the best pizza restuarant ive ever been too , I would def highly recommend :)

I order from Base Express at least once a week. The food is excellent quality, the prices are reasonable and if required the delivery is prompt. The shop is also very clean.

The food is delicious and you get a very fast service. The staff are very good, polite and help with everything you need. We have had food from here before as a delivery and it is just as nice. A very reasonable price too.

Well it was a Saturday evening and we were wanting a pizza so we decided to try out this pizza shop we had heard good reviews about well we walked into the takeaway as we were not willing to pay the high price delivery and when we walked in a old lad who was about to serve us began staring down our tops! which I then "said our faces are up here pet!" then we were given abuse so then we got served a different lad we ordered our food and they gave us free garlic bread pizza and chips to apologize for the inappropriate behaviour this was well appreciated as the garlic bread pizza was magically delightful however the chips were swimming in grease! however pizza was all good but the packaging was poor for our transportation the packaging was very weak for a 20" pizza in which we had to then carefully put the pizza in our spare carrier bags and ditch the box! apart from this the food was currock worthy but they need better boxes and better mannered staff
