Bartlett's Butchers in Kidlington in Cherwell

Lovely baguettes tasty and value for money the only problem was the lad serving had a attitude problem and very rude .

Our daughter had purchased from Bartletts in the past and was very impressed so suggested that we order our meat for Xmas. We put in an order for Pork, gammon, ham, brawn, liver and a heart (my Mother used to make the most delicious stuffed hearts when we were growing up!) I have to say that we were also very impressed from the ordering, delivery to the eating! The meat that we have cooked was absolutely delicious. The liver and heart is still in the freezer and the free bones that were very kindly added to the order kept our dog very happy while we ate our Xmas lunch! Very friendly and personal customer service. We will definitely be using Bartletts again. Thank you

We always have our weekly meat from the shop and it’s always spot on (far better quality than the usual supermarket, and competitively priced!). The lovely staff always make the shopping experience feel more personal too! Definitely recommend!

Came in today with my girlfriend and sister. Rang up prior to arrival to make sure baguette counter was still open. The blonde lady serving had zero concept of what is meant by customer service. She didn’t smile throughout, made no effort to explain what she had left as she had cleared the whole counter for the day. I’ve been coming to this place for years and the baguettes and meat is fantastic and over the years the staff have been fab. I guess every bunch can have a bad apple.

Placed an order for delivery,which was delivered to us in great time for the Easter weekend.Everything my wife an I ordered was some of the best meat we had eaten,and would just like a special mention for the meat balls(I think they may have been the best I have ever had .We would both like to say from the moment we placed our order via email until the food was delivered to us everything was first class.Was the first time we had had anything from them and have already placed another order

Purchased a lovely gammon joint for a special lunch - it was expertly cut and just what I asked for - the sausages from this shop are also excellent.

I've been using this local butcher for years because the meat is good and the prices are very reasonable. Recently we needed lunch in a hurry so we had their Hot Sausage Baguette - delicious try it1 Loads more choices too. Always a bit of a queue which shows it's popularity.

Sometimes can have long ques for sandwich counter so really great you can phone your baguettes & food orders beforehand do ready when you arrive to pay and take away. Also always good knowledgeable advice from butchers on meat counter.

Great baguettes and a good choice. Also a good local butcher Kidlington is lucky to have. We particularly like the bacon and sausages ones using Bartlett's own sausages.

Just purchase a ham salad baguette for my lunch, the salad was very poor , a tiny piece of ice burg and 1 slice of tomatoe ( the end of) the ham though was lovely and plenty of it. What did concern me though was the gentleman making the baguettes was also handling Money, this I think is very unhygienic, because of this I will not be purchasing from the baguette side of the shop again.

Esta es una carnicería que también prepara el almuerzo, etc. baguettes Tienen una amplia selección de relleno y el servicio es bueno. El único inconveniente es que a veces hay colas, pero eso sólo puede ser una buena señal de que más gente quiere comer de allí.

Aunque no soy un residente local hacia kidlington im ahora en trabajar aquí dos días a la semana. Es realmente genial encontrar este tipo de establecimiento. La sección de carnicería es espectacular, pero el lado bocadillo es tan bueno. Fantástica relación calidad-precio para mientras espera recién hecho baguettes. Verdaderamente un gran lugar para visitar.

We have an annual family camping and drop-in event in Cassington every year. For a change we decided to order the meat for the BBQ from a local butcher rather than have a family member bring it from as far away as Bournemouth or Liverpool. Well! What an excellent decision! Dave delivered the afternoon before and the burgers and sausages went down a storm. We had compliment after compliment. Great meat at very fair prices - we'll be back. Thanks Dave

Was visiting a customer in Kidlington and needed some lunch. They recommended Bartletts for their lunchtime meal deal. Filled baguette, drink, crisps & a cake for under a fiver! Bargain. A vast range of freshly made fillings greet you on arrival and they make your order while you wait. Much nicer than the usual mundane national chains. Bartlett's offer taste & value and you're supporting local business. Excellent lunch & fabulous service.

Fed up with chewy & tasteless meat from the big supermarkets, we decided to "pay the extra" and use a proper butcher.I was surprised that the prices aren't so different after all, some things are even cheaper than the supermarkets. What an idiot I've been!In here you will find real butchers with some superb produce, and the personal touch that you just don't get in a supermarket.We've been regulars for a good few yrs now, and I will keep coming back. Not a restaurant - but a takeaway sandwich bit of the butchers. There's a few places to get lunch in Kidlington but the butchers also makes up some very tasty baguettes to take away. They do their really nice bacon sandwiches and a first rate scotch egg.

Whilst looking around Kidlington I came across this Butchers shop, they had some great deals, and i bought some Steaks, which were truly excellent, I will certainly use again when in the area.

I couldn't believe how cheap the meat is here, the service is excellent, I highly recommend this butchers. They also do baguettes and sandwiches too.

excellent quality meat at prices cheaper than sainsburys. try the rump steak, melts in your mouth.. good packs for bbq if we had the weather!

The queues outside the door most Friday's and Saturdays can only mean one thing......it's worth it! Superb fresh meat, excellent value BBQ packs. Great recipe tips and great staff. Highly recommend!

Yes it's a butchers shop, and a damned good one too, but they also do the best baguettes you'll find pretty much anywhere. There's plenty of choice & you can have large or small, and the value is great. In fact you can have a decent lunch as they can also do other snack items & drinks.The staff are all great & long standing which is always a sign of a good business.Try it you won't be disappointed.
